Faced with the global challenge of water treatment, the investigation of the removal of endocrine disruptor compounds (EDCs) in aquatic environments is essential to protect human and animals health. In this study, a novel nanocomposite was prepared from biochar from agricultural waste (corn cob) and maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) nanoparticles, named PCCN, to remove four EDCs (triclosan, 17α-ethinylestradiol, methylparaben, and bisphenol A) from aqueous solutions by adsorption. For the characterization of PCCN, the advanced techniques Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis (BET), pH of point of zero charge (pHpzc), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetry (TGA) were employed. Competitive adsorption equilibrium studies of EDCs were performed with PCCN and compared to unmodified biochar (PCC). In the Amazon, Euterpe oleracea Mart. (açaí), is part of the identity of traditional communities, and the fruit is integrated into their everyday sociocultural dynamics. Hydrolysis and pyrolysis of residual biomass can be alternatives to yield sugars, ethanol, biochar and bio-oil. The açaí seeds subjected to oxidative pretreatment followed by acid hydrolysis increased cellulose to fermentable sugars (reaching 23.5%) and second-generation ethanol production (17.441 L t−1). Açaí oil (ca. 30%) was extracted using a Soxhlet apparatus (using hexane as solvent) and detected through gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS), where acids accounted for 82.43% of the total composition, while alcohols comprised only 13.15%. For pyrolysis, temperatures (500 and 550 °C), time (20 and 30 min), and activation temperature (750 and 800 °C) were evaluated, resulting in yields of ca. 22% for biochar and 30% for bio-oil. For the bio-oil, the main compounds detected by GC-MS were acids (16.3%), aldehydes (13.08%), amides (12.19%), alcohols (6.72%), and phenols (4.64%). This study describes the chemical composition and biological activities of extracts and compounds obtained from the roots of Bowdichia virgilioides (Fabaceae). A mixture of very long-chain free fatty acids (VLFAs) and pure compounds, namely isocordoin, cordoin, lupeol, lupenone, β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, and sitostenone, were isolated from the soluble fraction of the methanol extract by using sequential column chromatography procedures. The molecular structures of the compounds were determined using infrared (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and mass spectrometry (MS) techniques. Notably, this is the first report of the occurrence of both chalcones within this plant genus. ABSTRACT Deformation intensity analysis for mechanical parts are very important data for machine design. For farm machines, these parameters present difficulties for determination due to its particularities. The Machinery industry searches for advanced technologies to determine the mechanical behavior of parts. This article shows the analysis of the reliability in the application of the laser triangulation technique (LTT) to determine the deformation of the mechanical elements of farm machines. A flat cutting disc with standardized dimension was selected as the object of study, as it is commonly used in farm machines, exhibiting a simple geometry made of steel, making the analysis procedure easier both for experimental execution and for data validation. Displacements of 1.0 mm to 10 mm were applied on the specimen. The theoretical behavior of specimen displacement was defined by finite element modelling with same condition of loading and dimension to compare the generated data by the experimental tests. Results indicated a displacement with maximum variation of 2.56% between experimental data and theoretical results and were considered satisfactory. Abstract We investigated how the FBI persecuted the Black Panther Party of the United States through the COINTELPRO program between 1968 and 1971, and verified that such practices follow a pattern similar to that of other counterintelligence activities mobilized in the repression of political organizations of the left and the black movement in the 20th Century, repeating a consolidated modus operandi at the time. ABSTRACT Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the total macular thickness as well as the thickness of the inner and outer retinal layers in patients with Parkinson’s disease. It also aimed to verify the correlation of these parameters with motor symptoms and cognitive function. Methods: A total of 46 eyes of 23 patients with Parkinson’s disease and 40 eyes of 20 healthy controls were included in the study. The patients’ cognitive, functional, and nonmotor symptoms were evaluated using the Katz Index of Independence and Pfeffer’s Activities of Daily Living, Mini-Mental State Examination, Frontal Assessment Battery, Schwab and England Staging Scales, and Movement Disorders Society Nonmotor Symptoms Scale. The macular thickness measurements obtained via total, inner, and outer optical coherence tomography were recorded. Furthermore, the correlation of the parameters of optical coherence tomography with cognitive, functional, and nonmotor symptoms was assessed. Results: The scores of the Katz Index of Independence and Pfeffer’s Activities of Daily Living as well as the Movement Disorders Society Nonmotor Symptoms Scale were significantly lower in patients with Parkinson’s disease than in healthy controls. Moreover, the former had greater total macular thickness. The temporal and inferior outer sectors were significantly greater for the ganglion cell complex thickness in patients. A significant correlation was observed between the total macular thickness and the Movement Disorder Society-Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale, Parte III (MDS-UPDRS-III) values. Contrarily, there was a negative correlation between the outer macular thickness and the MDS-UPDRS-III values. Meanwhile, the total macular thickness and ganglion cell complex thickness were significantly correlated with the scores of the Mini-Mental State Examination, Schwab and England Staging Scale, Frontal Assessment Battery, and Katz Index of Independence and Pfeffer’s Activities of Daily Living. In addition, the Schwab and England scale was correlated with the outer macular thickness. Conclusion: The total and inner macular thicknesses at the temporal and inferior outer sectors were greater in patients with Parkinson’s disease than in the control group. These findings indicate that macular thickness may be greater in those with Parkinson’s disease, particularly when associated with mild motor symptoms. In addition, the parameters of the total, inner, and outer optical coherence tomography were significantly associated with motor and nonmotor symptoms as well as cognitive function impairment. Chitosan (CS) blends with collagen (CL) and Aloe vera (AV) have gained significant attention in the biomedical field due to their biocompatibility, biodegradability, and potential for wound healing applications. In this study, we investigated the preparation