ABSTRACT Public bidding is a Brazilian subject of great importance, being subject to control by the federal audit court, to prevent deviations and corruption. Even national legislation has undergone recent changes to make the use of this instrument more effective. In the public aspect, the bidding process goes through the determination of the need, the publication process, the choice, the contracting, and the post-contract period. Since some of the bidding modalities are exclusively based in “lowest price” and prevent the direct use of MCDA selecting the alternatives, this paper proposes using a combined approach, using MCDA and cognitive maps, to help in the determination of the bidding object. This approach is applied to a hypothetical situation, and the case study shows the convenience of its practical use in a real situation. The specific case is related to structural covering, using NBR15575 as a criteria definition subsidy. The study shows a contribution of cognitive maps to express the rationale according to legal principles and providing elements of the MCDA model. While FITradeoff supports the definition of the object, which is fundamental to avoid failures in the contracting process. RESUMO Objetivo Desvelar o movimento existencial do ser mulher sobrevivente ao câncer de mama. Métodos Qualitativo, fenomenológico, com analítica heideggeriana a partir de 15 entrevistas, entre outubro de 2020 e janeiro de 2021, em um hospital de ensino mineiro. À construção das Unidades de Significação, seguiram-se momentos metódicos compreensivos. Resultados O ser-aí-mulher-sobrevivente-ao-câncer-de-mama se mostrou na cotidianidade, ocupada na manualidade dos afazeres dentro e fora de casa, movida pela impessoalidade e impropriedade. Desvelou-se o temor da morte, falatório, curiosidade e ambiguidade que a conduziram à decadência,vivenciada no mundo do tratamento e do seguimento, possibilitando ser-com. À angústia que se anunciou fugaz, seguiu-se a decadência que na maior parte das vezes a presença se mantém. Conclusões Reforça-se a necessária estruturação de linha de cuidados especializada e interdisciplinar, em que o cuidado centrado na escuta ativa e qualificada abarque a multidimensionalidade, vislumbrando a mulher nos aspectos que permeiam a sobrevivência ao câncer.

ABSTRACT Objective To unveil the existential movement of being a woman survivor of breast cancer. Method Qualitative, phenomenological, with Heideggerian analytics from 15 interviews, between October2020 and January2021 in a teaching hospital in Minas Gerais. The construction of seven Meaning Units was followed by comprehensive methodical moments. Results The being-there-woman-survivor-of-breast-cancer showed itself in the ways of being of everyday life, occupied in manuality of tasks inside and outside the home, moved by impersonality and impropriety. The fear of death, gossip, curiosity and ambiguity were revealed that led to decadence, experienced in the world of treatment and follow-up, enabling being-with. The anguish that announced itself fleetingly was followed by the decadence that most of the time the presence remains. Conclusion The need to structure a specialized and interdisciplinary line of care is reinforced, in which care centered on active and qualified listening encompasses multidimensionality, envisioning women in aspects that permeate cancer survival.

RESUMEN Objetivo Develar el movimiento existencial de ser mujer sobreviviente de cáncer de mama. Métodos Cualitativa, fenomenológica, con analítica heideggeriana a partir de las entrevistas de 15 mujeres, entre Octubre/2020 a Enero/2021en un hospital de Minas Gerais. A la construcción de las siete Unidades de Significado le siguieron momentos comprensivos. Resultados El ser-ahí-mujer-sobreviviente-de-cáncer-de-mama se manifestó en los modos de ser de la vida cotidiana, ocupada en la manualidad, de que haceres dentro y fuera del hogar, impulsados por la impersonalidad y la impropiedad. Se revelaron el miedo a la muerte, las habladurías, la curiosidad y la ambigüedad que la llevaron a la decadencia, experimentada en el mundo del tratamiento y seguimiento, posibilitando el estar-con. A la angustia que se anunciaba fugazmente le siguió la decadencia que la mayor parte del tiempo permanece la presencia. Conclusiones Se refuerza la necesidad de estructurar una línea de atención especializada e interdisciplinaria, en la que la atención centrada en la escucha activa y calificada abarque la multidimensionalidad, vislumbrando a la mujer en los aspectos que permean la supervivencia al cáncer.

