Resumo O objetivo desse estudo é apresentar intervenções educacionais no contexto do PET-I, realizadas no ensino e no serviço de saúde de um município no sudoeste de Goiás, a partir da análise dos grupos focais e dos portfólios realizados pelos participantes, de forma longitudinal. Foi realizado um estudo descritivo exploratório, de abordagem qualitativa, fundamentado nas bases teórico-conceituais e metodológicas da EIP, no período de agosto de 2019 a novembro de 2020. Observou-se que os discentes perceberam a participação no PET-I como uma oportunidade de interagir com outras profissões, além da sua própria e de associar teoria à prática e atuar como protagonistas. Os participantes acreditam que trabalhar em conjunto para fornecer o melhor atendimento aos pacientes requer uma compreensão básica das diferentes perspectivas, funções e responsabilidades de todos os profissionais envolvidos no trabalho. Eles enfatizaram conversas informais, reuniões e até mesmo discussões de casos como uma oportunidade para permitir que todos entendessem as opiniões e atribuições do profissional e aprofundassem seu entendimento da importância da comunicação colaborativa. Abstract This study aimed to present educational interventions in the context of the Education Program through PET-Health Interprofessionality (PET-I), carried out in teaching and in healthcare service of a municipality of Goiás state, based on the analysis of focus groups and portfolios made by participants. A descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach was carried out, based on the theoretical-conceptual and methodological foundations of interprofessional education, from August 2019 to November 2020. It was observed that students perceived participation in PET-I as an opportunity to interact with other professions, to associate theory with practice and to act as leading actors. Participants believe that working together to provide the best care for patients requires a basic understanding of the different perspectives and responsibilities of professionals involved. They emphasized informal conversations, meetings, and case discussions as opportunities to understand professional’s opinions and assignments, and deepen their understanding of the importance of collaborative communication. ABSTRACT Non-communicable chronic diseases (NCDs) are considered one of the leading causes of death worldwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these diseases have been neglected due to the Brazilian Unified National Health System (BHUS) overload. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the bond between patients with NCDs and primary care during the COVID-19 pandemic while also seeking to identify the population's level of knowledge about health parameters and their relationship with the healthcare system. A cross-sectional and observational study was conducted, in which an online questionnaire was administered to collect socioeconomic information from patients and their bond with BHUS in the metropolitan region of Maringa, Parana, Brazil, encompassing individuals over 18 years of age. The survey was promoted on social media, and interested participants responded to the questionnaire, which addressed topics such as identification, medication use, disease information, knowledge about NCDs, and general data related to COVID-19. The obtained and analyzed responses revealed a low bond level between this population and primary care and a lack of knowledge about NCDs and their health during the pandemic. There was a notable decrease in seeking healthcare services during this period, which may be explained by the fear of contracting the novel coronavirus. This study is essential to understand patients' responses to public health challenges during the pandemic. It can become a valuable ally in dealing with future pandemics and endemic crises, enabling improvements in care and raising awareness among the population about NCDs and the healthcare system.

RESUMO As doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNTs) são consideradas uma das principais causas de morte em todo o mundo. Durante a pandemia da COVID-19, essas doenças têm sido negligenciadas devido à sobrecarga das Unidades Básicas de Saúde (BHU). Neste contexto, o objetivo deste estudo é analisar o vínculo dos pacientes com DCNTs com a atenção primária durante a pandemia da COVID-19, ao mesmo tempo em que busca identificar o nível de conhecimento da população sobre os parâmetros de saúde e o relacionamento com o sistema de saúde. Realizou-se um estudo transversal e observacional, no qual foi aplicado um questionário online para coletar informações socioeconômicas dos pacientes e seu vínculo com as BHUs na região metropolitana de Maringá/PR, abrangendo indivíduos maiores de 18 anos. A divulgação foi realizada em mídias sociais e os interessados responderam ao questionário que abordou tópicos como identificação, uso de medicações, informações sobre doenças, conhecimento acerca das DCNTs e dados gerais relacionados à COVID-19. As respostas obtidas e analisadas revelaram um baixo nível de vínculo dessa população com a atenção primária, assim como uma falta de conhecimento sobre as DCNTs e a própria saúde durante a pandemia. Observou-se uma notável redução na procura por serviços de saúde durante esse período, o que pode ser explicado pelo receio da contaminação pelo novo coronavírus. Este estudo se apresenta como uma ferramenta importante para compreender a resposta dos pacientes frente aos desafios da saúde pública durante a pandemia. Ele pode se tornar um aliado valioso para lidar com futuras pandemias e crises endêmicas, possibilitando melhorias nos cuidados e na conscientização da população sobre as DCNTs e o sistema de saúde.

