Abstract The objective of this essay is to analyze the emergence of the new in science and Epistemology, based on an epistemological assessment of the epistemologists of science and the Information Science researchers. The theoretical contribution of authors such as Bachelard, with the possibility of an epistemological frontier, establishes the foundations of the present paper. However, as the Bachelardian nature was not enough, other fundamental epistemologists from different knowledge areas were used to complement the reflections about the emergence of the new in science, among them: Kuhn with the paradigms, Bourdieu with the idea of scientific field, Morin with epistemology of complexity and Durkheim's coercion. Mainly to the objective of the essay, it was tried to encompass the main theorists that discuss the subject in question and, therefore, the research has a qualitative approach based on the literature review. It is concluded that, given the inability of scientific disciplines to respond to emerging problems that present themselves in contemporary times, the promotion of spaces for epistemic cooperation is essential to generate new Science, new methods, and new interdisciplinary practices that in fact respond to this historical, political, economic, and social moment. Resumo O objetivo deste ensaio é analisar a emergência do “novo” na Ciência e na Epistemologia a partir de uma avaliação epistemológica sobre os epistemólogos das ciências e dos pesquisadores e pesquisadoras da Ciência da Informação. A contribuição teórica de autores como Bachelard, com a possibilidade de uma fronteira epistemológica, funda os alicerces do presente trabalho. Entretanto, não sendo suficiente o cunho Bachelardiano, recorreu-se a outros epistemólogos fundamentais de distintas áreas do saber, para complementar as reflexões sobre o surgimento do “novo” na Ciência, entre eles: Kuhn com os paradigmas, Bourdieu com a ideia de campo científico, Morin com a epistemologia da complexidade e a coerção de Durkheim. Mormente ao objetivo do trabalho, procurou-se abarcar os principais teóricos que discutem o tema em questão e, sendo assim, a pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa alicerçada na revisão da literatura. Conclui-se que diante da incapacidade de as disciplinas científicas responderem aos problemas emergentes que se apresentam na contemporaneidade, o fomento de espaços de cooperação epistêmica é essencial para se gerar nova ciência, novos métodos e novas práticas interdisciplinares que de fato respondam a esse momento histórico, político, econômico e social. ABSTRACT Introdution: Information Science works with information recorded in support of the most varied types, and for its description and subsequent recovery, the process of indexing, reading and document analysis is carried out with the aim of identifying keywords that represent the subjects present in the document. Among the different types of documents, there are filmic documents, a combination of audio and moving image, in which other layers of meaning are present beyond the textual, such as cinematographic language, or editing, and techniques specific to cinema. Objective: The search sought to raise proposals that use cinematographic language as a form of documentary analysis and to present a mode of analysis based on Peircean semiotics. Methodology: Bibliographical research is used with a survey in the BRAPCI and Oasisbr databases with the aim of recovering Brazilian articles that deal with indexing film documents. Results: It is observed that the articles do not specifically deal with cinematographic language, since the way in which the film is organized and structured helps in identifying the subject, the use of semiotics is proposed as a way of identifying, in the different codes and in terms of, the subject addressed. Conclusion: Semiotics makes it possible to analyze parts as components of a whole, helping the indexer in the task of identifying the subject based on the link between character, space, time and location of the plot. Other possible research using semiotics is highlighted, such as the analysis of narrative videos and practices in the development of indexing methods and steps based on semiotics. RESUMO Introdução: A Ciência da Informação trabalha com informação registrada em suporte dos mais variados tipos, e para sua descrição e posterior recuperação, realiza-se o processo de indexação, leitura e análise documental com intuito de identificar palavras-chave que representem os assuntos presentes no documento. Dentre os diversos tipos de documentos, há os documentos fílmicos, junção de áudio e imagem em movimento, em que estão presentes outras camadas de significação para além do textual como a linguagem cinematográfica, ou montagem, e técnicas próprias do cinema. Objetivo: A pesquisa procurou levantar propostas que utilizam a linguagem cinematográfica como forma de análise documental e apresentar um modo de análise a partir da semiótica peirceana. Metodologia: Foi realizada a pesquisa bibliográfica com levantamento nas bases de dados BRAPCI e Oasisbr com intuito de recuperar artigos brasileiros que tratem sobre indexação