Resumen Este texto presenta la edición temática sobre interpretaciones sociológicas del trabajo decente en la economía social y solidaria. En la primera parte se exponen diferentes corrientes teóricas interpretativas sobre el trabajo en la modernidad para contextualizar el concepto de trabajo decente lanzado por la Organización Internacional del Trabajo. Posteriormente, el análisis de la interfaz entre la economía social y solidaria y el trabajo decente como campo de estudio se desarrolla a partir de una investigación bibliométrica. Abstract This text presents the thematic issue that approaches the sociological interpretations of decent work in the social and solidarity economy (SSE). The first part presents different interpretative theoretical currents about work in modernity and contextualizes the concept of decent work launched by the International Labor Organization. Este artigo realiza uma contraposição entre algumas obras de Karl Marx com o livro A Condição Humana de Hannah Arendt. O objetivo deste confronto foi efetuar uma investigação acerca do tratamento dado pela autora à categoria trabalho frente àquele que fora adotado por Marx. Para isso, foi efetuado um estudo teórico-analítico da abordagem conceitual que esses autores desenvolveram em seus respectivos textos. Nossa conclusão é que a autora não compreendeu a dupla dimensão - filosófica e econômica - que Marx deu à categoria trabalho. Contudo, Arendt trouxe novos argumentos para a discussão sobre a importância do trabalho no mundo moderno.

This article contrasts some works by Karl Marx with Hannah Arendt's The Human Condition. This comparison aims at examining Arendt's approach to the category labor in contrast to that adopted by Marx. To this end, a theoretical-analytical study was conducted on the conceptual treatment given by these authors to the category in their respective works. The study allowed to conclude that Arendt did not fully comprehend the double dimension - philosophic and economic - given by Marx to the category labor. Nevertheless, she brought new arguments to the debate about the importance of work in the modern world.

The social protection between the light and the shadow.
