RESUMO Objetivo desenvolver a etapa de validade baseada nos processos de resposta do Protocolo de Análise Espectrográfica da Voz (PAEV). Métodos foram recrutados dez fonoaudiólogos e dez alunos de graduação em Fonoaudiologia, que aplicaram o PAEV em dez espectrogramas, realizaram o julgamento dos itens do PAEV e participaram de uma entrevista cognitiva. A partir das respostas, o PAEV foi reanalisado para reformulação ou para exclusão de itens. Utilizou-se o teste Qui-Quadrado e os valores de acurácia para análise das respostas dos questionários, assim como análise qualitativa dos dados da entrevista cognitiva. Resultados os participantes obtiveram acurácia maior que 70% na maioria dos itens do PAE. Apenas sete itens alcançaram acurácia menor ou igual a 70%. Houve diferença entre as respostas de presença versus ausência de dificuldade na identificação dos itens no espectrograma. A maioria dos participantes não teve dificuldade na identificação dos itens do PAEV. Na entrevista cognitiva, apenas seis itens não obtiveram correta identificação da intenção, conforme verificado na análise qualitativa. Além disso, os participantes sugeriram exclusão de cinco itens. Conclusão após a etapa de validação baseada nos processos de resposta, o PAEV foi reformulado. Sete itens foram excluídos e dois itens foram reformulados. ABSTRACT Purpose To develop the validity step based on the response processes of the Spectrographic Analysis Protocol (SAP). Methods 10 speech therapists and 10 undergraduate students of the Speech Therapy course were recruited, who applied the SAP in 10 spectrograms, performed the evaluation of the PAE items, and participated in a cognitive interview (CI). The SAP was reanalyzed to reformulate or exclude items based on the responses. The chi-square test and the accuracy values were used to analyze the answers to the questionnaires and qualitative analysis of the CI data. Results the participants achieved accuracy > 70% in most items of the SAP. Only seven items achieved accuracy ≤ 70%. There was a difference between presence vs. absence of difficulty in identifying items in the spectrogram. Most participants had no problem identifying the SAP items. ABSTRACT Objective To analyze the relationship between microcephaly and social inequality indicators in the state of Paraíba during the biennium January 2015 and December 2016. Methods Ecological study with data from newborn microcephaly records and municipal socioeconomic, environmental, and demographic indicators was conducted using two health information systems from the Brazilian Ministry of Health (SINASC and SINAN) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. A Poisson multiple regression model was applied with a significance level of 5%. Results Among 223 municipalities in Paraíba, 74 registered new cases of microcephaly. The number of Zika virus cases, number of inhabitants, number of households without adequate water supply, and household income were predictor variables of the number of new cases of microcephaly in Paraíba. Conclusion Microcephaly is associated with indicators of social inequality in Paraíba. Zika virus cases, water supply, and family income are the indicators that best explain the increase in microcephaly cases. Abstract Objective: To analyze the distribution of childhood cancer in Brazil and the time between the diagnosis and the start of treatment, according to hospital-based cancer registries (2010-2016). Material and Methods: This was an observational descriptive study using secondary data (36,187 records) from hospital databases of the National Cancer Institute (INCA) and the Onco-center Foundation of São Paulo (FOSP). Epidemiological data were obtained, and compliance with Federal Law 12,732/12 was verified, which establishes a maximum period of 60 days to start cancer therapy after the diagnosis. Absolute and percent frequencies, central tendency and dispersion measures, and the coefficient of prevalence of childhood cancer were calculated. Results: The mean age of the pediatric patients was 9.3 years (± 6.2); 54.1% (n=19,586) of them were males; 32.0% (n=11,440) were aged 0 to 4 years; and 43.4% (n=11,338) had a self-reported mixed-race skin color. The Southeast region of Brazil accounted for 40.2% (n=14,564) of the cases, of which 63.0% (n=9,178) corresponded to solid neoplasms, as opposed to the North region, where hematological neoplasms prevailed (53.9%, n=1,535). Most registered patients aged 0 to 19 years were treated in 60 days or less (77%, n=27,929). However, for 24.0% (n = 2,207) of adolescents (15 to 19 years) this time was more than 60 days after the diagnosis. Conclusion: The characteristics related to childhood cancer varied across the Brazilian geographic regions, and most patients were properly treated within the time enforced by law.

RESUMO Objetivou-se neste trabalho estimar o crescimento em altura de clones de Eucalyptus usando o modelo de Chapman-Richards, considerando para os erros as distribuições: normal, t de Student (t) e Cauchy. Foram utilizados dados de clones de híbrido entre Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus tereticornis x Eucalyptus pellita (polinização controlada), do Módulo de Experimentação Florestal para o Polo Gesseiro do Araripe, implantado em 2002. Utilizaram-se 83 árvores cujas alturas foram medidas durante seis anos e meio. Os parâmetros do modelo de Chapman-Richards foram obtidos maximizando a função de log-verossimilhança. Para comparação dos modelos foram utilizados os critérios de informação de Akaike (CIA) e Bayesiana (CIB) e o erro percentual absoluto médio (EPAM). O modelo usando a distribuição t de Student com 2 graus de liberdade (t2) obteve menores valores de CIA e CIB enquanto que o modelo de Cauchy obteve menor valor para o EPAM. Os resultados indicam que o modelo, considerando distribuição t para os erros, apresentou melhores estimativas do crescimento em altura de clones híbrido de Eucalyptus no Polo Gesseiro de Pernambuco.

ABSTRACT The objective of this work was to estimate the height growth of Eucalyptus using the Chapman-Richards model considering for the errors the distributions normal, Student t (t) and Cauchy. The data set came from one hybrid clone of Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus tereticornis x E. pellita (controlled pollination), of the Forestry Experimental Module in the Gypsum Pole of Araripe, established in 2002. Eighty-three trees were used which heights were measured in all trees for six and half years. The parameters of the Chapman- Richards model were obtained maximizing the log-likelihood function. For comparison of the adjusted models were used the criteria of Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian (BIC) and the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). The model using the t distribution with 2 degrees of freedom (t2) had lower values of AIC and BIC and the model of Cauchy had lower value for MAPE. The results indicate that the model considering the t distribution for the errors presented best estimates of height growth of Eucalyptus hybrid clones in Gypsum Pole of Pernambuco.
