Resumo O artigo discute as representações familiares negras em anúncios de revista e em conteúdos veiculados no Instagram pelas 10 marcas mais valiosas do Brasil, segundo o ranking Interbrand, no intervalo 2018-2020. Por meio da análise interseccional semiótica dos materiais, verificamos como são representadas as famílias negras, sob uma perspectiva de conjugalidade, racialidade e orientação sexual. Abstract The paper brings the discussion of the representations of black families in magazine ads and content posted on Instagram by the 10 most valuable brands in Brazil according to the Intebrand ranking, in the period of 2018-2020. Through intersectional semiotic analysis of the materials, we verified how black families are represented from the perspective of conjugality, race and sexual orientation. Resumo Neste trabalho analisamos duas linhas de produtos da marca brasileira Salon Line: Todecacho, dirigida para o cuidado aos fios crespos e cacheados; e Meu Liso, destinada aos cuidados dos cabelos lisos. O objetivo é identificar, por meio da semiótica da expressividade marcária (PEREZ, 2017), o potencial sígnico contido nos nomes das linhas de produtos e de seus respectivos slogans, a partir do repertório cultural da sociedade brasileira. Os resultados da análise apontam para reforços de estruturas racistas, tanto no nome quanto no slogan, uma vez que Todecacho afirma uma transitoriedade dos cabelos, importante elemento de afirmação da identidade negra, ao passo que Meu Liso demonstra a ideia de posse e permanência dos fios lisos.

Abstract In this work, we analyzed two product lines of the Brazilian brand Salon Line: Todecacho, directed to afro and curly hair; and Meu Liso, for straight hair. The objective is to identify, through the semiotics of brand expressivity (PEREZ, 2017) the signic potential contained in the names of the product lines and their respective slogans, based on Brazilian society’s cultural repertoire. The results of the analysis point to reinforcements of racist structures, both in name and in the slogan, since Todecacho affirms a transience of the hair, an important element of black identity affirmation, while Meu Liso demonstrates the idea of possession and permanence of the straight hair.
