RESUMO O conhecimento da variabilidade espacial dos atributos físicos e químicos do solo é útil para o uso racional de insumos, como na aplicação localizada de corretivos e fertilizantes. Objetivou-se, nesta pesquisa, avaliar a variabilidade espacial dos índices de vegetação e atributos físicos e químicos do solo em um sistema de integração lavoura-pecuário (ILP). Uma área de 6,9 ha foi amostrada com grade regular hexagonal na profundidade de 0-0,20 m. Os valores no solo de P, K, Ca, Mg, e CTC, saturação por bases, argila e areia foram analisados. A condutividade elétrica aparente do solo (CEa) foi medida com um sensor de contato. O talhão foi avaliado no final do ciclo do milho (abril) e para a produção de pastagem (outubro) por imagens do satélite Landsat 5, utilizando-se técnicas de sensoriamento remoto e sistemas de informação geográfica (SIG). Os resultados mostraram que o índice de vegetação por diferença normalizada (NDVI) foi associado à CEa e aos parâmetros de solo indicando as variações da cultura do milho e pastagem em sistema ILP. A geoestatística e o SIG foram ferramentas eficazes para unir os dados de variabilidade espacial do solo e da cultura, indicar as tendências dos resultados e interpretar a informação para apoiar estratégias de manejo adequadas.

ABSTRACT The knowledge of soil property spatial variability is useful for determining the rational use of inputs, such as the site-specific application of lime and fertilizer. The objective of this study was to evaluate the vegetation index and spatial variability of physical and chemical soil properties in an integrated crop-livestock system (ICLS). Soil samples were taken from a 6.9 ha area in a regular hexagon grid at 0-0.20 m depths. Soil P, K, Ca, Mg, and cation exchange capacity - CEC; base saturation; clay and sand were analyzed. Soil electrical conductivity (ECa) was measured with a contact sensor. The site was evaluated at the end of the corn season (April) and during forage production (October) using Landsat 5 images, remote sensing techniques and a geographic information system (GIS). Results showed that the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) was associated with ECa and soil parameters, indicating crop and pasture variations in the ICLS. Geostatistics and GIS were effective tools for collecting data regarding the spatial variability of soil and crop indicators, identifying variation trends in the data, and assisting data interpretation to determine adequate management strategies.

O conhecimento da variabilidade espacial das propriedades do solo e das culturas é importante para as tomadas de decisão sobre o manejo agrícola. Objetivou-se, neste trabalho, avaliar a variabilidade espacial de parâmetros químicos e físicos do solo e biofísicos de superfície de área cultivada com sorgo. O estudo foi conduzido em área de 12 ha de um Argissolo Vermelho Amarelo distrófico. A amostragem de solo georreferenciada e a medição da condutividade elétrica do solo foram realizadas antes do plantio do sorgo. As imagens do satélite Landsat 5 foram utilizadas para calcular os parâmetros biofísicos de superfície. Ferramentas de geoestatística foram utilizadas para se determinar e modelar a variabilidade espacial dos atributos em estudo em que os resultados mostraram que a densidade de amostragem adotada foi insuficiente para uma caracterização adequada da variabilidade espacial de parâmetros do solo. Ocorreu dependência espacial de grau, moderada a forte para CE e parâmetros biofísicos da superfície da imagem de satélite com alcances variando de 74,4 a 181,1 m; por outro lado, o sensoriamento remoto orbital também foi útil para o mapeamento da variabilidade espacial da cultura do sorgo e tem grande potencial para aplicação da Agricultura de Precisão.

The knowledge of spatial variability of soil and crop properties is useful for agricultural management decision making. The objective of this research was to evaluate the spatial variability of soil chemical and physical parameters and biophysical surface parameters of sorghum crop. The study was conducted in an area of 12 ha of a Typic Paleudult. Georrefered soil sampling and electrical conductivity (EC) of soil were conducted before sowing of sorghum. Landsat 5 imageries were used to establish the biophysical surface parameters. Geostatistics tool were used to determine and model the spatial variability of the attributes under study. Sampling density adopted was insufficient for an adequate characterization of the spatial variability of soil parameters. There was spatial dependence from moderate to strong degree for EC biophysical parameters with ranges varying from 74.4 to 181.1 m. Remote sensing was useful to show spatial variability of sorghum crop and has a great potential for the application of precision agriculture.

Parâmetros, como tolerância, escala e agilidade empregados na amostragem de dados para uso em Agricultura de Precisão, exigem um expressivo número de pesquisas no desenvolvimento de instrumentos e técnicas para automação. Destacam-se a utilização de metodologias em sensoriamento remoto utilizadas em conjunto com o Sistema de Informação Geográfica (SIG), adaptados ou desenvolvidos para o uso agrícola. Visando a isso, a aplicação de Robôs Agrícolas Móveis é uma forte tendência, principalmente na União Europeia, EUA e Japão. No Brasil, pesquisas são necessárias para o desenvolvimento de plataformas robóticas, que sirvam de base para sistemas de navegação autônomos ou semiautônomos. O objetivo deste trabalho é descrever o projeto de uma plataforma experimental para a aquisição de dados em campo para o estudo da variabilidade espacial e desenvolvimento de tecnologias para operação de robôs em ambiente agrícola. A proposta baseia-se em uma sistematização de trabalhos científicos que norteiam a escolha dos parâmetros de projeto utilizados para a construção do modelo. O estudo cinemático da estrutura mecânica foi feito pelo processo de prototipagem virtual, baseado na modelagem e simulação das tensões aplicadas no chassi, utilizando o método dos elementos finitos, em função dos conceitos básicos de cinemática de robôs móveis e experiências em trabalhos anteriores.