and characterization of CS/CL and CS/AV blends using selective precipitation and co-precipitation techniques. The synthesis processes were analyzed for yield and 4-hydroxyproline content (in CS/CL blends). The materials were characterized using bromatological analyses, viscosity measurements, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). These eco-friendly methods effectively promoted interactions between the biopolymers, resulting in homogeneous blends with tunable properties. Besides, they are simple, fast, safe, and require minimal infrastructure. This study demonstrated that selective precipitation and co-precipitation are effective methods for producing chitosan/collagen and chitosan/Aloe vera blends. These methods foster interactions and miscibility between the biopolymers, as confirmed by FTIR, XRD, viscosity, and 4-Hy content analyses. They also align with green chemistry principles by avoiding organic solvents, reducing environmental risks, and minimizing waste. The high yields achieved, especially for CS/AV blends (exceeding 96%), make these materials compatible with lyophilization procedures. RESUMO: Este estudo objetivou avaliar a sedação e alterações fisiológicas promovidas por três doses de midazolam, administradas por via intranasal, em iguanas verdes. Oito iguanas adultas, pesando 850 ± 165 g, receberam, de forma aleatorizada, cinco tratamentos: midazolam 2 mg.kg-1 (IM), midazolam 2 mg.kg-1 intranasal (IN2), midazolam 3 mg.kg-1 intranasal (IN3), midazolam 5 mg.kg-1 intranasal (IN5) e NaCl 0,9% intramuscular (CON). O grau de sedação, frequência cardíaca, frequência respiratória e temperatura foram avaliados no momento basal até 360 minutos pós-tratamentos. O tratamento IM promoveu sedação moderada a intensa, entre 10 (9 [8-12]) e 120 minutos (8 [3-9]). As doses de 2 e 3 mg.kg-1 intranasal não promoveram sedação nos animais. A dose de 5 mg.kg-1 de midazolam intranasal, promoveu sedação discreta aos 20 (5 [2-6]), 45 (5 [1-6]) e 90 minutos (5 [1-7]). ABSTRACT: This study evaluated the sedation and the physiological effects produced by three doses of intranasal midazolam in green iguanas. Eight adult iguanas weighing 850 ± 165 grams, received each of five treatments: intramuscular midazolam 2 mg.kg-1 (IM), intranasally administered midazolam at doses of 2 mg.kg-1 (IN2), 3 mg.kg-1 (IN3) and 5 mg.kg-1 (IN5), and intramuscular saline (CON). The degree of sedation, heart rate, respiratory rate and body temperature were assessed from the baseline to 360 minutes post-administrations. The IM treatment induced mild to deep sedation from 10 (9 [8-12]) to 120 minutes (8 [3-9]). Sedation was not achieved in groups IN2 and IN3. When compared to the baseline, mild sedation was achieved in IN5 at 20 (5 [2-6]), 45 (5 [1-6]) and 90 minutes (5 [1-7]). There was a reduction in heart rate only in the IM group at 360 minutes (40 ± 15.1 bpm). Respiratory rate decreased to the baseline only in IN5, at 30 (12 [8-16] mpm) and 90 minutes (12 [8-24] mpm). No changes in body temperature were observed with any of the treatments during the evaluation period. RESUMO: Uma das causas de perda de produtividade em lavouras de cana está associada à espécie Diatraea saccharalis, também conhecida por broca da cana. Portanto, este estudo avaliou a viabilidade do uso de sensores hiperespectrais para obter a resposta espectral foliar da cana-de-açúcar em diferentes períodos de infestações, tanto a nível foliar quanto dossel, a fim de diagnosticar antecipadamente os danos da Diatraea saccharalis. O estudo contou com três variedades de cana-de-açúcar: CTC9003BT, CTC4 e RB966928. Em metade das parcelas foi utilizado o inseticida Altacor® para o controle de pragas. As coletas de dados ocorreram nas fases: brotação, perfilhamento, crescimento de colmos e início da maturação. Para avaliar os efeitos da broca na cana foi coletado os dados referentes ao conteúdo relativo de água (CRA), assinatura espectral foliar em laboratório e dossel, índices de vegetação (NDVI e MCARI), produtividade, pureza e ATR (Açúcar Total Recuperável). O maior CRA encontrado foi para a CTC9003BT (60,15%) sem inseticida e 59,0% com inseticida. As faixas espectrais do visível (400-680 nm) e infravermelho próximo (750-1300 nm) identificaram variações espectrais nas plantas com e sem broca. ABSTRACT: One of the causes of productivity loss in sugarcane cultivation has been associated with the species Diatraea saccharalis, also known as the sugarcane borer. Therefore, this study evaluated the feasibility of using hyperspectral sensors to obtain the leaf spectral response of sugarcane in different periods of infestation at leaf and canopy levels to diagnose D. saccharalis damage in advance. The study included three varieties of sugarcane: CTC9003BT, CTC4, and RB966928. The insecticide Altacor® was used to control pestsin half of the plots. Data collection occurred at the following stages: sprouting, tillering, stalke longation, and early maturation. Data regarding relative water content (RWC), leaf spectral signature in the laboratory and canopy, vegetation indices (NDVI and MCARI), productivity, purity, and total recoverable sugar (TRS) were collected to evaluate the borer effects on the sugarcane crop. The highest RWC was observed for CTC9003BT (60.15%) without insecticide and 59.0% with insecticide. The visible (400-680 nm) and near-infrared (750-1300 nm) spectral bands identified spectral variations in plants with and without sugarcane borer. The percentage of sugarcane borer showed high and negative correlations between productivity, NDVI, and TRS, with coefficients of -0.68, -0.76, and -0.76, respectively. The NDVI and MCARI indices effectively detect plants under stress, but their variation is influenced by multiple factors, making it difficult to associate them with a single problem (sugarcane borer). Resumo Enquadramento: A implementação da Prática Baseada na Evidência (PBE) é crucial para a qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem. As ações desenvolvidas pelos líderes formais são essenciais para implementar a PBE, tornando-se determinante conhecer as suas perceções. Objetivo: Conhecer as perceções de líderes formais de enfermagem sobre a PBE. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo exploratório com abordagem qualitativa. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas a 17 líderes de três hospitais portugueses. Os dados foram analisados através de análise de conteúdo e do software MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2022. Salvaguardados os pressupostos éticos. Resultados: Emergiram dois temas com respetivas categorias − Conhecimento sobre PBE (Conceito de PBE, Impacto da PBE nos resultados em saúde e Autoperceção do conhecimento sobre PBE); Papel na implementação da PBE (comportamentos e caraterísticas). Conclusão: Os líderes descreveram a sua perceção sobre o Conceito de PBE e a relação do Impacto da PBE com resultados em saúde, a necessidade de conhecimento e o seu investimento formativo, bem como o seu papel neste processo. Futuros programas formativos deverão ser implementados nesta área.

