Resumo: Depois da Ocultação, aquele momento em que o messias xiita desapareceu, o xiismo se dividiu em duas tendências: a tradicional-quietista e a racionalista-política. Essas duas tendências coexistiram durante séculos; só muito recentemente seu equilíbrio foi inclinado para o lado racionalista-político, o que provocou (principalmente) a revolução Khomeinista no Irã. Este artigo procura explorar o modo do vínculo social no Islã xiita a partir de uma perspectiva psicanalítica, em termos de suas práticas místicas originais, bem como das consequências políticas e religiosas do declínio do discurso tradicionalista e da emergência política da figura do “jurista-teólogo”, com seu corolário, o Adversário.

ABSTRACT: After the Occultation, the moment when the shiites’ messiah disappeared, Shiism broke into two tendencies: the traditional-quietist and the rationalist-political. These two tendencies coexisted for centuries; only quite recently has their balance tilted towards the rationalist-political side, which brought about (principally) the Khomeini revolution in Iran. This article seeks to explore the mode of the social ties in Shia Islam from a psychoanalytic perspective, in terms of its original mystical practices as well as of the political and religious consequences of the decline of traditionalist discourse and the political emergence of “jurist-theologian” with its corollary, the Adversary.

A pesquisa em psicanálise pertence a uma nova etapa da ciência moderna: no campo da matemática, admitindo que ela seja consistente, concluiu-se que existem proposições verdadeiras que não são demonstráveis, revelando a incompletude do sistema. Isso teve efeitos sobre as várias áreas do saber. É nesse contexto que Lacan se empenha em formalizar o discurso analítico e produzir os matemas suscetíveis de indexar o real em jogo na experiência psicanalítica.

Research in Psychoanalysis belongs to a new stage in modern Science: within the limits of the Mathematics’ field, being it consistent, it has been concluded that there are veritable propositions that cannot be demonstrated, which reveals the incompletude of the system. This discovery has had effects upon many areas of knowledge. It is in this context that Lacan attempted to formalize the analytical discourse and to produce the matemas, which were susceptible of indexing the Real proper to psychoanalytical experience.

La recherche clinique en psychanalyse appartient à une nouvelle étape de la science moderne: au champ des mathématiques, admettant qu'elles soient consistantes, on a conclu qu'il y a des propositions vraies qui ne peuvent pas être démontrées, ce qui a produit des effets sur les domaines divers du savoir. C'est dans ce contexte que Lacan s'efforce de formaliser le discours analytique et de produire les mathèmes susceptibles d'indexer le réel en jeu dans l'expérience psychanalytique.

Longe de confinar-se no inefável, a psicanálise, depois de Lacan e graças a ele, não hesita em se explicar sobre a lógica de seu discurso: ela demonstra que, mesmo se distinguindo da ciência, se esforça para alcançar um rigor digno desta última. Isso deriva do fato de que ela traz a marca do sujeito que a enuncia. A ironia é um dos índices do encontro do sujeito com o ponto pelo qual se demonstra que não existe saber que reduza o sujeito a um de seus enunciados.

Far from being attained to the indescribable, the phychoanalysis, after and thanks to Lacan, do not hesitate in explaining itself based upon the logic of its discourse: it demonstrates that even being so distinctive from science, it makes an effort to be as rigorous as this one. This derives from the fact that it brings upon itself the trace of its subject. Irony is one of the indicators of the subject’s meeting with knowing that there isn’t knowledge that reduces the subject to one of its statements.