Resumo O artigo apresenta o projeto De Nosso Território Sabemos Nós, em duas comunidades das cidades serranas fluminenses que sofreram o desastre de 2011, com o objetivo da criação de dispositivo para comunicação on-line, associado à cartografia social, buscando pôr em diálogo gestão e cidadãos de maneira permanente e dinâmica. O dispositivo permite que as necessidades locais sejam visíveis para deliberação de políticas públicas. A constituição das Comunidades Ampliadas de Pesquisa, composta por moradores e suas associações, participantes da gestão municipal e pesquisadores em regime de ecologia dos saberes, se realizaram através de oficinas cartográficas. A identificação das vulnerabilidades e potencialidades das comunidades, o aflorar das memórias e conhecimentos locais permitem o fortalecimento da resiliência comunitária. Dessa forma, a valorização da experiência na elaboração das cartografias sociais faz emergir a autoconsciência do grupo. O processo de mapeamento demonstrou o quanto os territórios são desconhecidos para a gestão municipal e até mesmo para seus moradores.

Abstract The article presents the project “Of Our Territory, We Know” (De Nosso Território Sabemos Nós), carried out in two communities in the mountain cities of the state of Rio de Janeiro that suffered the 2011 disaster, aiming at creating a device for online communication, associated with social cartography, seeking to establish a dialogue between the city management and citizens in a permanent and dynamic way. The device allows local needs to be visible for the creation of public policies. The implementation of the Extended Research Communities (Comunidades Ampliadas de Pesquisa), consisting of residents and their associations, participants of the municipal management, and researchers in a regime of ecology of knowledges, took place through cartographic workshops. The identification of the vulnerabilities and potentials of the communities, the emergence of memories and local knowledges allow the strengthening of community resilience. Therefore, the appraisal of the experience in the creation of social cartographies brings out the group’s self-awareness. The mapping process demonstrated how unknown the territories are to the municipal management and even to their inhabitants.

ABSTRACT Objective Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a recognized risk factor for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The aims of this study were to investigate the prevalence and factors associated with NAFLD in women with PCOS and evaluate noninvasive indices of hepatic fibrosis in patients with PCOS and NAFLD. Subjects and methods Patients with PCOS (n = 87) and women without PCOS (n = 40; controls) were included. NAFLD was diagnosed by abdominal ultrasonography after exclusion of alcohol consumption and viral or autoimmune liver disease. Anthropometric, clinical and metabolic variables, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) index, lipid accumulation product (LAP), FIB-4 index, NAFLD score, and transient elastography (TE; FibroScan) were obtained in subsets of patients with PCOS and NAFLD. Results A total of 87 patients with PCOS were included (mean age: 34.4 ± 5.7 years, mean body mass index [BMI]: 34.7 ± 4.7 kg/m 2 ). NAFLD was present in 67 (77.0%) patients with PCOS versus 21 of 40 (52.5%) controls (p = 0.005). Women with PCOS and liver steatosis, compared with their NAFLD-free counterparts, had higher values of BMI, waist circumference, triglycerides, total cholesterol, alanine and aspartate aminotransferases, and γ-glutamyltransferase, along with higher frequencies of obesity, metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance. NAFLD was independently associated with waist circumference, serum triglycerides, and alanine aminotransferase levels. The FIB-4 index was not compatible with advanced fibrosis in any of the evaluated patients, while NAFLD score and TE were compatible with advanced liver fibrosis in 1 of 26 (3.8%) and 3 of 25 (12%) patients, respectively. Conclusion Women with PCOS had a high risk of NAFLD, and a combination of both was associated with central obesity, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. Noninvasive methods suggested low rates of severe hepatic fibrosis in Brazilian women with PCOS. Arch Endocrinol Metab. 2020;64(3):235-42

Resumen Introducción Los adolescentes representan una parte importante de la población con particularidades relacionadas con el estilo de vida, por lo que es necesario promover acciones que fomenten hábitos saludables. En esta perspectiva, comprender las subjetividades que influencian los comportamientos de salud típicos de la adolescencia se vuelve esencial para la salud y la atención de enfermería, ya que las opciones de autocuidado están marcadas de singularidades. Objetivo Exponer las subjetividades de los adolescentes sobre el autocuidado en el contexto de la promoción de la salud y la enfermería. Materiales y Métodos Enfoque de investigación fenomenológica heideggeriana con 17 adolescentes de una escuela pública en Minas Gerais realizada entre octubre y diciembre de 2016. El movimiento analítico hermenéutico permitió la aparición del fenómeno en estudio. Resultados Sobre el autocuidado, los adolescentes expresaron que van al médico sólo cuando se necesita; saben que tienen que cuidar su salud, pero no hacer ejercicio o comer de forma saludable y cuidar su salud ahora, sino porque en el futuro puede convertirse en un problema. De los participantes, el 68% reportó haber desarrollado actividad física durante las clases de educación física y el 30% informó haber consumido alcohol. Discusión y Conclusiones Al comprender las subjetividades de los adolescentes sobre el autocuidado, las enfermeras encuentran mayores elementos para realizar acciones de salud dirigidas a estimular comportamientos saludables que resultarán una mejor calidad de vida en el presente y a futuro.