Abstract Background: The implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is critical to the quality of nursing care. Formal leaders play a crucial role in developing interventions to implement EBP, so it is important to understand their perceptions. Objective: To examine formal nurse leaders’ perceptions of EBP. Methodology: Descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 17 leaders from three Portuguese hospitals. Data were analyzed using content analysis and MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2022 software. All ethical principles were observed. Results: Two themes and their categories emerged − Knowledge of EBP (Concept of EBP, Impact of EBP on health outcomes, and Self-perception of the knowledge about EBP) and Role in EBP implementation (behaviors and characteristics). Conclusion: The leaders described their perception of the concept of EBP and the association between the impact of EBP and health outcomes, the need for knowledge, and the investment in training, as well as their role in this process. Future training programs should be implemented in this area.

Resumen Marco contextual: La implantación de la Práctica Basada en la Evidencia (PBE) es esencial para la calidad de los cuidados de enfermería. Las acciones emprendidas por los líderes formales son esenciales para implantar la PBE, y es fundamental conocer sus percepciones. Objetivo: Conocer las percepciones de los líderes formales de enfermería sobre la PBE. Metodología: Estudio exploratorio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a 17 líderes de tres hospitales portugueses. Los datos se analizaron mediante análisis de contenido y el programa MAXQDA Analytic Pro 2022. Se garantizaron los presupuestos éticos. Resultados: Surgieron dos temas con sus respectivas categorías − Conocimiento sobre la PBE (Concepto de la PBE, Impacto de la PBE en los resultados sanitarios y Autopercepción del conocimiento sobre la PBE); Papel en la aplicación de la PBE (comportamientos y características). Conclusión: Los líderes describieron su percepción del concepto de PBE y la relación del Impacto de la PBE con los resultados sanitarios, la necesidad de conocimientos y su inversión formativa, así como su papel en este proceso. Los futuros programas de formación deberían aplicarse en este ámbito.

