O principal objetivo, neste artigo, é analisar o perfil ambiental da produção do painel de madeira MDF produzido em uma indústria brasileira em termos de energia, emissões e dependência de fontes renováveis. O estudo foi baseado na metodologia de Avaliação do Ciclo de Vida (ACV), especificamente por meio do desenvolvimento do primeiro Inventário do Ciclo de Vida (ICV) do MDF de uma indústria brasileira. O Inventário do Ciclo de Vida e a análise dos processos produtivos foram construídos utilizando o software Umberto® v.5.6, atendendo aos requisitos normativos da série de normas ISO 14040. O estudo abrangeu o ciclo de vida da produção do MDF na perspectiva gate-to-gate, envolvendo os limites in-loco da planta fabril. A unidade funcional adotada foi 1 m³ de MDF. Cerca de 76% da energia requerida para a produção do MDF é de origem térmica (onde 52,8% é demandada pelo processo de secagem da fibra de madeira). O CO2 é a maior emissão observada durante a produção do MDF, na qual o gás natural contribui com 96,7% do total de CO2 de origem fóssil. Foi observada uma baixa dependência de fontes não renováveis (19,2%) quando comparada à literatura.

The main goal of this study was to analyze the environmental profile of MDF panel manufacturing in the Brazilian industry in terms of energy, emissions and dependence on renewable sources. The study was conducted by using the methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), specifically through the development of the first Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) of MDF in a Brazilian industry. The life cycle inventory and the production processes analysis were constructed using Umberto® v.5.6 software and following the ISO 14040 series. The study covers the life cycle of MDF production from gate-to-gate perspective, involving the on-site manufacturing system. The functional unit was defined in 1 m³ of MDF. About 76% of energy required to produce MDF is thermal (52.8% of thermal energy is required for the drying process of wood fiber). CO2 is a major emission during the MDF production, where natural gas contributes to 96.7% of total CO2 fossils. It was observed a low dependence of non-renewable source (19.2%) compared with the literature.

Este trabalho apresenta a Educação Corporativa - EC nas organizações brasileiras, como uma forma de aprendizado contínuo, apesar dessa prática ainda estar em fase de amadurecimento no País. O objetivo da pesquisa é avaliar as etapas da implementação do processo da EC através de um estudo multicaso. Foi observado que a implementação da unidade de EC deve levar em consideração a singularidade de cada empresa, com suas características e especificidades. Pode-se concluir que a maioria das empresas desse estudo indicou que a implementação foi realizada após decisão dos dirigentes como a etapa inicial. Mesmo inexistindo uma fórmula capaz de atender às especificações das mais diversas organizações, houve uma sequência lógica para a estruturação e implementação da unidade.

This study presents the corporate education (CE) in Brazilian organizations as a means of continuous learning, despite the fact that this practice is still under development in the country. The purpose of this research was to analyze the implementation stages of the CE process through a multi-case study. It was possible to observe that the CE unit implementationshould consider the singularities of each company, with its characteristics and specificities. It is possible to conclude that most enterprises in this study indicated that the implementation was carried out after the executives' decision as the first phase. Although there is no formula capable of meeting the specifications of all organizations, there was a logical sequence for the structuring and implementation of the unit.

O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a qualidade de vida no trabalho (QVT) de colaboradores com diferentes níveis de instrução, utilizando-se de técnicas estatísticas uni e multivariada para a análise dos dados. Foi realizado por meio da aplicação do modelo de QVT proposto por Walton (1973) em 154 indivíduos - 84 homens e 70 mulheres - com diferentes níveis de instrução. Os resultados gerais indicaram que o critério ''compensação justa e adequada'' (53) apresentou o menor índice de satisfação adotado e ''relevância social'', o maior escore (69,1). Na análise de variância com α = 0,05; valor calculado de F = 1,96; P = 0,056, e valor crítico de F = 2,37, pode-se afirmar que não existe diferença significativa entre as médias de QVT dos nove níveis de instrução analisados. Quanto à primeira análise de correlação, esta obteve coeficiente de correlação igual a -0,128, não tendo sido verificada uma correlação significativa entre o valor geral da QVT dos indivíduos e o nível de instrução. Na segunda análise de correlação multivariada, foi verificado que o nível de instrução apresentou correlação significativa apenas com os critérios 1 e 7 de QVT, com valores respectivos de 0,2480 e 0,2849. Conclui-se que os colaboradores podem apresentar melhor ou pior QVT, independentemente de seu grau de instrução, indicando que todos os colaboradores são sensíveis às modificações e melhorias promovidas pela empresa no ambiente laboral.

The objective of this study was to investigate the quality of working life (QWL) in workers with different levels of education, through the use of uni- and multivariate statistical techniques to analyze the data. This study was carried out through the application of a QWL model proposed by Walton (1975) on 154 individuals (84 men and 70 women), with different educational levels. The general results indicated that the criterion ''fair and adjusted compensation'' (3.1) showed a lower dissatisfaction index and the criterion ''social relevance'' the lowest (3.74). In the analysis of variance with P = 0,05; calculated value of F = 1,96; P = 0,056 and critical value of F = 2,37, it is possible to affirm that there is no significant difference in the QWL mean among the 9 analyzed levels of instruction. Concerning the correlation analysis, the first analysis obtained a correlation value equal to -0.128, where a significant correlation between the QWL and the educational level of the individuals was not found. In the second correlation analysis, it was confirmed that the instruction level showed significant correlation only with criteria 1 and 7 of QWL with respective values of 0.2480 and 0.2849. It is possible to conclude that the collaborators may manifest a better or worse QWL, independently of their level of education. This also indicates that all the collaborators are sensitive to the modifications and innovations and improvements promoted by the company in the labor environment.

Este estudo pautou-se em responder ao seguinte problema: "Como facilitar a emergência de contextos favoráveis ao processo de criação e compartilhamento de conhecimento?" Ante a formulação inicial, o presente artigo tem por objetivo identificar os quatro tipos de contextos (originating ba, dialoguing ba, systemizing ba e exercising ba) e apontar seus benefícios para a criação e compartilhamento de conhecimentos, a partir da percepção dos mestrandos dos cursos de engenharia de produção da Universidade Tecnologica Federal do Paraná (UFTPR) campus Ponta Grossa, de acordo com a metodologia proposta por Nonaka, Toyama e Konno (2002). O texto caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso, com a utilização de técnicas qualitativas para coleta e análise dos dados. Os resultados apontam a identificação dos espaços por 100% dos respondentes, tendo como benefícios o compartilhamento de informações e de conhecimentos. As informações compartilhadas que mais trouxeram benefícios estão relacionadas à criação e desenvolvimento de artigos, seminários, qualificação e defesa da dissertação.

This work aims to answer the following initial problem: how to facilitate the emerging of favorable contexts to the process of knowledge creating and sharing? Facing the formulation of the initial hypothesis, the objective in this article is to identify the four type of contexts (originating ba, dialogue ba, systematizing ba e exercising ba) and to point out its benefits for knowledge creation and sharing from the perception of the Production Engineering masters students of UFTPR, campus Ponta Grossa, according to the methodology proposed by Nonaka, Toyama and Konno (2002). This article is characterized as a case study, using qualitative techniques for data collect and analysis. The results point to the space identification by 100% of the answers is having as benefits the information and knowledge sharing. The shared information that brought more benefits are related to articles creation and development, seminars, qualify and dissertation presentation.