RESUMEN Las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles (ENT) son consideradas una de las principales causas de muerte a nivel mundial. Durante la pandemia de COVID-19, estas enfermedades han sido desatendidas debido a la sobrecarga de las Unidades Básicas de Salud (UBS). En ese contexto, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar el vínculo entre los pacientes con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles (ECNT) y la atención primaria durante la pandemia de COVID-19, buscando identificar el nivel de conocimiento de la población sobre los parámetros de salud y la relación con el sistema de salud. Se realizó un estudio transversal y observacional, en el que se aplicó un cuestionario en línea para recolectar información socioeconómica de los pacientes y su vínculo con las BHU en la región metropolitana de Maringá/PR, abarcando personas mayores de 18 años. La divulgación se realizó en las redes sociales y los interesados respondieron el cuestionario que abordó temas como identificación, uso de medicamentos, información sobre enfermedades, conocimientos sobre ECNT y datos generales relacionados con el COVID-19. Las respuestas obtenidas y analizadas revelaron un bajo nivel de vinculación de esta población con la atención primaria, así como un desconocimiento sobre las ECNT y su propia salud durante la pandemia. Hubo una notable reducción en la demanda de servicios de salud durante este período, lo que puede explicarse por el temor a la contaminación por el nuevo coronavirus. Este estudio se presenta como una herramienta importante para comprender la respuesta de los pacientes a los desafíos de salud pública durante la pandemia. Puede convertirse en un valioso aliado para enfrentar futuras pandemias y crisis endémicas, posibilitando mejoras en la atención y concientización de la población sobre las ECNT y el sistema de salud.

ABSTRACT Obesity is a global Non-Communicable Chronic Disease (NCD) associated with various comorbidities and a high mortality rate. This scenario has increasingly affected the female population, leading to a rise in prevalence and related health issues. Therefore, the present study aimed to assess the health-related quality of life of women with overweight or obesity and symptoms of COVID-19 using a multi-professional intervention model. This research was conducted as a parallel group and repeated measures pragmatic trial, in which 28 participants aged between 25 and 65 were allocated into two groups: experimental (intervention group) and control (non-intervention participants). The Body Mass Index (BMI) was (30.5 ± 5.45 kg/m²) in the Experimental Group, and the Control Group was (31 ± 8.2 kg/m2). The 12-Item Health Survey (SF-12) questionnaire was applied to assess the quality of life in the physical and mental domains of COVID-19 survivors with different symptom severities (mild, moderate, severe) compared to the control group. At the end of the program, 28 participants finished the study (15 from the experimental group and 13 from the control group). The results indicated a significant improvement in the mental health domain only in the experimental group after the intervention period (p < 0.05). However, no significant differences in physical health were observed between the experimental and control groups (p > 0.05). Considering these findings, multi-professional actions emerge as a crucial component for enhancing the quality of life, particularly within mental health, during the 16-week intervention period.

RESUMO A obesidade é uma Doença Crônica Não-Transmissível (DCNT) com alcance mundial, associada a diversas comorbidades e alta taxa de mortalidade. Esse quadro tem afetado cada vez mais o público feminino, com aumento da prevalência e doenças correlatas. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde de mulheres com sobrepeso ou obesidade com sintomas da COVID-19 utilizando um modelo de intervenção multiprofissional. Esta pesquisa foi conduzida como um ensaio pragmático de grupos paralelos e medidas repetidas, no qual 28 participantes de idade entre 25 a 65 anos foram distribuídas em dois grupos: experimental (participantes das intervenções) e controle (não participantes das intervenções). No grupo experimental o Índice de Massa Corporal (IMC) foi de (30,5 ± 5,45 kg/m²) e no grupo controle, IMC foi de (31 ± 8,2 kg/m²). Utilizou-se o questionário 12-Item Health Survey (SF-12) para analisar a qualidade de vida nos domínios físico e mental das sobreviventes da COVID-19 nas diferentes sintomatologias (COVID leve, moderada e grave) em comparação com o grupo controle (não participantes das intervenções). Ao final do programa, 28 participantes finalizaram o estudo (15 do grupo experimental e 13 do grupo controle). Os resultados indicaram uma melhoria significativa no domínio de saúde mental apenas no grupo experimental após o período de intervenção (p < 0,05). Entretanto, não foram observadas diferenças significativas na saúde física entre o grupo experimental e controle (p > 0,05). Diante dos resultados a reabilitação multiprofissional emerge como componente importante para a melhoria da qualidade de vida, especialmente no âmbito da saúde mental durante as 16 semanas de intervenção.