Resumen: Las funciones ejecutivas (FE) y la regulación emocional (RE) se asocian a partir de los desarrollos cognitivos y socioemocionales de los niños. En vista de las intervenciones neuropsicológicas actuales en FE, el presente estudio buscó investigar si una intervención de FE (programa PENcE) sería equivalente, superior o inferior en relación a la intervención de FE en conjunto con estrategias de RE (programas PENcE y REPENcE) en el desempeño ejecutivo, emocional y académico de estudiantes de la escuela primaria sometidos a programas de desempeño enfocados exclusivamente en FE (PENcE) versus un programa mixto de FE y RE (PENcE+REPENcE) versus controles. Participaron 111 niños, divididos en tres grupos: el grupo 1 recibió una intervención mixta con los programas PENcE y REPENcE, el grupo 2 recibió solo PENcE, y el grupo 3 fue el grupo de control (currículo escolar). El grupo sometido a la intervención presentó un desempeño superior en la evaluación posintervención en un gran número de dominios, como iniciación, velocidad de procesamiento, conciencia corporal y comunicación de emociones. Así, es claro que un programa centrado en las habilidades de RE puede potenciar y aumentar el resultado de un programa de estimulación cognitiva exclusivamente de FE.

Abstract: Executive functions (EF) and emotion regulation (ER) are associated with the basis of children's cognitive and socio-emotional development. In view of the current of neuropsychological interventions in EF, the present study sought to investigate whether an EF intervention (PENcE program) would be equivalent, superior or inferior in relation to the EF intervention in conjunction with ER strategies (PENcE and REPENcE programs) in performance executive, emotional and school performance of elementary school students who underwent performance programs exclusively focused on EF (PENcE) versus a mixed EF and ER program (PENcE+REPENcE) versus controls. One hundred and eleven children participated, divided into three groups: group 1 received a mixed intervention with the PENcE and REPENcE programs, group 2 performed only the PENcE, and group 3 was the control group (school curriculum). The group submitted to the mixed intervention showed superior performance in a greater number of domains, such as initiation, processing speed, body awareness, and communication of emotions, in the post-intervention evaluation. Thus, it is clear that a program focused on ER skills can enhance and increase the outcomes of a cognitive stimulation program exclusively for EF.

Resumo: As funções executivas (FE) e a regulação emocional (RE) estão associadas à base dos desenvolvimentos cognitivo e socioemocional de crianças. Em vista da corrente de intervenções neuropsicológicas em FE, o presente estudo buscou investigar se uma intervenção de FE (programa PENcE) seria equivalente, superior ou inferior em relação à intervenção de FE em conjunto com estratégias de RE (programas PENcE e REPENcE) no desempenho executivo, emocional e escolar de alunos do Ensino Fundamental I que foram submetidos a programas de desempenho exclusivamente focados nas FE (PENcE) versus programa misto de FE e RE (PENcE+REPENcE) versus controles. Participaram 111 crianças, dividida em três grupos: grupo 1 recebeu uma intervenção mista com os programas PENcE e REPENcE, grupo 2 realizou somente o PENcE, e grupo 3 foi o grupo controle (currículo escolar). O grupo submetido à intervenção mista apresentou na avaliação pós-intervenção desempenho superior em um maior número de domínios, como, iniciação, velocidade de processamento, consciência corporal, e comunicação das emoções. Deste modo, percebe-se que um programa focado em habilidades de RE pode potencializar e incrementar os desfechos de um programa de estimulação cognitiva exclusivamente de FE.

