ABSTRACT Background: The World Health Organization recommends a market-ready, urine-based point-of-care diagnostic test for circulating cathodic antigens (CCA) to determine the prevalence of S. mansoni. This study evaluated the performance of the URINE CCA (SCHISTO) ECO TESTE® (POC-ECO), which is currently available in Brazil. Methods: Residents from eight sites with different prevalence estimates provided one urine sample for POC-ECO and one stool sample for Kato-Katz (KK) and Helmintex® (HTX) testing as an egg-detecting reference for infection status. Results: None of the study sites had significantly higher POC-ECO accuracy than KK. Conclusions: POC-ECO is not currently recommended in Brazilian schistosomiasis elimination programs.

ABSTRACT Background: The long-term effects of schistosomiasis on the glomerulus may contribute to the development of chronic kidney disease. This study aimed to investigate baseline Schistosoma mansoni-Circulating Anodic Antigen (CAA) levels and their association with kidney biomarkers related to podocyte injury and inflammation in long-term follow-up after praziquantel (PZQ) treatment. Methods: Schistosoma infection was diagnosed by detecting CAA in urine using a quantitative assay based on lateral flow using luminescent up-converting phosphor reporter particles. A cutoff threshold of 0.1 pg/mL CAA was used to diagnose Schistosoma infection (baseline) in a low-prevalence area in Ceará, Northeast, Brazil. Two groups were included: CAA-positive and CAA-negative individuals, both of which received a single dose of PZQ at baseline. Urinary samples from 55 individuals were evaluated before (baseline) and at 1, 2, and 3 years after PZQ treatment. At all time points, kidney biomarkers were quantified in urine and adjusted for urinary creatinine levels. Results: CAA-positive patients had increased baseline albuminuria and proteinuria and showed greater associations between kidney biomarkers. CAA levels correlated only with Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) (podocyte injury) levels. Increasing trends were observed for malondialdehyde (oxidative stress), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (inflammation marker), and VEGF. In the follow-up analysis, no relevant differences were observed in kidney biomarkers between the groups and different periods. Conclusions: S. mansoni-infected individuals presented subclinical signs of glomerular damage that may reflect podocyte injury. However, no causal effect on long-term renal function was observed after PZQ treatment.

Abstract Introduction: Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) is the most common human prion disease. Most cases are sporadic and occur as rapidly progressive dementia. In this case, the authors highlight the importance of the initial suspicion of a CJD, despite its rarity, in order to anticipate health and social needs. Case description: A 53-year-old woman went to her Family Health Unit for dizziness, imbalance, and dysthymic mood. A few days later, she presented with horizontal nystagmus, gait ataxia, and dysmetria of the upper limbs, for which she was referred to neurology for observation. In a few weeks, the clinical picture evolved into difficulty in performing activities of daily living, apathy, poor speech, memory difficulties, and dressing apraxia. Neurological examination revealed left hyperreflexia, left extension cutaneous-plantar reflex, a dystonic posture of both upper limbs, and spontaneous myoclonus, with a startle to sound stimulus. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed signals suggestive of CJD. Electroencephalography (EEG) and the 14-3-3 positive protein supported the diagnosis. Neurological status deteriorated rapidly, with progression to akinetic mutism, spastic tetraparesis, and death. Comment: CJD should be considered in the presence of rapidly progressive dementia and myoclonus. Cerebellar manifestations are initial symptoms in 20% to 40% of cases. Diffusion MRI, 14-3-3 protein detection, and EEG are useful for diagnosis. A definitive diagnosis requires a combination of neuropathological findings. Treatment is only supportive and the outcome is fatal, and it is crucial to show availability and support in medical, psychological, social, and family matters.

