Na postulação freudiana, amor e ódio marcam a relação da menina com a mãe em função do destino do falo na mulher. Lacan propõe que a mulher está não-toda submetida à lógica fálica e também nisto a devastação encontra seu terreno. Por esperar receber da figura materna mais do que esta é capaz de oferecer - ou seja, uma identificação de mulher - a reivindicação e o ressentimento podem se instalar. Assim, proponho discutir como as duas vertentes da inscrição na mulher - fálica e não-toda fálica - contribuem para devastação, bem como capturo um fragmento de caso visando articular teoria e clínica.

In the Freudian postulate, love and hate are the noted features of the mother-daughter relationship due to the destination of the phallus in women. Lacan proposes that women are not-all subject to the phallic logics and that it is at this point where devastation finds its path to develop. Owing to the fact that girls expect to get from their motherly figures more than they can provide them with - that is, a feminine identification - demand and resentment might set up. Therefore, I propose to discuss how both aspects of the women's inscription - the phallic and the not-all phallic - contribute to devastation, also as I take a case to study aiming to articulate theory and practice.

Na história da psicanálise, a postulação freudiana da primazia do falo na estruturação da sexualidade suscitou uma controvérsia quanto ao seu papel na feminilidade. Com o intuito de retraçarmos essa polêmica, apresentamos a elaboração freudiana, percorremos depois as formulações quanto ao devir-mulher de dois pós-freudianos, Klein e Jones, que especificaram a feminilidade não através da função fálica, mas pelo deslocamento da libido oral para os genitais. Finalmente, mostramos como Lacan interferiu nessa "querela do falo", reconhecendo que uma mulher está inscrita, mas não de todo na lógica fálica e introduzindo a noção de um gozo suplementar feminino.

Throughout the history of psychoanalysis, the freudian postulate of the phallus primacy in the construction of sexuality has resulted in a controversy about its role in femininity. In order to retrace this controversy, we present the freudian approach, then we review formulations on "becoming woman" by two postfreudians, Klein and Jones, who have not specified femininity through the phallic function, but through the shift from oral libido to the genitals. Last, we present how Lacan interfered in that "phallic quarrel", acknowledging that a woman is inscribed but not wholly in the phallic logic and introducing the notion of a supplementary feminine enjoyment.