Parameters such as tolerance, scale and agility utilized in data sampling for using in Precision Agriculture required an expressive number of researches and development of techniques and instruments for automation. It is highlighted the employment of methodologies in remote sensing used in coupled to a Geographic Information System (GIS), adapted or developed for agricultural use. Aiming this, the application of Agricultural Mobile Robots is a strong tendency, mainly in the European Union, the USA and Japan. In Brazil, researches are necessary for the development of robotics platforms, serving as a basis for semi-autonomous and autonomous navigation systems. The aim of this work is to describe the project of an experimental platform for data acquisition in field for the study of the spatial variability and development of agricultural robotics technologies to operate in agricultural environments. A current trend in distributed control systems is the application of communication networktechnologies such as CAN - Controller Area Network. A recent utilization approach ofthese technologies is the networked control systems (NCS). The fundamental challenges inthe development of NCS are the analysis of the network delay effects and the prediction of the timing behavior of the distributed control system. The common parameters that impact the performance of NCS include response time, network utilization and network delays induced by the communication of messages between the devices. In addition, the performance of a NCS is highly dependent on these messages sampling times. A significant emphasis has been put on development and application of methodologies to handle the network delay effect in these systems and improve their performances. This paper presents a detailed timing analysis and a mathematical model to calculate these network delays in CAN-based networks. With the results of this model, the application of a methodology is proposed to minimize the effects of these delays and to achieve the optimization (networkoperation and utilization) of a CAN-based network. A case study of a CAN-based distributed control system in a mobile robot is described to demonstrate the application of the optimization methodology and the utilization of the CAN mathematical model systemized.

Uma tendência atual na área agrícola é o desenvolvimento de robôs móveis e veículos autônomos para sensoriamento remoto. Um dos grandes desafios no projeto desses robôs é o desenvolvimento da arquitetura eletrônica para integração e controle dos dispositivos. Em aplicações recentes desses robôs tem-se utilizado arquiteturas distribuídas baseadas em redes de comunicação. Uma tecnologia amplamente usada como rede embarcada é o protocolo CAN. A implementação da norma ISO11783 representa a padronização do protocolo CAN para aplicações agrícolas. Este artigo apresenta o projeto e a implementação de uma arquitetura eletrônica para um robô agrícola móvel. As discussões são focadas na arquitetura desenvolvida, no sistema de comunicação sem fio para teleoperação e no controle distribuído através da rede CAN e da ISO11783. A avaliação dos sistemas é baseada na análise de parâmetros de desempenho como resposta dos motores e tempo de resposta da arquitetura, obtidos com a operação do robô. Os resultados mostram que a arquitetura desenvolvida pode ser aplicada para teleoperação e controle distribuído de robôs agrícolas cumprindo os requisitos para a obtenção de uma movimentação precisa e um tempo aceitável de resposta para comandos de controle e supervisão do robô.

A current trend in the agricultural area is the development of mobile robots and autonomous vehicles for remote sensing. One of the major challenges in the design of these robots is the development of the electronic architecture for the integration and control of the devices. Recent applications of mobile robots have used distributed architectures based on communication networks. A technology that has been widely used as an embedded network is the CAN protocol. The implementation of the ISO11783 standard represents the standardization of the CAN for application in agricultural machinery. This work describes the design and implementation of an electronic architecture for a mobile agricultural robot. The discussions are focused on the developed architecture, the wireless communication system for teleoperation and the distributed control based on CAN protocol and ISO11783. The evaluation of the developed system was based on the analysis of performance parameters such as motor response and architectural time delay obtained with the robot operation. The results show that the developed architecture can be applied for teleoperation and distributed control of agricultural robots meeting the requirements for accurate robot movement and an acceptable response time for robot control commands and supervision.

Uma grande tendência na área industrial tem sido a aplicação de tecnologias de redes de comunicação, como o protocolo CAN (Controller Area Network), como solução em sistemas de controle distribuído. O maior desafio no desenvolvimento de sistemas distribuídos baseados em redes industriais é o efeito dos atrasos de comunicação da rede no desempenho do sistema de controle. Este fato tem norteado o desenvolvimento de modelos e ferramentas de simulação para calcular esses atrasos, analisar o desempenho e simular o comportamento temporal desses sistemas. Sob este contexto, apresenta-se o desenvolvimento de um modelo matemático e de um modelo com Redes de Petri Coloridas para simulação de sistemas de controle distribuído baseados no protocolo CAN. Os modelos desenvolvidos apresentaram grande flexibilidade e potencial de aplicação, permitindo a obtenção de diversos parâmetros relacionados ao desempenho da rede e do sistema distribuído. Além disso, um caso de estudo referente à simulação de um sistema distribuído com rede CAN para um robô móvel permitiu evidenciar que os modelos desenvolvidos podem ser utilizados para a análise de qualquer aplicação de sistemas de controle distribuído com redes CAN.

A major trend in industrial systems is the application of communication networks technologies, such as CAN (Controller Area Network), in distributed control systems. A challenging problem in the development of distributed system based on communication networks is the network delay effects in the performance of the system. This fact has motivated the development of simulation tools and models to calculate these delays, to simulate the timing behavioral and evaluate the performance of these systems. This work presents the development of a mathematical model and a Colored Petri Nets model to the simulation of CAN-based distributed systems. The flexibility and potential obtained with the developed models allow determining and analyzing several performance parameters related to communication network and the distributed control. An example of a CAN-based distributed system applied to perform the control of a mobile robot demonstrates the functionalities of the models and its applicability to the analysis of any CAN application.
