ABSTRACT: The study aimed to analyze supports offered to Catalan young adults with Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Brazilian context, with the purpose of discussing the offer of public programs focused on people with disabilities, especially at the end of the schooling process. For this, evaluations were applied with Brazilian young adult students with ID and/or ASD to characterize their levels of support and schooling intensities, as well as interviews with Catalan professionals who identified support that could be useful for the educational reality of the participants involved in the study. Thus, the disparity between the two realities was evidenced, demonstrating the need for the development of normative and institutionalization of support for this public, especially in the transition from High School to adult and independent life, in addition to continuing education for teachers and the involvement of interdisciplinary professionals in the school context to provide effective support to students. ABSTRACT: Morphological awareness is characterized by the ability to intentionally reflect and manipulate morphemes. The present study aimed to characterize the development of morphological awareness in school-age children and to analyze its impact on reading and spelling. The sample was comprised of 60 children with typical language development in Portuguese primary schools with a mean age of 8.6 (standard deviation = 0.1), 30of which attended the 2nd grade and 30 the 4th grade. The data was analyzed considering the use of language assessment instruments, reading and spelling and morphological awareness tests adapted from other studies. The results showed a significant difference in morphological awareness between the 2nd grade and the 4th grade. Although with different statistical proportions, there was a positive correlation between morphological awareness and reading, and between this metalinguistic capacity and spelling in both groups. RESUMO: A consciência morfológica é caracterizada pela capacidade de refletir e manipular intencionalmente os morfemas. O presente estudo visou caracterizar o desenvolvimento da consciência morfológica em crianças em idade escolar e analisar o seu impacto na leitura e na ortografia. A amostra foi composta por 60 crianças portuguesas com desenvolvimento linguístico típico a frequentar o 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico, com uma média de idades de 8,6 anos (desvio padrão = 0.1), 30 das quais frequentam o 2º ano e 30 o 4º ano. Os dados foram analisados com recurso a instrumentos de avaliação linguística, leitura e ortografia e testes de consciência morfológica adaptados de outros estudos. ABSTRACT: At the beginning of the 20th century, research related to child development were intensified. Helena Antipoff (1892-1974) was one of the researchers and professors who dedicated her studies to this topic, especially with regard to the development of children known at the time as “abnormal”. One of the instruments that she developed was the Mental Development of a Child Observation Form, in 1939. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO), proposes an assessment of the subject’s condition based on in biological, psychological and social aspects, as opposed to an evaluation based only on the criterion of illness or disability. Thus, the objective of this study was to retrieve the Observation Form proposed by Helena Antipoff and compare it to the ICF, using the guides proposed by Alarcos Cieza e collaborators. RESUMO: No início do século XX, intensificaram-se as pesquisas relacionadas ao desenvolvimento infantil. Helena Antipoff (1892-1974) foi uma pesquisadora e professora que dedicou seus estudos a esse tema, principalmente no que se refere ao desenvolvimento das crianças nomeadas na época como “anormais”. Um dos instrumentos elaborados por ela foi a Ficha de Observação do Desenvolvimento Mental da Criança, em 1939. A Classificação Internacional de Funcionalidade, Incapacidade e Saúde (CIF), proposta pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS), sugere uma avaliação da condição do sujeito baseada nos aspectos biológicos, psíquicos e sociais, em contraposição a uma avaliação baseada somente no critério da doença ou da incapacidade. ABSTRACT: This study compares the physical and social contexts and the pedagogical practice of Early Childhood Education with that of Elementary Education and raises their respective implications for the inclusion of children. Two students with disabilities enrolled in the last grade of the Early Childhood Education participated in this research, in comparison with two other students with disabilities in Elementary School. It is a descriptive investigation of quantitative nature. The method was based on the ethology. The results indicate that in Early Childhood Education there were high levels of social interaction, variability in the use of spaces, more time dedicated to physical activities and orientation of the pedagogical practice centered on interaction. RESUMO: Este estudo compara os contextos físicos, sociais e a prática pedagógica da Educação Infantil com a do Ensino Fundamental e levanta suas respectivas implicações para a inclusão das crianças. Participaram desta pesquisa dois estudantes com deficiência matriculados no último ano da Educação Infantil, comparados com outros dois estudantes com deficiência do Ensino Fundamental. ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify, systematize and evaluate which strategies have been used in Behavior Analysis to teach pre-requisite behaviors for empathizing in children with autism. For this, the following steps were performed: definition of keywords and databases; establishment of inclusion and exclusion criteria for the articles; search and selection of articles; and data analysis, which consisted of analyzing the individual and general quality of the articles and systematizing and analyzing the data of the articles (e.g., year of publication, procedure used, etc.). Eleven articles were selected for analysis. All articles taught one or more empathetic responses, but only two of them used the terminology “empathy” in the objective description. The lack of consensus on the definition of the term makes it difficult to find texts on empathy. As for the quality of the retrieved articles, it was evaluated as high. RESUMO: Este estudo objetivou identificar, sistematizar e avaliar quais estratégias têm sido utilizadas na Análise do Comportamento para o ensino de comportamentos pré-requisito do empatizar a crianças diagnosticadas com autismo. Para isso, realizaram-se as seguintes etapas: definição das palavras-chave e das bases de dados; estabelecimento dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão dos artigos; busca e seleção de artigos; e análise de dados que consistiu na análise da qualidade individual e geral dos artigos e na sistematização e análise de dados dos artigos (e.g., ano de publicação, procedimento empregado etc.). ABSTRACT: This study focused on analyzing the inclusive advances for the population of Special Education in ordinary classrooms in Basic Education, considering teachers’ training need in this specific area. It consists of a quantitative and qualitative approach study, using as empirical sources microdata from Prova Brasil, 2021 edition, more specifically the questionnaires applied to teachers of the 5th grade of Elementary School, which are available on the webpage of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). The extraction of this information and statistical analysis were carried out with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The result of the investigation reveals that the percentage of enrollments for students with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and giftedness in ordinary classrooms, in Brazil, between 2013 and 2019, rose 7.4%. It also points out that 86.5% of the teachers in the investigated sample declared that they had moderate to high training needs. RESUMO: Este estudo teve como escopo analisar os avanços da inclusão do público da Educação Especial nas salas de aula comuns da Educação Básica, considerando as necessidades formativas dos docentes nessa área específica. Consiste em um estudo quantiqualitativo, tendo como fontes empíricas microdados da Prova Brasil, edição 2021, mais especificamente os questionários destinados aos docentes do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental, os quais estão disponíveis no portal do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep). A extração dessas informações e análise estatística foram realizadas com o auxílio do Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). O resultado da investigação revela que o percentual de matrículas dos alunos com deficiência, transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) e altas habilidades em classes comuns, no Brasil, entre 2013 e 2019, cresceu 7,4%. ABSTRACT: This work starts from an approximation between studies carried out in Brazil and Portugal, scenarios in which the fights for recognition of deaf people as participants of a minoritized linguistic community has been the topic of discussions defending a bilingual school. Both contexts are seen from the understanding of school as a place to meet with the difference, with an attentive look into what approximates them and also their singularities, given their historical, political, and social conditions. Interlocutions were held between resistance movements for the maintenance of “School” spaces – Schools for the Deaf (Brazil) and Reference Schools for Bilingual Education for Deaf Students – EREBAS (Portugal) –, as well as the approximation approaching the speeches of deaf students, with the aim of looking at the potentiality of these spaces to enable experiences of being a School. The students – subjects of experience – noticed that the linguistic identification offered by the School for the Deaf/EREBAS is related to access to knowledge, which has been denied – or not guaranteed – in the spaces of the “inclusive school”. RESUMO: Este trabalho parte de uma aproximação entre estudos realizados no Brasil e em Portugal, cenários em que as lutas pelo reconhecimento das pessoas surdas como participantes de uma comunidade linguística minorizada vêm pautando as discussões em defesa de uma escola bilíngue. Olha-se para os dois contextos a partir do entendimento da escola como lugar do encontro com a diferença, dando atenção no que se aproximam e, também, nas suas singularidades, dadas suas condições históricas, políticas e sociais. Realizaram-se interlocuções entre os movimentos de resistência pela manutenção dos espaços “Escola” – Escolas de Surdos (Brasil) e Escolas de Referência para Educação Bilíngue de Alunos Surdos – EREBAS (Portugal) – como também aproximação aos discursos de estudantes surdos, com o objetivo de olhar as potencialidades desses espaços possibilitarem experiências de ser Escola. ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to identify the understanding of people with intellectual disability about the work environment. The research was carried out from the perspective of the historical-cultural psychology, in a qualitative methodology, with the participation of four adults with intellectual disabilities, over 18 years old, through semi-structured interviews with a narrative perspective. The results indicated that the complex concept Inclusion in the Labor Market was formed by seven initial themes (meaning of work; interpersonal relationships; facilities at work; difficulties at work; self-perception – meaning of intellectual disability; perception of the other in relation to the person with intellectual disabilities; and labor perspectives), which in turn were organized into five complex themes (meaning of work, interpersonal relationships, public policies, attitudinal barriers and labor perspectives). The analysis of the conceptual formation indicates that the narratives had several connotations about inclusion in the work environment, which is an important space for human development. It was concluded that the implementation of studies with a view to understanding inclusion in the labor market becomes relevant for the understanding of human development and for the implementation and planning of inclusion public policies. RESUMO: O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a compreensão das pessoas com deficiência intelectual sobre o ambiente de trabalho. A pesquisa foi realizada na perspectiva da psicologia histórico-cultural, em uma metodologia qualitativa, com participação de quatro pessoas com deficiência intelectual, maiores de 18 anos, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas de perspectiva narrativa. Os resultados indicaram que o conceito complexo Inclusão no Mercado de Trabalho foi formado por sete temas iniciais (sentido do trabalho; relações interpessoais; facilidades no trabalho; dificuldades no trabalho; autopercepção – significado da deficiência intelectual; percepção do outro em relação à pessoa com deficiência intelectual; e perspectivas laborais), que, por sua vez, foram organizados em cinco temas complexos (sentido do trabalho, relações interpessoais, políticas públicas, barreiras atitudinais e perspectivas laborais). A análise da formação conceitual indica que as narrativas apresentaram diversas conotações sobre a inclusão no ambiente de trabalho, sendo um importante espaço de desenvolvimento humano. ABSTRACT: This essay is the result of the first author’s experience as a music educator and coordinator of the Extension Program “Música na APAE” from the Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Here, we present some reflections that have originated from her Doctoral research, based on the phenomenological approach, primarily influenced by the philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty. The phenomenological conception of education and a more open attitude toward perceiving children with Intellectual Functional Diversity [IFD] in their genuine musical expressiveness have guided our perspective and the scene descriptions presented, representing a moment of reflection and self-criticism for the educator who is always seeking means to enhance the learning of children with IFD and make it more meaningful. We used class registration material, such as field diaries and recordings, which were produced to document the development of the Program. RESUMO: Este ensaio é fruto da experiência da primeira autora como educadora musical e coordenadora do Programa de Extensão “Música na Apae” da Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei, Minas Gerais. Apresentamos, aqui, algumas reflexões que deram origem à sua pesquisa de Doutorado, pautadas na abordagem fenomenológica, principalmente do filósofo Maurice Merleau-Ponty. A concepção fenomenológica de educação e a atitude mais aberta para enxergar a criança com Diversidade Funcional Intelectual [DFI] na sua expressividade musical genuína guiaram nosso olhar e orientaram as descrições das cenas aqui apresentadas, representando um momento de reflexão e, também, de autocrítica do educador, que está sempre em busca de meios, os quais possam ampliar a aprendizagem das crianças com DFI e torná-la mais significativa. Utilizamos o material de registro das aulas, como os diários de campo e gravações, que foram feitos para a documentação do desenvolvimento do Programa. RESUMEN: Los intérpretes en Lengua de Señas Chilena (ILSCh) constituyen un recurso para la inclusión, eliminando barreras de estudiantes sordos que manejan la modalidad visual-gestual para comunicarse. Chile tiene normativa que favorece la participación del ILSCh en distintos ámbitos, y este estudio se centró en los intérpretes en contexto escolar, considerando que existe un desconocimiento de los procesos, implementación, resultados, logros y situación laboral. Las interrogantes del estudio fueron: ¿cuál es el estado actual del ILSCh, las trayectorias formativas, el rol y los desafíos de su quehacer? El objetivo general fue describir