Resumo Introdução: A doença de Creutzfeldt-Jakob (DCJ) é a mais comum das doenças priónicas humanas. A maioria dos casos é esporádica e apresenta-se como demência rapidamente progressiva. Este caso pretende alertar para a importância da suspeição inicial de uma DCJ, apesar da sua raridade, de modo a reconhecer os primeiros sinais e sintomas, muitas vezes inespecíficos, e realizar uma referenciação célere aos cuidados de saúde secundários para diagnóstico e seguimento precoces. Descrição do caso: Mulher de 53 anos, sem antecedentes de relevo, que recorreu a consulta aberta da sua Unidade de Saúde Familiar por tonturas, desequilíbrio e humor distímico. Dias mais tarde apresentou-se com nistagmo horizontal, ataxia da marcha e dismetria dos membros superiores, pelo que foi orientada para observação por neurologia. O quadro clínico evoluiu em poucas semanas, com dificuldade em executar atividades da vida diária, apatia, discurso pobre, dificuldades na memória e apraxia para vestir. O exame neurológico revelou hiperreflexia esquerda, reflexo cutâneo-plantar esquerdo em extensão, postura distónica de ambos os membros superiores e mioclonias espontâneas de novo, com startle marcado com estímulo sonoro. A ressonância magnética (RM) mostrou sinais sugestivos de DCJ. A eletroencefalografia (EEG) e a proteína 14-3-3 positiva suportaram o diagnóstico. O estado neurológico deteriorou-se rapidamente, com evolução para mutismo acinético, tetraparésia espástica e morte. Comentário: A DCJ deve ser considerada perante a combinação de demência rapidamente progressiva e mioclonias estimulossensitivas. Manifestações cerebelosas constituem sintomas de apresentação em 20% a 40% dos casos. A RM, a proteína 14-3-3 e o EEG são úteis para o diagnóstico. O diagnóstico definitivo requer a combinação com os achados neuropatológicos. O tratamento é apenas de suporte e o desfecho fatal, sendo fulcral mostrar disponibilidade e apoio nas questões médicas, psicológicas e sociofamiliares.

ABSTRACT Background: We analyzed the trends and spatial patterns of schistosomiasis-related mortality in Northeast Brazil in 2000-2019. Methods: A mixed population-based ecological study was conducted, using information on the underlying or associated causes of death. We used Joinpoint regression analysis to calculate the trends. The spatial analysis included rates, spatial moving averages, and standardized mortality rates. The spatial dependence analysis was based on Getis-Ord's G and Gi* indices (Gi star) and local Moran’s index to check for autocorrelation. Results: A total of 5,814,268 deaths were recorded, of which 9,276 (0.16%) were schistosomiasis-related; 51.0% (n=4,732, adjusted rate 0.90/100,000 inhabitants [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.88-0.93]) were males; 40.0% (n=3,715, adjusted rate 7.40/100.000 inhabitants [95%CI: 7.16-7.64]) were ≥70 years old; 54.8% (n=5,087, crude rate 0.80/100,000 inhabitants) were of mixed/Pardo-Brazilian ethnicity; and 77.9% (n=7,229, adjusted rate 0.86/100,000 inhabitants [95%CI: 0.84-0.88]) lived outside state capitals. The highest proportion of deaths was in the state of Pernambuco (53.9%, n=4,996, adjusted rate 2.72/100,000 inhabitants [95%CI: 2.64-2.79]). Increasing mortality rate was verified in the state of Sergipe. On the coast of the state of Rio Grande do Norte and Bahia, there was spatial dependence of spatio-temporal risk patterns with clusters. Throughout the study period, we found positive spatial autocorrelation and cluster formation. Conclusions: In Northeast Brazil, schistosomiasis persists with a high mortality rate, especially in the coastal region, with heterogeneous spatial and temporal patterns. To eliminate schistosomiasis by 2030, it is necessary to strengthen the financing and management of the unified health system (SUS).