de documentos fílmicos. Resultados: Observa-se que os artigos não tratam especificamente sobre a linguagem cinematográfica, visto que a forma como o filme é organizado e estruturado auxilia na identificação do assunto, propõe-se o uso da semiótica como forma de identificar, nos diferentes códigos e no plano, o assunto abordado. Conclusão: A semiótica possibilita que se analise partes como componentes de um todo, auxiliando o indexador na tarefa de identificar o assunto a partir do vínculo entre personagem, espaço, tempo e local da trama. ABSTRACT It investigates how the Information Science in Brazil establishes its interdisciplinary dynamics with the French Discourse Analysis, which has unfolded in different theoretical and methodological orders. In addition, it analyzes, from a diachronic perspective, the epistemological interactions between the French aspect of Discourse Analysis and Information Science, especially with regard to the Organization of Information and Knowledge. Through a literature review, it shows the main historical contributions of discourse theory to the informational field in the Brazilian context. Among the theoretical contributions of Discourse Analysis is the The article explores the dialogical relationship that can be established between the French theory of discourse analysis in the Information and Knowledge Organization in the Brazilian context. In the broad sense, the reflective path comprises a possible gnosiology present in the Science of Information and the discursive studies. The focus of this analytical study is on the interdisciplinary issues, as well as on the epistemological relationships, that this dialogue presents for Documentary Analysis. The objective is to establish the interdisciplinary relations of the two areas of study in the Brazilian context, having as a methodological path for the understanding of this diachronic perspective the critical epistemology. Three lines of discourse analysis were chosen for the purpose of the dialogical relationship: the line of Michel Pêcheux, the line of Sociolinguistics and the line of Michel Foucault. RESUMO O artigo explora a relação dialógica que pode ser estabelecida entre a teoria francesa de análise do discurso na Organização da Informação e Conhecimento no âmbito brasileiro. Em sentido amplo o percurso reflexivo compreende uma possível gnosiologia presente na Ciência da Informação e os estudos discursivos. O foco deste estudo analítico está nas questões interdisciplinares, bem como nas relações epistemológicas, que esse diálogo apresenta para Análise Documentária. O objetivo é o estabelecimento das relações interdisciplinares das duas áreas de estudo no contexto brasileiro, tendo como caminho metodológico para o entendimento desta perspectiva diacrônica a epistemologia crítica. Três linhas de análise do discurso foram eleitas para efeitos da relação dialógica: a linha de Michel Pêcheux, a linha da Sociolinguística e a linha de Michel Foucault. A primeira e a terceira estão presentes em trabalhos realizados no âmbito da Ciência da Informação, notadamente nas convergências com a Análise Documentária, tendo como confluência a informação como discurso, o sujeito, a linguagem e a pragmática. Os caminhos possíveis apontam para um cenário afetado por disputas de poder. São relatados neste artigo, os resultados de pesquisas com foco nas representações do campo da Ciência da Informação, produzidas pelos pesquisadores classificados como pertencentes a essa área de conhecimento. O objetivo central do estudo foi conhecer as representações - conhecimentos construídos socialmente por uma comunidade ou grupo de sujeitos - do campo da Ciência da Informação, expressas por seus pesquisadores no Brasil. Esta pesquisa enquadra-se no tipo qualitativo e o método utilizado constou da coleta, análise e interpretação dos discursos do grupo de pesquisadores selecionados. Após a análise dos discursos, chegou-se, entre outros resultados, às representações referentes à relação do campo da Ciência da Informação com a sociedade brasileira. Conclui-se, a partir do discurso dos pesquisadores, que o campo da Ciência da Informação esteve, desde sua origem, distante da realidade nacional.

This article reports the results of researches on the representations of the Information Science field, produced by researchers belonging to this area of knowledge. The representations are socially constructed knowledge, created by a community or group of subjects. The aim of this study was to get accquainted with the representations in the field of Information Science expressed by the researchers of the area in Brazil. This research fits into the qualitative type, and the research method consisted of assessing, analyzing, and interpreting the discourses originated by the group of selected researchers. After the discourse analysis, this study came to some results, central to which were the representations of the relationship between the field of Information Science and the Brazilian society. From such researchers' discourse, the article concludes, that the field of Information Science has been, since its origin, quite distant from Brazilian society reality.