la figura del ILSCh y los desafíos que enfrenta en su desempeño laboral en contexto escolar, situados en las regiones Metropolitana y Valparaíso, Chile. ABSTRACT: The interpreters in Chilean Sign Language (ILSCh) constitute a resource for inclusion, eliminating the barriers of deaf students who use the visual-gestural modality to communicate. Chile has regulations that favor the participation of the ILSCh in different áreas, and this study focused on interpreters in the school context, considering that there is a lack of knowledge of the processes, implementation, results, achievements and employment situation. The questions of the study were: What is the current state of the ILSCh, its formative trajectories, its role and the challenges of its work? The general objective was to describe the figure of the ILSCh and the challenges it faces in its work performance in the school context, located in the Metropolitan and Valparaíso regions, Chile. The approach was qualitative, interpretative, phenomenographic, descriptive and transactional design, the sample intentional by criteria of 24 school level interpreters. The information collection techniques were: identification form, interview and focus group. The transcripts were analyzed with the Atlas TI software. The results show the diversity in the training, focused on the vocabulary of the language, with minimal lines of the educational context, lack of knowlegde of the role, requests for tasks outside their functions and work situations without regulation and diversity of leadership. ABSTRACT: In this work, it was sought to discuss the recontextualization of the political discourse of inclusion in the educational context, based on the Decree nº 10,502/2020 and the Brazilian Common Core State Standards (known by the acronym BNCC), with approaches to Bernstein’s theory. It is qualitative documentary research analyzed through the content analysis described by Bardin. The results highlight the erasure of the word “inclusion” and the lack of provision regarding the provision of accessibility. It is understood that this evidence allows the understanding of a distance between curriculum, planning, pedagogical practices and inclusive education with regard to the diversities found in the school context, a connection evidenced by Decree nº 10,502/2020. It is noteworthy that the Decree was judged as a Direct Action of Unconstitutionality for violating constitutional articles by allowing the segregation of people with disabilities, leading to its repeal on January 1st, 2023. Based on this study, it is concluded that both the BNCC and the aforementioned Decree have their paths marked by the field of recontextualization, according to Bernstein’s theory, which shows how the distribution of power in society and its principles of social control can affect the political text produced and its reproduction in the school context. RESUMO: Neste trabalho, buscou-se discutir a recontextualização do discurso político de inclusão no contexto educacional, a partir do Decreto nº 10.502/2020 e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), com aproximações à teoria de Bernstein. Trata-se de uma pesquisa documental, qualitativa, analisada por meio da análise de conteúdo descrita por Bardin. Os resultados evidenciam o apagamento da palavra “inclusão” e a falta de previsão quanto à oferta das acessibilidades. Entende-se que esse indício permite a compreensão de um distanciamento entre currículo, planejamento, práticas pedagógicas e Educação Inclusiva no que tange às diversidades encontradas no contexto escolar, articulação evidenciada pelo Decreto nº 10.502/2020. Destaca-se que o Decreto foi julgado como Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade por ferir artigos constitucionais ao possibilitar a segregação de pessoas com deficiência, ocasionando a sua revogação no dia 1º de janeiro de 2023. Conclui-se, a partir deste estudo, que tanto a BNCC quanto o referido Decreto possuem seus percursos marcados pelo campo da recontextualização, conforme a teoria de Bernstein aponta, o que mostra como a distribuição do poder na sociedade e seus princípios de controle social podem afetar o texto político produzido e a sua reprodução no contexto escolar. ABSTRACT: This research aimed to understand the challenges and possibilities of translation and storytelling in the Brazilian Sign Language (known by the acronym LIBRAS) of the stories present in the book O homem que calculava [The man who counted] by the Brazilian modernist writer Malba Tahan. This is a qualitative investigation that focused on the audiovisual translation process of the stories present in the book, on the adaptations made in its narratives, the preparation resources for the production and editing of the videos, the implementation of graphic and visual resources and, finally, its dissemination as a research product. The analyzes indicate the didactic potential that emerges in the interaction between those involved in the process of translating the stories: teachers, interpreters and students (deaf and hearing), enabling forms of artistic expression that explore the inherent visuality of sign language combined with graphic resources, taking the narratives as a central element for the creative development anchored in the teaching of Mathematics through the reading and interpretation of