Abstract Psychological well-being is the evaluation that a person makes of his or her life in the academic, work, family or affective spheres, which refers to the intensity of positive and negative emotions. The objective of this study was to correlate psychological well-being and academic performance in new students of the bachelor's degree programs in Administration and Psychology. A non-experimental, descriptive, transitional and correlational design was used. The participants were 181 students. The instrument used was Ryff's psychological well-being, in its six dimensions: self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, mastery of the environment, meaning of life and personal growth. The information was processed with the Statistical Software for Social Sciences to calculate the statistics. The average results of psychological well-being show low level in 34.2%, and there is a significant relationship between self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, mastery of the environment and academic performance (P≤0.05). Between three and four students out of 10 have a low level of well-being; there is no significant relationship between personal growth, purpose in life and academic performance; in general, there is a significant relationship between psychological well-being and academic performance, which indicates that the higher the psychological well-being of the student, the better the academic performance.

Resumen El bienestar psicológico, es la valoración que una persona hace sobre su vida en ámbitos académico, laboral, familiar o afectiva, que hace referencia a la intensidad de las emociones positivas y negativas. El objetivo fue correlacionar el bienestar psicológico y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de nuevo ingreso de las licenciaturas en Administración y Psicología. Se usó un diseño no experimental, descriptivo, transicional y correlacional. Los participantes fueron 181 estudiantes. El instrumento utilizado fue bienestar psicológico de Ryff, en sus seis dimensiones: autoaceptación, relaciones positivas con los demás, autonomía, dominio del entorno, sentido de la vida y crecimiento personal. Para realizar los cálculos la información se procesó con el software estadístico para las ciencias sociales. Los resultados promedio del bienestar psicológico muestran nivel bajo en 34,2%, y existe una relación significativa entre autoaceptación, relaciones positivas con los demás, autonomía, dominio del entorno y el rendimiento académico (P≤0,05). Entre tres y cuatro estudiantes de cada 10 tienen nivel bajo de bienestar; no presentan relación significativa entre crecimiento personal, propósito para la vida y rendimiento académico; en general, existe relación significativa entre el bienestar psicológico y rendimiento académico, lo que indica que, a mayor bienestar psicológico del estudiante mejor rendimiento académico obtuvo.

Resumo O bem-estar psicológico é a avaliação que uma pessoa faz sobre sua vida acadêmica, profissional, familiar ou emocional, que se refere à intensidade das emoções positivas e negativas. O objetivo foi correlacionar o bem-estar psicológico e o desempenho acadêmico em alunos ingressantes dos cursos de Administração e Psicologia. Foi utilizado um desenho não experimental, descritivo, transicional e correlacional. Os participantes foram 181 alunos. O instrumento utilizado foi o bem-estar psicológico de Ryff, nas suas seis dimensões: autoaceitação, relações positivas com os outros, autonomia, domínio do ambiente, sentido da vida e crescimento pessoal. Para a realização dos cálculos, as informações foram processadas com software estatístico de ciências sociais para cálculo das estatísticas. Os resultados médios de bem-estar psicológico apresentam um nível baixo de 34,2%, existindo uma relação significativa entre autoaceitação, relações positivas com os outros, autonomia, domínio do ambiente e desempenho académico (P≤0,05). Entre três e quatro estudantes em cada 10 apresentam um baixo nível de bem-estar; Não apresentam relação significativa entre crescimento pessoal, propósito de vida e desempenho acadêmico; De modo geral, existe uma relação significativa entre o bem-estar psicológico e o desempenho acadêmico, o que indica que quanto maior o bem-estar psicológico do aluno, melhor será o seu desempenho acadêmico.