RESUMEN La obesidad es una Enfermedad Crónica No Transmisible (ECNT) global asociada a diversas comorbilidades y una alta tasa de mortalidad. Este escenario ha afectado cada vez más a la población femenina, lo que ha llevado a un aumento en la prevalencia y problemas de salud relacionados. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud de mujeres con sobrepeso u obesidad y síntomas de COVID-19 mediante un modelo de intervención multiprofesional. Esta investigación se llevó a cabo como un ensayo pragmático de grupos paralelos y medidas repetidas, en el que 48 participantes con edades comprendidas entre 25 y 65 años fueron alocadas en dos grupos: experimental (participantes de la intervención) y control (participantes de la no intervención). En el grupo experimental el Índice de Masa Corporal (IMC) fue de (30,5 ± 5,45 kg/m²). En el grupo control, el IMC fue (31 ± 8,2 kg/m²). Se utilizó el cuestionario de 12-Item Health Survey (SF-12) para evaluar la calidad de vida en los dominios físico y mental de las sobrevivientes de COVID-19 con diferentes grados de gravedad de síntomas (leves, moderados, graves) en comparación con el grupo de control (participantes que no recibieron intervenciones). Al final del programa, 28 participantes terminado el estudio (15 participantes de la intervención y 13 sin intervención). Los resultados indicaron una mejora significativa en el dominio de la salud mental solo en el grupo experimental después del período de intervención (p < 0.05). Sin embargo, no se observaron diferencias significativas en la salud física entre el grupo experimental y el grupo de control (p > 0.05). A la luz de estos hallazgos, la rehabilitación multiprofesional emerge como un componente crucial para mejorar la calidad de vida, especialmente en el ámbito de la salud mental durante el período de intervención de 16 semanas.

Abstract Soil health has been used worldwide for soil monitoring in different soil use and management. The objective of the study was to evaluate, in a Subtropical Oxisol of the Campos Gerais region in Paraná state, if the Visual Evaluation of Soil structure (VESS) and Soil Management Assessment Framework (SMAF) approaches allow evaluate soil response to various land uses or soil tillage used in the region. The land use and tillage practices consist of conventional tillage, minimum tillage, no-tillage, and secondary forest. The SMAF was used as a tool to evaluate the soil health using five indicators: pH, phosphorus, potassium, bulk density, and soil organic carbon. The VESS was used to determine the soil structural quality. The secondary forest showed the best soil structure and tillage practices declined soil structure quality. Similarly, the soil health index was higher in secondary forest compared to tillage practices, and the tillage had little effect on soil health. The SMAF showed differences between land use and tillage practices. ABSTRACT Rickettsiosis is a disease caused by bacteria belonging to the genus Rickettsia, and is a potentially fatal zoonotic disease of great medical and veterinary importance. Given the urgent need to develop new diagnostic methods for detecting this disease, the present review aimed to evaluate the number of publications dedicated to the identification of Rickettsia spp. in human samples using molecular methods, such as polymerase chain reaction and its variations. To this end, a bibliographical survey covering articles published in the past ten years was conducted using the PudMed platform with the keywords “spotted fever” and “Rickettsia,” both combined with “diagnosis.” A growing number of publications in this area reflects an increasing interest in research, especially since 2015. From 2015 to February 2024, several promising results were tested and many studies were able to detect the genetic sequences of interest. RESUMO Objetivo: Avaliar a alteração dimensional de modelos edêntulos fabricados em silicone laboratorial de alta densidade em diferentes tempos de armazenagem. Métodos: Um modelo mestre metálico simulando uma maxila edêntula foi utilizado. O modelo possuía projeções oclusais de 1,8 cm localizadas nas regiões de caninos (A e B) e molares (C e D), permitindo a mensuração das distâncias lineares AB, BC, CD, DA, AC e BD. Um molde foi fabricado em silicone laboratorial para duplicação do modelo mestre com os seguintes materiais (n = 10): G1: Zetalabor 85, G2: Titanium 95, G3: Platinum 95 e G4: Gesso tipo III (controle). As amostras foram fotografadas e mensuradas com auxílio de um software (Image J) nos tempos T1 (baseline) e T2 (após uma semana de confecção). Os dados obtidos foram avaliados estatisticamente utilizando os testes não paramétricos de Kruskal- Wallis e Dunn (α = 0.05). Resultados: O tempo de armazenagem influenciou o comportamento dos materiais avaliados. Todos os grupos apresentaram alterações dimensionais em ambos os temos de avaliação e o G2 apresentou os melhores resultados. Apenas o grupo G1 mostrou alteração dimensional dependente da região mensurada. Conclusão: Silicones laboratoriais de alta densidade mostraram resultados satisfatórias de alteração dimensional quando comparados ao gesso tipo III. O material Titanium 95foi o mais estável e pode ser recomendado como alternativa para a confecção de modelos edêntulos. ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate the dimensional change of edentulous models made of high density laboratory silicones at different storagetimes. Methods: A metallic master model simulating an edentulous maxilla was used. The model had projections of 1.8 cm located in the regions of canines (A and B) and molars (C and D) allowing the linear measurement of distances AB, BC, CD, DA, AC and BD. A laboratory silicone mold was made for duplication of master model in the following materials (n = 10): G1: Zetalabor 85, G2: Titanium 95, G3: Platinum 95 and G4: Gypsum type III (control). The samples were photographed and measured using a software (Image J) at times T1 (baseline) and T2 (after one week of models fabrication). The data were statistically analyzed using Kruskal- Wallis and Dun non-parametric tests (α = 0.05). Results: The storage time influenced the behavior of the materials evaluated. All groups presented dimensional changes in both times and the group Tit95 presented the best results. Only Zet85 group showed a different behavior related to the region of the model. Conclusions: The high density laboratory silicones showed satisfactory results when compared to the gypsum group. Abstract Due to the great interest in ovarian cryopreservation and, consequently conservation and restoration of female fertility in the last decades, different vitrification procedures (vitrification devices or solutions) have been developed, patented, and used both for academic research purposes and for clinical use. Therefore, the present study aimed to provide a systematic review and meta-analysis of data obtained from the application of different patented and non-patented vitrification devices and solutions in different countries. For this purpose, relevant observational studies published between the years 2000 to 2021 were selected to verify the efficiency of ovarian vitrification processes on parameters such as morphology, viability, and apoptosis in preantral ovarian follicles after transplantation or in vitro culture. Our research revealed that, although several countries were considered in the study, the United States and Japan were the countries that registered the most processes, and 22 and 16 vitrification devices and solutions out of a total of 51, respectively were patented. Sixty-two non-patented processes were also considered in the study in all countries. We also observed that transplantation and in vitro ovarian culture were the techniques predominantly used to evaluate the efficiency of the devices and vitrification solutions, respectively. In conclusion, this review showed that patented or non-patented protocols available in the literature are able to successfully preserve preantral follicles present in ovarian tissue. Despite the satisfactory results reported so far, adjustments in ovarian vitrification protocols in order to minimize cryoinjuries to the follicles remain one of the goals of cryopreservation and preservation of the female reproductive function. We found that vitrification alters the morphology and viability, and offers risks leading in some cases to follicular apoptosis. Resumo: Introdução: No Brasil, há um esforço para incorporar a educação interprofissional (EIP) nas políticas indutoras de reorientação profissional em saúde. Nesse contexto, destaca- se o Programa de Educação pelo Trabalho para a Saúde - Interprofissionalidade (PET-I), que aplica as bases teóricas e metodológicas da EIP para promover mudanças curriculares para os cursos de graduação na área da saúde, além de iniciativas de educação permanente. Objetivos: Descrever as experiências e conhecimentos construídos coletivamente na implementação do PET-I em uma universidade pública do centro-oeste brasileiro. Métodos: Estudo exploratório realizado por meio de análise documental de portfolios e da condução de dois grupos focais com participantes do PET-I (antes e após intervenções propostas pelo PET-I). Para análise, adotou-se a análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Da análise das respostas dos Grupo Focais e dos portfólios, emergiram três categorias. Esse estudo optou por focar na categoria: Interprofissionalidade e