stories. RESUMO: Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo compreender os desafios e as possibilidades de tradução e contação em Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) das histórias presentes no livro O homem que Calculava, do escritor modernista brasileiro Malba Tahan. Tratase de uma investigação qualitativa que se debruçou sobre o processo de tradução audiovisual das histórias presentes no livro, as adaptações feitas em suas narrativas, os recursos de preparação para a produção e edição dos vídeos, a implementação de recursos gráficos e visuais e, por fim, sua divulgação como produto da pesquisa. As análises indicam o potencial didático que emerge na interação entre os envolvidos no processo de tradução das histórias: professores, intérpretes e discentes (surdo e ouvinte), possibilitando formas de expressão artísticas que exploram a visualidade inerente da língua de sinais aliada a recursos gráficos, tomando as narrativas como elemento central para o desenvolvimento criativo ancorado no ensino da Matemática por meio da leitura e da interpretação de histórias. ABSTRACT: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by harmful levels of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity. Results obtained from research on the impact of ADHD on adolescents were investigated and the PRISMA 2020 recommendation was used. The databases consulted: were APA PsycNet, Lilacs, Medline, PubMed Central, Scorpus, SciELO, from the following descriptors: Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade, TDAH, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD and Adolescente, Adolescentes, Adolescência, Adolescent, Teenager and Adolescence. The inclusion criteria were: articles published in journals between January 2001 and January 2021, in Portuguese and English, complete and available online, empirical studies, peer reviewed, with adolescents as participants and presenting in the title, abstract or body of the text the referred descriptors. The data were processed and organized according to the check list (PRISMA 2020 recommendation). Descriptive statistical analyzes were performed using Excel 2019. The PRISMA flowchart, table and figures were used to present the results. Sixty-eight articles were included that pointed to a variety of negative impacts on adolescent development in the social/relational, behavioral, biological, neurological, cognitive, psychological and psychopathological areas. A possible limitation of this review may be the non-inclusion of articles in languages other than English and Portuguese. The results suggest the multidimensionality of the impacts of ADHD on adolescents, requiring a multidimensional approach to avoid chronicity, reducing its effects on development. RESUMO: Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção com Hiperatividade (TDAH) é um transtorno do neurodesenvolvimento caracterizado por níveis prejudiciais de desatenção e/ou hiperatividade-impulsividade. Foram investigados resultados obtidos em pesquisas sobre impactos do TDAH ao adolescente e foi utilizada a recomendação PRISMA 2020. ABSTRACT: This article aims to reflect on the aspirations of 11 managers from a Federal Institute regarding Giftedness and to present recommendations related to these aspirations in the process of construction of a continuous education that meets the subjects researched. The research adopted a qualitative approach with participant observation, and the data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed based on Interpretative Descriptive Analysis. The results indicate that the managers have basic knowledge of the concept and characteristics of students with Giftedness, according to Renzulli’s Three-Ring Theory, Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, and current legal documents. However, discrepancies were identified regarding institutional support provided by the campus and the identification and support of students with Giftedness. In conclusion, it is necessary to deepen and professionalize the processes related to Giftedness through continuous education that encompasses both theoretical and practical aspects of this field and meets the needs of the managers surveyed. RESUMO: Este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre os anseios de 11 gestores de um Instituto Federal em relação às Altas Habilidades ou Superdotação (AHSD) e apresentar encaminhamentos relativos a esses anseios no processo de construção de uma formação continuada que atenda aos sujeitos pesquisados. A pesquisa adotou uma abordagem qualitativa com observação participante, e os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e analisados com base na Análise Descritiva Interpretativa. Os resultados indicam que os gestores possuem conhecimentos básicos sobre o conceito e as características dos estudantes com AHSD, de acordo com a Teoria dos Três Anéis de Renzulli, a Teoria das Inteligências Múltiplas de Gardner e os documentos legais vigentes. No entanto, foram identificadas discrepâncias em relação ao apoio institucional oferecido pelo campus e à identificação e ao atendimento dos estudantes com AHSD. Por fim, conclui-se que é necessário aprofundar e profissionalizar os processos relacionados às AHSD, a partir de uma formação continuada que englobe aspectos teóricos e práticos dessa área e que atenda aos gestores pesquisados.
