RESUMO A trilha do Pessegueirinho é um bosque com vegetação Ombrófila Mista dentro do domínio da Mata Atlântica, localizado ao lado da sede da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina no município de Curitibanos. O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar o levantamento das briófitas da trilha do Pessegueirinho. As coletas foram realizadas entre os anos de 2016 a 2020, sendo coletadas briófitas em todos os substratos disponíveis como solo, troncos de árvores e rochas. As coletas foram georreferenciadas e fotografadas in loco, com imagens adicionais feitas na câmera acoplada do estereomicroscópio. Foram coletados 352 espécimes e identificadas 109 espécies (82 musgos, 25 hepáticas e dois antóceros), das quais 26 são novas ocorrências para o Estado de Santa Catarina. As famílias de musgos com maior diversidade de espécies foram Sematophyllaceae (nove spp.), Fissidentaceae (oito spp.), Dicranaceae e Orthotrichaceae (ambas com seis spp.). Em hepáticas a família com o maior número de espécies foi Lejeuneaceae (seis spp.).
ABSTRACT The Pessegueirinho trail is a forest with mixed Ombrophilous vegetation within the domain of the Atlantic Forest. It is located in the municipality of Curitibanos, next to the campus of Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. This study aimed to survey the bryophytes on the Pessegueirinho trail. The collections were carried out between the years 2016 to 2020, with bryophytes collected on all available substrates such as soil, tree trunks, and rocks. The collections were georeferenced and photographed in loco, with additional images taken in the coupled camera of the stereomicroscope. As result, 352 specimens were collected in the study area, and 109 species were identified (82 mosses, 25 liverworts, and two hornworts), of which 26 are new occurrences for the Santa Catarina State. The families of mosses with the most diversity was Sematophyllaceae (nine spp.), followed by Fissidentaceae (eight spp.) by Dicranaceae, and Orthotrichaceae (both with six spp.). In liverwort, the family with the greatest number of species was Lejeuneaceae (six spp.).
