Leachate from a composting plant was characterized and applied as a biofertilizer in lettuce crops. Characteristics of untreated (UE) and anaerobically treated (TE) leachate samples were compared. The pH of TE (8.2) increased in relation to the UE (5.2) due to an increase in ammonia nitrogen in TE (1197 mg L-1) compared to UE (859 mg L-1). Anaerobic treatment was efficient in the removal of organic matter from the leachate, evaluated by the decrease of dissolved organic carbon, biochemical oxygen demand, total organic carbon and total solids. K presented the highest concentration (1743 mg L-1) in TE, followed by Mg (135 mg L-1). Cd, Pb and Cr were present at low concentrations in the samples, 0.047, 0.206 and 0.081 mg L-1, respectively. Salmonella, thermotolerant coliforms and viable helminth eggs were not present in TE, which was applied as a biofertilizer in a lettuce crop and compared to mineral fertilization based on fresh matter and dry matter production. ABSTRACT Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that compromises communication and social skills. This study aimed to analyze the educational resources used by technical and higher education professionals who deal with students with ASD. This review was registered in PROSPERO CRD42020212986 and followed the recommendations of the Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research (SRQR) checklist. In this work, cellulose-based composite biofilms doped with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have been produced by eco-friendly process. The AgNPs were synthesized from Ilex paraguariensis with an average size of 45 nm, a characteristic plasmon band at 450 nm and zeta potential of -23 mV. The biofilm has been synthesized by casting method, using different volumes of AgNPs suspension with glycerol plasticizing agent (T6-T10) or not (T1-T5). The AgNPs were successfully incorporated into the biofilms, which was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. The mechanical and optical structural and the antimicrobial properties of the biofilms have been determined. In the presence of AgNPs, the mechanical properties, thermal stability and water vapor barrier of the biofilms have not been altered. However, the addition of glycerol decreased the tensile strength and the modulus of elasticity, in addition to increasing the elongation of the biofilms and the water vapor barrier. The biofilm T10 showed a transmittance of ca. 10%, with high potential to be used as a UV light blocker. Resumo: Introdução: Devido à alta taxa de contaminação do SARS-Cov-2 e ao surgimento de um grande número de casos, autoridades locais decretaram o fechamento de universidades e escolas, demandando a implementação de soluções inovadoras para a continuidade das atividades acadêmicas. Objetivo: O objetivo do presente estudo é avaliar o impacto e nível de satisfação do modelo de ensino teórico à distância de anestesiologia em alunos de graduação como método alternativo ao ensino presencial em virtude das dificuldades impostas pela pandemia. Metodologia: O método utilizado consistiu na realização de aulas online ministradas por professor especialista através da plataforma Microsoft Teams. O nível de conhecimento dos participantes foi avaliado por meio da aplicação de questionários antes e após cada módulo do curso. Resultados: Um total de 812 questionários foram preenchidos, tendo sido constatado um aumento significativo de 41,61% na média de acertos geral (3,94 vs 5,57; p < 0,001). Abstract: Introduction: Due to the high contamination rate and number of cases of the SARS-Cov-2, local authorities decreed the closure of universities and schools, which has forced these institutions to come up with innovative solutions for the continuation of their activities. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess both the impact and level of satisfaction amongst undergraduate students of the online teaching of theoretical anesthesiology as an alternative method to the face-to-face teaching as the latter is currently impaired by the difficulties imposed by the pandemic. Methodology: The teaching method chosen consisted of conducting online classes taught by a specialist using the Microsoft Teams platform. The level of knowledge of the participants was assessed through the application of questionnaires before and after each term of the course. Results: A total of 812 questionnaires were completed, with a significant increase of 41.61% in the average of correct answers (3.94 vs 5.57; p <0.001). Abstract This integrative literature review identifies the forms of vulnerabilities experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender individuals and as well as those of other identities in Brazil. Resumo O conhecimento local sobre peixes é importante para reconhecer espécies e contribui para estratégias de conservação e manejo. Nosso objetivo foi fornecer informações diagnósticas para a rápida identificação das espécies de Mugilidae da região da Reserva Extrativista Marinha Caeté Taperaçu (PA), Norte do Brasil. Um total de 28 pescadores foi entrevistado por meio de questionários semiestruturados. A maioria dos entrevistados vive na sua aldeia residente desde o nascimento e está envolvida na pesca artesanal há pelo menos 12 anos. Oito táxons populares genéricos foram identificados por esses pescadores, incluindo ‘tainha’, que era o nome vernacular mais usado para definir o gênero Mugil. Cada espécie científica tinha pelo menos dois táxons genéricos populares e uma espécie. Mugil curema, M. rubrioculus e M. trichodon foram todos incluídos na mesma etnoespécie, ‘tainha chata’. Abstract Fish local knowledge is important to recognize species and contribute to conservation and management strategies. Thus, our aim was to provide diagnostic information for the rapid identification of Mugilidae species in Caeté-Taperaçu Extractive Reserve in Bragança (PA) in northern Brazil. A total of 28 fishers were interviewed using semi-structured questionnaires. Most of the interviewees have lived in their resident village since birth and have been involved in artisanal fishers for at least 12 years. Eight generic folk taxa were identified, including ‘tainha’, which was the vernacular name most used to define the Mugil genus. Each scientific species had at least two folk generic taxa and one species. Mugil curema, M. rubrioculus, and M. trichodon were all included in the same ethnospecies, ‘tainha chata’. Most of the scientific species were referred to at least once as the ethnospecies ‘caica’, this name was applied most often to Mugil brevirostris, which is the smallest species found in northern Brazil. The principal characteristics used by the fishers were morphological traits, however, some behavioral characteristics were also taken into account. Resumo: Objetivo A variabilidade na densidade e diversidade de espécies de crustáceos decápodes foi investigada em quatro ilhas com diferentes graus de perturbação antropogênica em torno da cidade de Belém, Estado do Pará. Métodos Foram obtidas amostras de 15 canais de maré utilizando armadilhas artesanais, a cada três meses, entre outubro de 2013 e maio de 2014 nas ilhas Combu, Onças, Cotijuba e Mosqueiro. Resultados A salinidade e a temperatura variaram pouco, o que é comum em um estuário amazônico tropical fortemente influenciado pelo influxo de água doce. Foram capturados um total de 8.367 decápodes, com um registro de uma espécie exótica, Penaeus monodon. Em todas as estações, a densidade e riqueza de decápodes aumentou de Combu para Mosqueiro, com a crescente proximidade do mar e maior salinidade e pH. Com exceção de Combu, a riqueza de espécies e diversidade de Margalef tendeu a ser ligeiramente maior na estação chuvosa em todas as ilhas, especialmente em Onças. A Equitabilidade e a diversidade de Shannon foram semelhantes entre as estações, mas eram mais baixas em Onças na estação seca e mais alta em Combu, diminuindo para Mosqueiro na estação chuvosa. Em geral, os índices ecológicos são semelhantes na estação seca e na transição da seca para a estação chuvosa, na estação chuvosa a dominância ocorre na Ilha de Mosqueiro. M. acanthurus, C. bocourti e P. gracillis foram associadas à estação das chuvas, enquanto que M. surinamicum prefere a estação seca. M. amazonicum e Macrobrachium sp. não têm um padrão de ocorrência sazonal definido em todas as ilhas. Conclusões Apesar das perturbações antropogênicas e da proximidade a grandes populações humanas, especialmente na Ilha do Mosqueiro, a densidade e diversidade de crustáceos decápodes parecem ser razoavelmente não afetadas no momento.

