RESUMO: Na cultura do feijão, há poucas opções de herbicidas seletivos com amplo espectro de controle de plantas daninhas para uso em pós-emergência da cultura. O presente experimento teve por objetivo testar a seletividade e o controle de plantas daninhas na pós-emergência da cultura do feijão. Foram testados os herbicidas clethodim, cloransulam, imazethapyr, fomesafen, bentazon e diclosulam, isoladamente e em associação com clethodim, imazamox+bentazon, fomesafen+fluazifop, cloransulam+bentazon e imazethapyr+bentazon nas cultivares de 'feijão ANfc 9', 'BRS Estilo' e 'IPR Uirapuru'. Foram analisadas: fitotoxidez e controle de plantas daninhas e produtividade. O Bidens pilosa foi controlado com todos os tratamentos contendo herbicidas latifolicidas, exceto imazethapyr. Digitaria spp. foi controlada em todos os tratamentos com clethodim, fluazifop, fomesafen e imazethapyr. Os tratamentos contendo cloransulam, diclosulam, fomesafen e imazamox foram eficientes no controle de Parthenium hysterophorus . A cultivar 'ANfc 9' é mais produtiva nos tratamentos com cloransulam e diclosulam associados com clethodim, fomesafen isolado ou associado ao clethodim ou fluazifop e, imazamox+bentazon. A cultivar 'IPR Uirapuru' foi mais produtiva com fomesafen associado ao clethodim ou fluazifop e 'BRS Estilo' foi mais produtiva com fomesafen associado fluazifop.

ABSTRACT: There are few options of wide spectrum selective herbicides registered for post-emergence weed control in common beans crop. The experiment aimed to test crop selectivity and weed control of post-emergence herbicides on common beans. Weed control, injury and grain yield were evaluated. Treatments consisted on: cloransulam-methyl, imazethapyr, fomesafen, bentazon and diclosulam isolated and tank-mixed with clethodim; imazamox+bentazon, fomesafen+fluazifop, clethodim; cloransulam+bentazon and imazethapyr+bentazon. Treatments were tested on the cultivars 'ANfc 9', 'IPR Uirapuru' and 'BRS Estilo'. The high-yielding treatments to the cultivar 'ANfc 9' were fomesafen alone and tank-mixed with clethodim or fluazifop, cloransulam and diclosulam tank-mixed with clethodim, and imazamox+bentazon. The high-yielding treatments with the cultivar 'IPR Uirapuru' was fomesafen tank-mixed with clethodim or fluazifop. High-yielding treatment to BRS Estilo was fomesafen+fluazifop. Bidens pilosa was controlled by all the treatments with broadleaf herbicides with exception of imazethapyr. Digitaria spp . was controlled by all treatments containing clethodim, fluazifop, fomesafen and imazethapyr. Treatments with cloransulam, diclosulam, fomesafen and imazamox were efficient to control Parthenium hysterophorus .

Assim como a maioria das hortaliças, o brócolis (Brassica oleracea var. italica) sofre grandes perdas de produtividade com a presença de plantas daninhas; por isso é necessário que seja realizado um manejo adequado para o controle. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a seletividade do herbicida oxyfluorfen aplicado em pré-transplante na cultura do brócolis, híbrido Avenger, em diferentes períodos de transplante. O experimento foi instalado em casa de vegetação, pertencente à Universidade de Caxias do Sul, em Vacaria-RS, de agosto a outubro de 2012. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 11x2, com três repetições. O fator A foi composto por 11 períodos de transplantes (0 até 10 dias após a aplicação do produto) e o B com (3 L/ha) e sem herbicida. Foram avaliados sintomas visuais de fitotoxidade nas plantas, estatura das plantas, massa verde da parte aérea e massa seca da parte aérea e radicular. Material vegetal de todos tratamentos foi coletado e analisado aos 30 dias após o transplante. O herbicida oxyfluorfen não provoca efeitos fitotóxicos na cultura do brócolis, híbrido Avenger, quando aplicado via solo, em vasos, em condição de pré-transplante das mudas.

As most vegetables, broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) suffers great loss of productivity in the presence of weeds; an appropriate weed management being necessary. The objective of this study was to evaluate the selectivity of oxyfluorfen herbicide applied in pre transplant of broccoli, hybrid Avenger, on different transplantation periods. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse, in Universidade de Caxias do Sul, situated in Vacaria, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil, from August to October 2012. The experimental design was completely randomized in a factorial 11x2 with three replications. The factor A was composed of 11 periods of transplantation (0 to 10 days after application of the product) and the B with and without herbicide (3 L/ha). We evaluated visual symptoms of phytotoxicity in plants, plant height, weight of fresh mass of shoots and dry weight of shoots and root. Plant material was collected from all treatments and analyzed 30 days after transplantation. The herbicide oxyfluorfen does not cause phytotoxic effects on broccoli, hybrid Avenger, when applied to soil in pots, under pre-transplanting.

Cyperus difformis L. é uma planta daninha ocorrente em lavouras de arroz irrigado, que tem apresentado dificuldade de controle devido à resistência a herbicidas inibidores da enzima ALS. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram investigar características cinéticas da enzima ALS de biótipos de C. difformis e determinar as bases bioquímicas da resistência da espécie ao herbicida pyrazosulfuron-ethyl. Para isso, foram conduzidos experimentos em laboratório do BIOAGRO/UFV. O método utilizado baseou-se na metologia utilizada por CAREY et al. (1997) e adaptada por VARGAS et al. (1999), com algumas modificações. Foram avaliadas a concentração de substrato (piruvato) que fornece velocidade inicial igual à metade da velocidade máxima de reação (K M) e velocidade máxima de reação (Vmáx), bem como a atividade da enzima ALS na presença do inibidor (pyrazosulfuron-ethyl). Diante dos resultados, pode-se observar que a resistência de C. difformis a pyrazosulfuron-ethyl é decorrente da insensibilidade da enzima ALS ao herbicida, não acarretando, porém, prejuízo aos parâmetros cinéticos K M e Vmáx da enzima ALS.

Cyperus difformis L. is a weed that occurs in flooded rice, which has presented difficulty in controlling due to the resistance to ALS inhibiting herbicides. The objectives of this research were to investigate kinetic characteristics of ALS enzyme from C. difformis biotypes and to determine the biochemical bases of resistance from the species to pyrazosulfuron-ethyl herbicide. For that, experiments were conducted at the BIOAGRO/UFV laboratory. The method used was based on the methodology used by CAREY et al. (1997) and adapted by VARGAS et al. (1999), with some modifications. It was evaluated substratum concentration (pyruvate) that provides initial velocity equal to half the speed reaction (K M) and maximum velocity of reaction (Vmáx), as well the activity of the ALS enzyme in the presence of the inhibitor (pyrazosulfuron-ethyl). According to the results, it is possible to observe that C. difformis resistance to pyrazosulfuron-ethyl is due to the insensibility of the ALS enzyme to the herbicide, however without penalty to K M and Vmáx kinetic parameters of the ALS enzyme.