RESUMO Este artigo busca caracterizar as práticas de letramentos literários realizadas no primeiro dia da oficina de sarau ministrada pelo Coletivoz Sarau de Periferia, em junho de 2017, no Centro Cultural Urucuia, localizado na região do Barreiro, em Belo Horizonte. Esse coletivo, fundado pelo poeta Rogério Coelho, nasceu em 2008 inspirado no Sarau da Cooperifa de São Paulo, vinculando-se, assim, ao movimento e à cena da literatura marginal da periferia da capital paulista. A oficina faz parte do projeto Coletivoz Oficina de Saraus, voltado para alunos da rede pública de ensino, com o objetivo de incentivar a leitura literária e a escrita criativa por meio da performance poética que circula nos saraus periféricos de literatura marginal contemporânea. Por meio de observação participante e gravação de áudio, foram analisadas algumas ações, discussões e falas dos oficineiros e dos estudantes. Como fundamentação teórica, foram utilizados os conceitos: de práticas de letramento, de Brian Street (2014), de letramento literário, de Graça Paulino e Rildo Cosson (2009), e de letramentos de reexistência, de Ana Lúcia Silva Souza (2011). Observamos que os eventos e as práticas de letramento da oficina são marcados pela interação das fórmulas rituais dos saraus das periferias com as da escola, incorporadas nos participantes e recriadas nesse encontro fora dos bares e da instituição escolar. Nessa interação, cria-se a possibilidade de a escola revisitar suas práticas de letramento, ampliando seu repertório, revendo suas metodologias e também contribuindo com práticas de letramentos literários de reexistências.

ABSTRACT This paper aims the characterization of the literary literacy practices performed on the first day of the soiree workshop lead by Coletivoz Sarau de Periferia, in June 2017, at the Urucuia Cultural Center. This Collective, founded by the poet Rogerio Coelho, was born in 2008, inspired by the Cooperifa Soiree of São Paulo, thus linking itself to the movement and scene of marginal literature of São Paulo´s periphery. The workshop is part of the Project Coletivoz Soirees, directed to public school students, with the aim of encouraging literary reading and creative writing through the poetic performance that circulates at the perpheric soirées of contemporary marginal literature. Through participant observation and audio recording some actions, discussions and lines of the students and oficineiros were analyzed. The concepts of literacy practices (STREET, 2014), literary literacy (PAULINO e COSSON, 2009) and reexistence literacy (SOUZA, 2011) constitute the theorerical basis of the discussion. It was observed that the events and the workshop literacy practices are characterized by the interaction of the ritual formula of the soirees in the peripheries with the ones of the schools, incorporated in the participants and recreated in these meetings outside the bars and the educational institutions. In this interaction, it is created for the school a possibility to revisit its literacy pratices, broadening its repertoire, reviewing its methodology and in addition it contributes to its literary literacy practices of reexistence.

Resumo Diante do cenário de crises e mudanças socioambientais, o objetivo é: (a) indicar a uma epistemologia ancorada na lente ecofeminista para entender as relações humanas e as relações com o ambiente em certo contexto social; (b) propor uma cosmovisão segundo a abordagem aqui denominada ecopsicossocial com base na compatibilidade e na complementaridade. A partir de uma pesquisa em andamento, cujo estudo de caso são as mulheres nas comunidades de pesca na região de Arraial do Cabo/RJ, o artigo apresenta uma revisão de documentos relativos à atividade, e análise qualitativa de depoimentos das mulheres da pesca no documentário Ardentia. Considerados os sentimentos e as ações das pescadoras - que, paulatinamente ultrapassam suas limitações na ação cotidiana e na reflexão constante sobre seu papel - conclui-se que o fazer feminino se articula na superação, na renovação e na reapropriação de um sentido que está sendo reinventado por elas: o lugar da mulher na pesca.

Abstract In view of the current scenery of crises and socioenvironmental changes, the goal is: (a) to indicate an epistemology anchored in the ecofeminist lens to understand human relationships and relationships with the environment in a certain social context; (b) to propose a worldview according to the approach here called na ecopsychosocial based on compatibility and complementarity. Based on an ongoing research, whose case studies are women in artisanal fishing communities in the region of “Arraial do Cabo/RJ”, the article presents a review of documents related to the activity, and qualitative analysis of the documentary “Ardentia”. Taken into account the feelings and actions of the fisherwomen - who gradually overcome their limitations through daily action and constant reflection about their role - the conclusion is that this feminine activity is overcoming, renewing, reappropriating and completely redefining women´s place in the fishing scenario .