trabalho em equipe. No primeiro grupo focal, foi possível identificar falas que evidenciavam a competição no dia a dia das equipes nos serviços de saúde. Após a vivência no PET-I, durante a condução do segundo grupo focal, percebeu-se um amadurecimento sobre o entendimento da EIP, diante da melhoria de suas habilidades com o trabalho interprofissional e pelo debate sobre a realidade da formação em saúde no país. Conclusões: As atividades propostas pelo PET-I buscaram desenvolver competências colaborativas ao dar mais autonomia aos participantes, incentivando o protagonismo para maior colaboração interprofissional nas atividades desempenhadas. Para tanto, foi necessário que os integrantes se conhecessem e confiassem uns nos outros e se comunicassem de modo a desenvolver um trabalho coletivo, e a adoção dos grupos focais como método foi essencial para garantir a interação entre os participantes. Essa vivência foi o grande disparador da aprendizagem e reflexão sobre a integralidade do cuidado e o trabalho em equipe.

Abstract: Introduction: In Brazil, there is an effort to incorporate interprofessional education (IPE) in policies that induce professional reorientation in health. In this context, the Education Program through Work for Health - Interprofessionality (PET-I) stands out, which applies the theoretical and methodological bases of the IPE to promote curricular changes for undergraduate courses in the health area, in addition to initiatives of permanent education. Objectives: To describe the experiences and knowledge collectively built in the implementation of PET-I in a public university in the Brazilian Midwest. Methods: Exploratory study carried out through documental analysis of portfolios and conducting two focus groups with PET-I participants (before and after interventions proposed by PET-I). For analysis, content analysis was adopted. Results: From the analysis of the responses of the Focus Groups and of the portfolios, three categories emerged. This study chose to focus on the category: Interprofessionality and teamwork. In the first focus group, it was possible to identify speeches that evidenced the competition in the daily routine of the teams in the health services. After the experience in the PET-I, during the conduction of the second focus group, there was a maturation in the understanding of IPE, in view of the improvement of their skills with interprofessional work and the debate on the reality of health education in the country. Conclusions: The activities proposed by PET-I sought to develop collaborative skills by giving more autonomy to participants, encouraging protagonism for greater interprofessional collaboration in the activities performed. Therefore, it was necessary for the members to know and trust each other and communicate to develop a collective work, and the adoption of focus groups as a method was essential to guarantee the interaction between the participants. This experience was the great trigger for learning and reflection on comprehensive care and teamwork.

RESUMO Objetivo Analisar a autopercepção de esforço vocal, sinais e sintomas vocais e fadiga vocal em professores antes e durante a pandemia da COVID-19; e os fatores relacionados a dados sociodemograficos e ocupacionais que pudessem prever a autopercepção durante a pandemia. Métodos Participaram do estudo 263 professores brasileiros que estavam trabalhando em home office durante a pandemia. Eles responderam um questionário sobre dados sociodemográficos e ocupacionais, escala de Borg CR10-BR adaptada para classificação de esforço vocal, Lista de Sinais e Sintomas Vocais e Índice de Fadiga Vocal. Os questionários de autoavaliação vocal foram respondidos duas vezes, considerando antes e durante a pandemia. Resultados A autopercepção de esforço vocal, sinais e sintomas vocais e fadiga vocal durante a pandemia em professores foi menor do que antes da pandemia. Na comparação dos desfechos por queixa vocal, os professores sem queixa vocal apresentaram valores menores do que aqueles com queixa vocal. Professores com queixas vocais durante a pandemia apresentaram maior autopercepção de fadiga vocal. Professores de educação infantil, ensino fundamental e ensino médio relataram mais sinais e sintomas vocais antes do que durante a pandemia. Conclusão Em geral, os professores relatam diminuição do esforço vocal e dos sinais e sintomas vocais durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Professores com queixas vocais apresentam maior percepção de esforço vocal, sinais e sintomas vocais e fadiga vocal. A presença de queixas vocais e as variáveis relacionadas à demanda vocal durante a pandemia estão relacionadas à percepção de esforço vocal, sinais e sintomas vocais e fadiga vocal.