Abstract Introduction Adolescents represent an important part of the population with lifestyle-related specificities, which is why actions to promote healthy habits are required. In this view, understanding the perceptions that influence typical adolescent health behaviors becomes essential for health and nursing care, considering that self-care decisions are marked by singularities. Objective To expose the perceptions of adolescents regarding self-care in the context of health promotion and nursing. Materials and Methods A Heideggerian phenomenological research approach with 17 adolescents from a public school in Minas Gerais was conducted between October and December 2016. The analytical hermeneutic movement allowed the appearance of the phenomenon under study. Results On self-care, adolescents expressed that they see a doctor only when needed; they know that they have to take care of their health, but not to exercise or eat healthy and take care of their health now, but because it may be an issue in the future. 68% of the participants reported being physically active during PE classes and 30% reported drinking alcohol. Discussion and Conclusions When understanding adolescents' perceptions on self-care, nurses find more elements to carry out health actions aimed at stimulating healthy behaviors that will lead to a better quality of life in the present and the future.

Resumo Introdução Os adolescentes representam parcela significativa da populaçãocom particularidades concernentes ao estilo de vida, tornando-se necessário promover ações que estimulem hábitos saudáveis. Nesta perspectiva, compreender as subjetividades que permeiam comportamentos de saúde típicos da adolescência torna-se essencial para o cuidado em saúde e de enfermagem, uma vez que as escolhas para o cuidado de si são permeadas por singularidades. Objetivo Desvelar sentidos do adolescente acerca do cuidado de si no contexto da promoção da saúde e da enfermagem. Materiais e Métodos Pesquisa de abordagem fenomenológica Heideggeriana com 17 adolescentes de uma escola pública em Minas Gerais realizada entre outubro/dezembro/2016. O movimento analítico-hermenêutico possibilitou a emersão do fenômeno em estudo. Resultados Acerca do cuidado de si, os adolescentes significaram: Ir ao médico só quando precisa, saber que tem que cuidar da saúde, mas não fazer exercício nem se alimentar de modo saudável eCuidar da saúde agora porque no futuro pode ter problema. Dos participantes, 68% afirmaram desenvolver atividade física durante as aulas de educação física e 30% afirmaram consumir álcool. Discussão e Conclusões Ao compreender as subjetividades do adolescente acerca do cuidado de si, o enfermeiro encontra maiores subsídios para realizar ações em saúde com vistas ao estímulo de comportamentos saudáveis que impactarão em melhor qualidade de vida no presente e futuro.

RESUMO O estado nutricional do paciente submetido ao transplante de células-tronco hematopoéticas é considerado fator de risco independente, podendo influenciar na qualidade de vida e na tolerância ao tratamento proposto. O comprometimento do estado nutricional durante o transplante de células-tronco hematopoéticas ocorre principalmente devido aos efeitos adversos decorrentes do condicionamento ao qual o paciente é submetido. Desta forma, a adequada avaliação nutricional e o acompanhamento durante o transplante de células-tronco hematopoéticas tornam-se imprescindíveis. Com o objetivo de salientar a importância do estado nutricional e da composição corporal durante o tratamento, bem como as principais características relacionadas à avaliação nutricional do paciente, o Consenso Brasileiro de Nutrição em Transplante de Células-Tronco Hematopoiéticas: Adulto foi elaborado visando uniformizar e atualizar a Terapia Nutricional nesta área. Com a participação de nutricionistas, nutrólogos e hematologistas de 15 centros brasileiros referências em transplante de células-tronco hematopoéticas

ABSTRACT The nutritional status of patients submitted to hematopoietic stem cell transplant is considered an independent risk factor, which may influence on quality of life and tolerance to the proposed treatment. The impairment of nutritional status during hematopoietic stem cell transplant occurs mainly due to the adverse effects resulting from conditioning to which the patient is subjected. Therefore, adequate nutritional evaluation and follow-up during hematopoietic stem cell transplant are essential. To emphasize the importance of nutritional status and body composition during treatment, as well as the main characteristics related to the nutritional assessment of the patient, the Brazilian Consensus on Nutrition in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant: Adults was prepared, aiming to standardize and update Nutritional Therapy in this area. Dietitians, nutrition physicians and hematologists from 15 Brazilian centers thar are references in hematopoietic stem cell transplant took part.

