Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é identificar os obstáculos enfrentados pelas pessoas da diversidade afetivo-sexual em relação ao exercício da maternidade/paternidade. Utilizamos o método biográfico, a partir de uma abordagem interseccional, em um processo investigativo dialógico-recursivo. Nós entrevistamos nove informantes-chave pertencentes à academia, à psicoterapia, à política e ao ativismo. Constatamos que existem obstáculos nos campos: simbólico, institucional e factual, os quais se (re)produzem e afetam recursivamente. Concluímos que os obstáculos relacionados ao exercício da parentalidade das pessoas da diversidade afetivo-sexual geram autolimitações afetivas associadas à (im)possibilidade deles se verem como potenciais mães/pais baseados no contexto social hostil que encaram.
Abstract: This article´s objective is to identify the obstacles faced by LGBT people in the exercise of parenting. We used the biographical method, from an intersectional approach, in a dialogical and recursive investigative process. Nine interviews were conducted with key informants from academia, psychotherapy, politics, and activism. We found obstacles at symbolic, institutional, and factual levels, which (re)produced and influence each other. We conclude obstacles related to the exercise of motherhood/fatherhood from LGBT people generates emotional self-limitations associated with the (im)possibility of thinking themselves as a potential mother/father based on the hostile social context they face.
Resumen: El objetivo del presente artículo es identificar los obstáculos que enfrentan las personas de la diversidad sexoafectiva respecto del ejercicio de la maternidad/paternidad. Utilizamos el método biográfico, desde un abordaje interseccional, en un proceso investigativo dialógico-recursivo. Realizamos entrevistas a nueve informantes clave pertenecientes a la academia, la psicoterapia, la política y el activismo. Encontramos que existen obstáculos en los ámbitos: simbólico, institucional y fáctico, que se (re)producen y afectan recursivamente. Concluimos que los obstáculos relacionados con el ejercicio de la parentalidad desde la diversidad sexoafectiva generan autolimitaciones afectivas asociadas a la (im)posibilidad de pensarse como potencial madre/padre basadas en el contexto social hostil que enfrentan.