Abstract: Aim The variability in density and species diversity of decapod crustaceans was investigated on four islands with different degrees of anthropogenic disturbance around the city of Belém, State of Pará. Methods Samples were obtained from 15 creeks using artisanal traps, every three months between October 2013 and May 2014 on Combu, Onças, Cotijuba and Mosqueiro islands. Results Salinity and temperature little varied, which is common for a tropical Amazon estuary strongly influenced by freshwater inflow. A total of 8,367 decapods were captured, with one record of an exotic species Penaeus monodon. In all seasons, decapod density and richness tended to increase from Combu to Mosqueiro, with increasing proximity to the sea and higher salinity and pH. Except for Combu, species richness and Margalef diversity tended to be slightly greater in the wet season at all islands, especially Onças. Eveness and Shannon diversity did not vary greatly between seasons but were lowest at Onças in the dry season and highest at Combu, decreasing to Mosqueiro, in the wet season. In general, ecological indices are similar in the dry and transition dry to wet seasons, and in the wet season, dominance occurs at Mosqueiro Island. Macrobrachium acanthurus, C. bocourti and P. gracillis were associated with the wet season, whereas M. surinamicum prefers the dry season. M. amazonicum and Macrobrachium sp. have no well-defined seasonal pattern of occurrence at all the islands. Conclusions Despite anthropogenic disturbances and proximity to large human populations, especially on Mosqueiro Island, the density and diversity of decapod crustaceans appear to be reasonably unaffected for the moment.

Results: The Anjos da Guarda Project develops medical professionalism, empathy and the fundamentals of medicine centered on the patient as part of the care process, without underestimating the importance of biotechnoscientific knowledge and clinical reasoning. Conclusion: The experience enabled gains in learning for students, in addition to contributing to the health system and benefiting the patients involved.

RESUMO Objetivo: Avaliar o efeito das intervenções educativas sobre a autoeficácia materna na prevenção da diarreia infantil em mães de crianças menores de 5 anos. Métodos: Ensaio clínico básico randomizado envolvendo 280 mães de crianças menores de 5 anos de idade. Resultados: Houve um aumento estatisticamente significante nas notas de autoeficácia materna após a aplicação do vídeo (p= 0,026), livreto (p <0,001) e vídeo e livreto (p <0,001). Conclusão: O uso combinado de vídeo e livreto provou ser mais eficaz na promoção da autoeficácia do que o uso isolado. Assim, as intervenções utilizadas neste estudo demonstraram aumentar significantemente a autoeficácia materna na prevenção da diarreia infantil, portanto podem ser utilizadas pelos profissionais de saúde como ferramentas eficazes.

ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate the effect of educational interventions on maternal self-efficacy in preventing childhood diarrhea in mothers of children younger than five years old. Methods: Basic randomized clinical trial involving 280 mothers of children under five years old. Results: There was a statistically significant increase in maternal self-efficacy scores after the application of the video (p= 0.026), booklet (p <0.001) and video and booklet (p <0.001). Conclusion: The combined use of video and booklet proved to be more effective in promoting self-efficacy than the isolated use. Thus, the interventions used in this study have been shown to significantly increase maternal self-efficacy in preventing childhood diarrhea and, therefore, can be used by health professionals as effective tools.

RESUMEN Objetivo: evaluar el efecto de las intervenciones educativas sobre la autoeficacia materna en la prevención de la diarrea infantil en madres de niños menores de cinco años. Métodos: Ensayo clínico aleatorizado básico con 280 madres de niños menores de cinco años. Resultados: hubo un aumento estadísticamente significativo en los puntajes de autoeficacia materna después de la aplicación de las intervenciones. Abstract The present study aims to investigate the variability of catches by trawling fleet vessels licensed to operate under the ‘diverse fish’ license in relation to the depth gradient and the hydrological cycle of the Amazon River. For this purpose, vessels operating in this category were accompanied by on-board observers on the inner Amazon shelf, during January, April and July 2013 and in April, May, August and September 2014. A total of 115,505 kg of fish was harvested, distributed among 22 species. The flood period was the most representative, with a total of 43,122 kg, followed by the ebb period (28,749 kg), the rainy period (23,171 kg) and the dry period (20,424 kg). Kingfish (Macrodon ancylodon) was the most abundant fish in all seasons (79.7%). Significant differences were observed in fish composition in relation to the depth gradient and hydrodynamics of the Amazon River, with higher richness and diversity (Margalef index) during flood periods and at greater depths throughout the study period. We also observed a significant interaction between river flow and depth category, with more diversified fish fauna attributed to ebbs and floods in shallow and deep waters at the mouth of the Amazon River. Considering that the license for ‘diverse fish’ was established as an alternative to fishing for marine shrimp in closed season, the need for effective monitoring of this fishing system is reiterated for an efficient assessment of the impacts in the fish community structure.

RESUMO Objetivo: validar indicadores e parâmetros para a construção de um instrumento de avaliação do Programa de Conservação Auditiva. Métodos: pesquisa metodológica de validação de conteúdo e aparência de indicadores para avaliação do Programa de Conservação Auditiva mediante aplicação do método Delphi, bem como a validação semântica de um instrumento de avaliação do programa seguindo os procedimentos adotados pelo grupo europeu DISABKIDS. Participaram do estudo 20 fonoaudiólogos, os quais responderam a questionários de validação. As respostas foram tabuladas e analisadas considerando dados estatísticos descritivos, pelo estabelecimento dos índices de validade de conteúdo por Item (I- IVC), de validade de conteúdo por nível de escala (S-IVC), de nível percentual de concordância absoluta e Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: dos 64 itens submetidos à validação, dois não foram considerados pertinentes. O conjunto de itens foi considerado representativo. Os indicadores e parâmetros validados subsidiaram a construção de um instrumento para avaliação do grau de implantação do Programa de Conservação Auditiva, o qual se apresentou válido semanticamente. Conclusão: os indicadores foram validados de modo a atender e representar as funções de qualidade, controle e acompanhamento do Programa de Conservação Auditiva, auxiliando os gestores no exercer de suas funções e subsidiando a construção de instrumentos avaliativos.

ABSTRACT Purpose: to validate indicators and parameters to construct an assessment instrument for the Hearing Conservation Program. Methods: methodological research to validate the content and layout of indicators to assess the Hearing Conservation Program, using the Delphi method, as well as the semantic validation of an assessment instrument for the program, in compliance with the procedures used by the European group DISABKIDS. A total of 20 speech-language-hearing therapists participated in the study, answering validation questionnaires. The answers were tabulated and analyzed considering descriptive statistical data, establishing the item content validity index, the scale content validity index, the percentage of absolute agreement, and the content analysis. Results: of the 64 items submitted for validation, two were not considered appropriate. The set of items was considered representative. The validated indicators and parameters provided the means to construct an assessment instrument of the degree of implementation of the Hearing Conservation Program, which proved to be semantically valid. Conclusion: the indicators were validated to meet and represent the functions of quality, control, and follow-up of the Hearing Conservation Program, aiding administrators to carry out their responsibilities and making it possible to construct evaluative instruments.