ABSTRACT Purpose This study aims to analyze the self-perception of vocal effort, vocal signs and symptoms, and vocal fatigue in teachers before and during the COVID-19 pandemic; and factors related to sociodemographic and occupational data that could predict self-perception during the pandemic Methods Participants were 263 Brazilian teachers working from in-home office during the pandemic. They answered a questionnaire on sociodemographic and occupational data, adapted Borg CR10-BR for vocal effort ratings, Vocal Signs and Symptoms List, and Vocal Fatigue Index. The vocal self-assessment questionnaires were answered twice, considering the period before and during the pandemic. Results The self-perception of vocal effort, vocal signs and symptoms, and vocal fatigue during the pandemic in teachers was lower than before the pandemic. In comparing outcomes due to vocal complaints, teachers with no vocal complaints presented lower values than those with vocal complaints. Teachers with vocal complaints during the pandemic showed greater self-perception of vocal fatigue. Teachers at early education, elementary, and high schools self-reported more vocal signs and symptoms before than during the pandemic. Conclusion In general, teachers report decreased vocal effort and vocal signs and symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers with vocal complaints have a higher perception of vocal effort, vocal signs and symptoms, and vocal fatigue. The presence of vocal complaints and the variables related to vocal demand during the pandemic are related to the perception of vocal effort, vocal signs and symptoms, and vocal fatigue.

ABSTRACT. Grain size is an essential trait in common bean breeding as it determines the acceptance of a new cultivar by producers, consumers, and the industry. The objectives of this study were to identify the ideal traits for selecting common bean lines in the F3 generation to obtain an adequate sieve yield and to identify the best lines for sieve yield by applying early generation selection. Two trials were conducted in two locations during the 2016/2017 crop season. These trials were composed of 300 F3 populations and two parents (used as checks). The experimental design used was an augmented block design without repetition for the treatments (lineages). After harvest, the grain yield, yield components, and sieve yield (SY) were evaluated. In conclusion, selection in the F3 generation can be performed for sieve yield, considering the traits SY12+13, SY14, and relative grain yield, as they present the highest values of heritability and greatest correlation between genotype and performance in the evaluated environments. Additionally, the lines selected to continue in the breeding program are composed of the 15 best lineages for traits SY12+13, SY14, and relative grain yield. Preference should be given to lines that excel in more than one of these traits.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to compare the trueness and precision of physical models manufactured chairside (intraoral scanner and 3D printed) or by plaster models obtained using impression with alginate or addition silicone. A full- arch stainless steel die was impressed to obtain ten physical models for each group. The models were measured in a stereomicroscope, considering four linear distances. To assess the precision accuracy, an analysis of the measurement variability was carried out, identified by the coefficients of variation and by the Levene’s test to compare the groups. To analyze trueness, the data average was subtracted from the database and compared considering alpha as 5 %. Considering precision, the higher dispersion of data occurred in the models obtained with silicone impression. And for trueness, Kruskal Wallis and Dunn tests results did not indicate differences between the groups in the anteroposterior linear distances (p> 0.05). Only in anterior transverse distance obtained through TRIOS (0.31 mm), it presented lower accuracy compared to the models from silicone impression (0.13 mm); however, at transverse posterior distance, the models from silicone impression showed the lowest accuracy (p <0.05). There was no difference between the models from scanning (p> 0.05). The physical dental models obtained by digital and analog workflows showed acceptable dimensional accuracy expressed by high precision and trueness. There is no difference between the evaluated intraoral scanner systems and the impression materials for the full-arch impression.