Resumo Opresente estudo buscou formular tintas artesanais para pinturas de murais cujos pigmentos sejam oriundos de plantas, considerando a necessidade de aditivos e técnicas capazes de garantir um bom desempenho para paredes internas de edificações. A falta de receitas e publicações sobre a proporção de cada componente para a obtenção de uma tinta com bom desempenho motivou a elaboração da presente pesquisa, em que foram desenvolvidas formulações através de delineamento experimental de misturas para obter suspensões homogêneas que estejam em conformidade com os limites de desempenho definidos pela NBR 15079-1:2021. O desempenho das misturas frente ao ensaio de resistência à abrasão (RAU) foi avaliado de acordo com as variações das proporções dos componentes das misturas e as variáveis de pH e viscosidade. Os resultados indicam que os índices mais elevados de RAU foram alcançados ao elevar os níveis de pigmento e bactericida, ao passo que altos índices de pH apresentaram viscosidade elevada e bom desempenho frente à RAU, e vice-versa. Abstract This study handles the possibility of formulating artisanal paints for wall paintings whose pigments come from plants, considering the need for additives and techniques capable of guaranteeing a good performance for internal walls of buildings. The lack of recipes and publications on the proportion of each component to obtain a paint with good performance motivated the preparation of the present research, in which formulations were developed through experimental design of mixtures to obtain homogeneous suspensions that comply with the limits stipulated by NBR 15079-1:2021. The performance of the mixtures in the Abrasion Resistance Test was evaluated according to the variations in the proportions of the components of the mixtures, and the pH and viscosity variable. The results indicate that the highest levels of abrasion resistance were achieved by raising the levels of pigment and bactericide, while high pH indices showed high viscosity and good performance against abrasion resistance, and vice versa. Resumo: Este estudo investigou os efeitos da percepção do vínculo parental, variáveis sociodemográficas e gestacionais na intensidade do apego materno-fetal (AMF) no contexto de gestação de alto risco. Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo e transversal com 119 participantes. Foi aplicado um questionário sociodemográfico, a Escala de Apego Materno-Fetal - Versão Breve e o Parental Bonding Instrument. Os resultados da análise de regressão linear múltipla foram estatisticamente significativos (p < 0,05). O modelo final explicou 28,7 % da variância do AMF e foi composto pelas variáveis de superproteção paterna, cuidado paterno, idade da mulher, idade gestacional e suporte do pai do bebê. Reitera-se que a intensidade do AMF é multideterminada, envolvendo aspectos da história de vida, sociais e situacionais. A percepção da mulher acerca do vínculo paterno durante sua infância e adolescência e o apoio do pai do bebê no período gestacional destacam-se como fatores influentes para a vinculação materno-fetal, indicando a importância do envolvimento paterno ao longo do ciclo vital. São pontuadas implicações para a prática profissional, bem como limitações e recomendações de estudos futuros.

Resumen: Este estudio investigó los efectos de la percepción del vínculo parental, las variables sociodemográficas y gestacionales en la intensidad del apego materno-fetal (AMF) en el contexto de embarazos de alto riesgo. Se trata de un estudio cuantitativo y transversal con 119 participantes. Se aplicó un cuestionario sociodemográfico, la Escala de Apego Materno-Fetal-Versión Breve y el Instrumento de Vínculo Parental. Los resultados del análisis de regresión lineal múltiple fueron estadísticamente significativos (p < .05). El modelo final explicó el 28.7 % de la varianza del AMF y estuvo compuesto por las variables de sobreprotección paterna, cuidado paterno, edad de la mujer, edad gestacional y apoyo del padre del bebé. Se reitera que la intensidad del AMF es multideterminada, lo que involucra aspectos de la historia de vida, sociales y situacionales. La percepción de la mujer sobre el vínculo paternal durante su infancia y adolescencia, así como el apoyo del padre del bebé durante el período gestacional, destacan como factores influyentes en el apego materno-fetal, lo que indica la importancia de la participación paterna a lo largo del ciclo vital. Se puntualizan implicaciones para la práctica profesional, así como limitaciones y recomendaciones para estudios futuros.

Abstract: This study investigated the effects of perceived parental bonding, sociodemographic and gestational variables on the intensity of maternal-fetal attachment (MFA) in the context of high-risk pregnancies. This is a quantitative, cross-sectional study involving 119 participants. A sociodemographic questionnaire, the Maternal-Fetal Attachment Scale-Brief Version, and the Parental Bonding Instrument were administered. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis were statistically significant (p < .05). The final model explained 28.7 % of the variance in MFA and included the variables of paternal overprotection, paternal care, maternal age, gestational age, and the support from the baby's father. We emphasize that MFA intensity is multidetermined, involving aspects of life history, social, and situational factors. The woman’s perception of paternal bonding during her childhood and adolescence, as well as the support from the baby's father during the gestational period, are highlighted as influential factors for maternal-fetal attachment, indicating the importance of paternal involvement throughout the life cycle. Implications for professional practice, as well as limitations and recommendations for future studies are discussed.
