Resumo Introdução: Fatores socioeconômicos e demográficos dos municípios podem afetar os serviços da atenção primária, influenciando na satisfação dos usuários. Objetivo: Verificar a relação entre a satisfação do usuário com a atenção primária e as condições socioeconômicas e demográficas dos municípios brasileiros. Método: Estudo transversal baseado nas entrevistas de usuários das equipes de atenção básica participantes do 2º Ciclo do Programa Nacional de Melhoria do Acesso e da Qualidade da Atenção Básica, realizado em 2013 e 2014. A análise da satisfação do usuário considerou questões organizacionais e aspectos assistenciais. A avaliação foi distribuída em seis estratos municipais, considerando fatores socioeconômicos e demográficos. Realizou-se análise de variância objetivando comparar as médias de satisfação dos usuários entre os estratos. Resultados: Usuários de municípios com pior condição socioeconômica e população menor que 10 mil habitantes apresentaram maior satisfação que a média em relação à maioria dos aspectos organizacionais. Nas questões assistenciais, participantes de municípios com melhor condição socioeconômica ou com população maior que 500 mil habitantes se mostraram mais satisfeitos em relação ao cuidado do diabetes e da hipertensão arterial. Conclusões: A satisfação dos usuários é maior nas questões organizacionais do que nas subdimensões assistenciais, ensejando a necessidade de investimento para melhorar a prestação do cuidado. Abstract Background: Socioeconomic and demographic factors in municipalities can affect primary care services, influencing user satisfaction. Objective: To verify the relationship between user satisfaction with primary care and socioeconomic and demographic conditions in Brazilian municipalities. Method: Cross-sectional study based on interviews with users of primary care teams participating in the 2nd Cycle of the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Primary Care, in 2013 and 2014. The analysis of user satisfaction considered organizational issues and care aspects. The assessment was distributed into six municipal strata, considering socioeconomic and demographic factors. Analysis of variance was carried out in order to compare the averages of user satisfaction between the strata. Results: Users from municipalities with worse socioeconomic conditions and populations of less than 10 thousand inhabitants showed greater satisfaction than the average in relation to most organizational aspects. Regarding care issues, participants from municipalities with better socioeconomic conditions or with a population greater than 500 thousand inhabitants were more satisfied with regard to diabetes and hypertension care. Conclusions: User satisfaction is greater in organizational issues than in the sub-dimensions of care, implying the need for investment to improve the provision of care. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) obtained by the ectopic expression of defined transcription factors have tremendous promise and therapeutic potential for regenerative medicine. Many studies have highlighted important differences between iPSCs and embryonic stem cells (ESCs). In this work, we used meta-analysis to compare the global transcriptional profiles of human iPSCs from various cellular origins and induced by different methods. The induction strategy affected the quality of iPSCs in terms of transcriptional signatures. The iPSCs generated by non-integrating methods were closer to ESCs in terms of transcriptional distance than iPSCs generated by integrating methods. Several pathways that could be potentially useful for studying the molecular mechanisms underlying transcription factor-mediated reprogramming leading to pluripotency were also identified. These pathways were mostly associated with the maintenance of ESC pluripotency and cancer regulation. Numerous genes that are up-regulated during the induction of reprogramming also have an important role in the success of human preimplantation embryonic development. Our results indicate that hiPSCs maintain their pluripotency through mechanisms similar to those of hESCs.
