Resumo O artigo aborda a reforma do Ensino Médio brasileiro, promovida, em 2017, pelo Ministério da Educação do governo Temer. Nessa perspectiva são discutidos criticamente os interesses políticos e econômicos contemplados, as disputas ideológicas presentes, os objetivos oficiais apresentados, tanto quanto os não expressos e a estrutura dessa etapa da Educação Básica, conferindo-se especial atenção à flexibilização curricular e à concepção de qualidade da educação em que se baseia. São considerados também os desdobramentos da reforma para os professores, assim como as relações entre ela e as demais promovidas pelo governo Temer.

Abstract The article addresses the reform of Brazil’s high school carried out in 2017 by the Ministry of Education of the Temer administration. From this perspective, it provides a critical discussion of the political and economic interests involved, the ongoing ideological disputes, the official objectives presented (as well as the unexpressed ones) and the structure of this stage of Elementary Education, with special attention given to curricular flexibilization and the notion of quality education on which it is based. The article also considers the outcomes of the reform for teachers, as well as the relations between this reform and the others promoted by the Temer administration.

Este texto apresenta e discute a implantação da reforma da educação profissional de nível médio no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo (ifsp), focando as tensões que se produziram em função desse processo. Questiona-se por meio de pesquisa empírica se os Institutos Federais reúnem, na atualidade, as condições necessárias para o desenvolvimento da educação politécnica, na perspectiva marxiana, por intermédio do ensino técnico integrado ao ensino médio.

This paper presents and discusses the implementation of the reform of higher vocational education at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (ifsp) focusing on the tensions that arose during the process. Through an empirical research, it questions whether such Federal Institutes are still in a position to provide polytechnic education, such as conceived by Marx, by integrating vocational and academic courses.

Cet article présente et discute la mise en œuvre de la réforme de l'éducation professionnelle au lycée à l'Institut fédéral d'éducation, science et technologie de São Paulo (i.f.s.p.), en se centrant sur les tensions ayant surgi au long de ce processus. Une recherche empirique remet en question la capacité de ce type d'Instituts fédéraux, aujourd'hui, à dispenser un enseignement polytechnique dans une perspective marxiste, en intégrant l'enseignement technique et le lycée.

É desejável e necessário compreender historicamente a origem da concepção de politecnia associada à formação integrada, assim como da própria formação integrada, dois termos cuja polissemia pode conduzir a interpretações diversas e mesmo antagônicas. Tanto a concepção de politecnia quanto de formação integral aparecem na literatura ligadas à formação escolar, ainda que não se refiram exclusivamente a ela. O objetivo deste texto é duplo. Pretende, de um lado, situar ambas as concepções no universo teórico do materialismo histórico, ressalvando que, por não serem exclusivas deste universo, comparecem em outros, com diferentes significados. De outro lado, intenciona examinar, com algum detalhe, de que forma dois autores-chave - Marx e Gramsci - elaboram suas visões sobre as relações entre a educação e o trabalho mediadas pela concepção da politecnia e da formação integral e, de forma bastante breve, quais as aproximações e distanciamentos entre eles, relativamente a tal questão.

It is desirable and necessary to historically understand the origin of the polytechnic conception associated to the integrated education, as well as the very own integrated education, two terms whose polysemy may lead to different and even opposing interpretations. Both the polytechnic and the integral education conceptions can be found in literature connected to the school education, even if not exclusively referring to it. The purpose of this paper is twofold. On the one hand, it is intended to place both conceptions within the theoretical universe of the historical materialism, being pointed out that, as they are not exclusive from this universe, they can be found in other universes, with different meanings. On the other hand, it is intended to examine, in details, how two key authors - Marx and Gramsci - develop their views regarding the relationships between education and work mediated by the polytechnic conception and the integral education, and, in a very summarized manner, which are the similarities and differences between then, in regards to this issue.

Pretende-se abordar neste artigo a discussão sobre formação e conhecimento focalizando o tema nas reiteradas afirmações de que as sociedades atuais, em âmbito mundial, são "sociedades do conhecimento". Por essa razão, numa primeira parte será discutida essa formulação, assim como o conceito de "formação", para, em uma segunda, estabelecer-se a relação entre conhecimento e formação e desta com a educação escolar, em geral, e com a profissional, em particular.

This article approaches the discussion on education and knowledge focusing on the subject of the reiterated statement that present societies are "knowledge societies" on the world level. Thus, the first part of the text discusses this formulation, as well as the concept of "education", and its second part establishes the relationship between both of them, as well as the relationship between "education", school education in general and professional education in particular.