Objetivo Investigar déficits somatossensoriais no punho e mão ipsilesional em pacientes com acidente vascular encefálico (AVE) crônico e correlacionar esses déficits com disfunções sensório-motoras contralesional, testes funcionais, lateralidade e preferência manual.Métodos Cinquenta indivíduos (vinte e dois voluntários saudáveis e vinte e oito pacientes com AVE) foram submetidos à avaliação com monofilamentos de Semmes-Weinstein, Avaliação Fugl-Meyer (sensorial e motora), Avaliação Sensorial Nottingham em punhos e mãos, e testes funcionais.Resultados Vinte e cinco pacientes apresentaram alterações sensoriais no punho e mão contralateral ao AVE, e dezoito pacientes (64%) apresentaram déficits sensoriais no punho e mão ipsilesional. A perda sensorial ipsilesional mais significativa foi observada nos pacientes canhotos. Pacientes com lesão cerebral no hemisfério direito tiveram melhores pontuações para sensação tátil ipsilesional.Conclusões A redução da propriocepção consciente ipsilesional, da sensibilidade tátil e térmica foi encontrada em indivíduos com AVE. Lesão no hemisfério direito e indivíduos destros apresentaram melhores pontuações na sensação tátil ipsilesional.

Objective To investigate somatosensory deficits in the ipsilesional wrist and hand in chronic stroke patients and correlate these deficits with contralesional sensorimotor dysfunctions, functional testing, laterality and handedness.Methods Fifty subjects (twenty-two healthy volunteers and twenty-eight stroke patients) underwent evaluation with Semmes-Weinstein monofilaments, the sensory and motor Fugl-Meyer Assessment, the Nottingham Sensory Assessment in both wrists and hands and functional tests.Results Twenty-five patients had sensory changes in the wrist and hand contralateral to the stroke, and eighteen patients (64%) had sensory deficits in the ipsilesional wrist and hand. The most significant ipsilesional sensory loss was observed in the left-handed patients. We found that the patients with brain damage in the right hemisphere had better scores for ipsilesional tactile sensation.Conclusions A reduction in ipsilesional conscious proprioception, tactile or thermal sensation was found in stroke subjects. Right hemisphere damage and right-handed subjects had better scores in ipsilesional tactile sensation.

O estudo das propriedades termodinâmicas propor-ciona o conhecimento da afinidade do sorvente pela água e da espontaneidade do processo de sorção, sendo importante para projetar equipamentos de secagem. Este trabalho visou a determinar e avaliar as propriedades termodinâmicas, para diferentes teores de água de equilíbrio em grãos de milho, utilizando-se o método estático indireto. O experimento foi desenvolvido em Rio Verde (GO), utilizando-se grãos de milho da cultivar AG 7088, com teor inicial de água de 23,3% (base seca - b.s.), os quais foram submetidos a secagem (40ºC), até atingirem teor de água de 14,4% (b.s.). Concluiu-se que as propriedades termodinâmicas foram influenciadas pelo teor de água, o calor isostérico integral de dessorção aumentou com o decréscimo do teor de água de equilíbrio, o processo de dessorção do milho da cultivar AG 7088 foi controlado pela entalpia e a energia livre de Gibbs foi positiva para as temperaturas estudadas, com aumento ao longo do processo de dessorção, demonstrando ser um processo não espontâneo.

The study of thermodynamic properties provides knowledge on the sorbent affinity for water and spontaneity of the sorption process, being important to design drying equipments. This study aimed at determining and evaluating the thermodynamic properties of different equilibrium moisture contents in maize grains, by using the indirect static method. The experiment was conducted in Rio Verde, Goiás State, Brazil, with maize grains (AG 7088 cultivar) presenting an initial moisture content of 23.3% (dry basis - d.b.), which were dried (40ºC) to achieve the moisture content of 14.4% (d.b.). It was observed that the thermodynamic properties were influenced by moisture content, the integral isosteric heat of desorption increased with the decrease in the equilibrium moisture content, the desorption process of the AG 7088 maize cultivar was controlled by enthalpy and the Gibbs free energy was positive for the temperatures evaluated, increasing along the desorption process, showing to be a non-spontaneous process.