RESUMEN: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar la veracidad y precisión de modelos físicos fabricados en la clínica dental (escáner intraoral e impreso en 3D) o por modelos de yeso obtenidos mediante impresión con alginato o silicona de adición. Una matriz de acero inoxidable de arco completo fue impresa para obtener diez modelos físicos para cada grupo. Los modelos se midieron en un estereomicroscopio, considerando cuatro distancias lineales. Se realizó un análisis de la variabilidad de la medida para evaluar la precisión, identificada por los coeficientes de variación y por la prueba de Levene para comparar los grupos. Para analizar la veracidad, el promedio de los datos se restó de la base de datos y se comparó considerando alfa como 5 %. Considerando la precisión, la mayor dispersión de datos ocurrió en los modelos obtenidos con impresión de silicona. Y para la veracidad, los resultados de las pruebas de Kruskal Wallis y Dunn no indicaron diferencias entre los grupos en las distancias lineales anteroposteriores (p> 0,05). Solo en la distancia transversal anterior obtenida mediante TRIOS (0,31 mm) presentó menor precisión en comparación con los modelos de impresión de silicona (0,13 mm); sin embargo, la distancia transversal posterior, los modelos de impresión de silicona mostraron la menor precisión (p <0,05). No hubo diferencia entre los modelos de escaneo (p> 0,05). Los modelos dentales físicos obtenidos mediante flujos de trabajo digitales y analógicos mostraron una precisión dimensional aceptable expresada por alta precisión y veracidad. No se observó diferencia entre los sistemas de escáner intraoral evaluados y los materiales de impresión para la impresión de arco completa.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To estimate the evolution of the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection among residents aged 18 years or over in the municipality of São Paulo. METHODS This is a population-based household survey conducted every 15 days, between June and September 2020, and January and February 2021. In total, the study comprised 11 phases. The presence of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 was identified in venous blood using a lateral flow test, Wondfo Biotech. In the last phase, the researchers combined it with an immunoenzymatic test, Euroimmun. The participants also answered a semi-structured questionnaire on sociodemographic and economic factors, and on social distancing measures. Prevalence estimates and the 95% confidence interval were estimated according to regions, Human Development Index, sex, age group, ethnicity, education, income, and variables associated with risk or prevention of infection. To compare the frequencies among the categories of each variable, the chi-square test with Rao-Scott correction was used, considering a significance level of 5%. RESULTS In total, 23,397 individuals were interviewed and had their samples collected. The estimated prevalence of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 ranged from 9.7% (95%CI: 7.9–11.8%) to 25.0% (95%CI: 21.7–28.7). The prevalence of individuals with antibodies against the virus was higher among black and brown people, people with lower schooling and income, and among residents of regions with lower Human Development Index. The lowest prevalences were associated with recommended measures of disease protection. The proportion of asymptomatic infection was 45.1%. CONCLUSION The estimated prevalence of the infection was lower than the cumulative incidence variation, except for the last phase of the study. The differences in prevalence estimates observed among subpopulations showed social inequality as a risk of infection. The lower prevalence observed among those who could follow prevention measures reinforce the need to maintain social distancing measures as a way to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é relatar o caso clínico de um menino de 3 anos e 7 meses de idade com microcefalia com múltiplos cistos de erupção e discutir as condutas adotadas. Baseadas nos aspetos clínicos e radiográficos, o diagnóstico foi de cisto de erupção. Para o tratamento optou-se pela incisão cirúrgica dos cistos de erupção, sob anestesia geral, mas por motivos de saúde o paciente não pode realizar o procedimento proposto e, após 4 meses, sete dos oito cistos de erupção tinham desaparecidos com a irrupção dos molares decíduos, sem necessidade de intervenção cirúrgica. No que diz respeito ao cisto de erupção remanescente a terapêutica eleita foi o acompanhamento e descompressão manual realizada pela mãe. É possível individualizar o tratamento do cisto de erupção optando-se pelo acompanhamento da lesão com o desaparecimento espontâneo da mesma, sem qualquer tipo de intervenção.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to report the clinical case of a 3-year and 7-month-old male child with microcephaly who had multiple eruption cysts, and to discuss the adopted procedures. The diagnosis of eruption cyst was concluded based on the clinical and radiographic characteristics. The treatment proposed was a surgical incision of the eruption cysts with the patient under general anesthesia. However, due to health reasons, the patient could not have the procedure performed, and, after four months, seven of the eight eruption cysts had regressed with teeth eruption; therefore, no surgical intervention was needed. Regarding the remaining eruption cyst, the therapy adopted was his mother monitoring the condition. It is possible to personalize eruption cyst treatment by monitoring the lesion until its eventual spontaneous disappearance, without any type of intervention.
