Abstract This paper analyzed bills with the goal of creating Heterosexual Pride Day at the municipal, state and federal levels. The Content Analysis carried out in the justifications of the presented bills, identified that for the Brazilian parliamentarians who proposed them, the need to institutionalize the Heterosexual Pride Day is related to the defense of the traditional family, moral and religious values and the idea that heterosexuality is at risk. In addition, the crisis of masculinity is used as an analytical category to relate such bills in an international movement of opposition to the policies of promotion of rights for the LGBTQIA+.

Resumo Este trabalho analisou proposições legislativas com o objetivo de criar o dia do orgulho heterossexual em municípios, estados e em nível federal. A análise de conteúdo, realizada nas justificativas dos projetos de lei apresentados, identificou que, para os parlamentares brasileiros que os propuseram, a necessidade de institucionalizar o orgulho heterossexual está relacionada à defesa da família tradicional, a valores morais e religiosos e à ideia de que a heterossexualidade está em risco. Além disso, utiliza-se a crise da masculinidade como categoria analítica para relacionar tais projetos de lei em um movimento internacional de oposição às políticas de promoção de direitos destinados à população LGBTQIA+.

O surgimento do sindicalismo docente de educação básica constitui o objeto de análise deste artigo. São estudados dois casos de formação de sindicatos: São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro. A questão subjacente consiste em entender porque o sindicalismo docente surgiu décadas após o sindicalismo operário no Brasil. Para a construção de organização sindical são necessárias condições objetivas e subjetivas de parte do grupo social em movimento. Nossa hipótese é de que condições relativas à formação da consciência dos trabalhadores assalariados, tanto quanto condições objetivas, são imprescindíveis para qualquer tipo de organização sindical, particularmente para os docentes de educação básica.

This article deals with the emergence of elementary school teachers' labor unions. Two case studies are analyzed, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The aim of this paper is to understand why teachers' unions were created decades after the emergence of working class unions. The creation of labor unions by the social group in question requires objective and subjective conditions. Our hypothesis is that, besides the objective conditions, rising worker's awareness is also essential for the emergence of any type of union organization, particularly teachers' labor unions.