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é, a partir da DGABr, que confi gura uma métrica alternativa criada em tese de doutorado de 2018, mensurar os dados governamentais abertos de outros países da América Latina. O objetivo geral foi subdivido em três objetivos específi cos: (1) identifi car os países da América Latina que possuem legislação sobre acesso à informação/política de dados abertos defi nida; (2) identifi car as legislações mais abrangentes e com maiores critérios de avaliação dos dados governamentais abertos; e (3) analisar a DGABr com base em outras legislações a fi m de propor adequações para sua utilização em outros países.Nesse sentido, investigaram-se as legislações de acesso à informação dos países da América Latina a partir do ranking Global Right to Information Rating, que avalia as legislações de acesso à informação a nível mundial. A legislação do México foi escolhida como referência para comparação com a DGABr, pois atingiu, no ranking, a maior pontuação da América Latina. Analisando a legislação mexicana, foram identifi cados itens a serem incluídos na DGABr e também muitas semelhanças que já são avaliadas pela DGABr. Conclui-se que a DGABr permite adaptações e pode ser empregada em diferentes contextos e países da América Latina.

Abstract The objective of this article is to use the DGABr, an alternative metric created, in a doctoral thesis of 2018, to evaluate the Open Government Data of Brazil, to measure the open government data of other Latin American countries. The overall objective was subdivided into three specific objectives: (1) Identify the countries of Latin America that have defi ned access to information/opendata policy legislation; (2) Identify the most comprehensive legislation and criteria for assessing open government data; and (3) Analyzethe DGABr based on other legislation and propose adjustments for its use in other countries. In this sense, the legislation on access to information of Latin American countries was investigated, based on the Global Right to Information Rating ranking, which assesses legislation on access to information worldwide. The legislation of Mexico was chosen as reference for comparison with the DGABr,having reached in the ranking, the highest score in Latin America. Analyzing Mexican legislation, items to be included in the DGABr wereidentified and many similarities were already evaluated by the DGABr. It is concluded that the DGABr allows adaptations and can be used in different contexts and countries of Latin America.

Resumo: Neste artigo, investigamos a tradição e a inovação na obra A Bela e a Adormecida por meio da análise da construção da narrativa, considerando o importante papel do projeto gráfico e das ilustrações. Dessa forma, abordamos as colaborações entre dois importantes autores britânicos: o escritor Neil Gaiman e o ilustrador Chris Riddell. Como referencial teórico priorizamos os estudos sobre ilustração e projeto gráfico de livros infantis - Nikolajeva e Scott, Moraes, Linden, Ramos -, dialogando com estudos sobre contos de fadas - Betelheim, Coelho, Corso e Corso. Pudemos observar que mesmo não se tratando de um livro ilustrado, de acordo com a concepção inglesa de picturebook, a narrativa é contada não apenas pelo texto escrito, mas também pelas ilustrações e pelo projeto gráfico. O diálogo entre escritor e ilustrador e a liberdade que este teve para apresentar seu ponto de vista foram fundamentais para o sucesso da obra.

Abstract: We investigate in this article tradition and innovation in the book The Sleeper and the Spindle through the analysis of the narrative construction. We also look upon the important role played by the graphic project and illustrations in this book. Thus, we address in our analysis the collaboration between two important British authors: the writer Neil Gaiman and the illustrator Chris Riddell. We prioritize as theoretical reference for this study the research made on illustration and graphical project of children books by Nikolajeva e Scott, Moraes, Linden, Ramos. We also employ the studies of fairy tales by Betelheim, Coelho, Corso e Corso. Taking into consideration that the book cannot be categorized as a picturebook as defined by the British concept, the narrative is not only told by its texts, but also by its illustrations and graphic project, as highlighted in this essay. The dialogue between writer and illustrator and the freedom that the latter had to present his point of view were the milestone for the success of this book.

Objective: analyze the diffusion of the technological innovation “e-SUS AB strategy” in a Family health team in the West of Minas Gerais. Method: single case study with a qualitative approach in the light of the Innovation Diffusion Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model. The data collection included an interview and direct observation of a team’s daily work. The data were systemized in the software Atlas ti and analyzed through Content Analysis. Results: the innovation supports the care planning because it makes individualized data available and improves the daily work. Nevertheless, its diffusion has predominantly produced a work overload and other difficulties that limit its acceptance by the health professionals. Conclusion: the diffusion of the e-SUS AB strategy as a technological innovation has presented situations that strengthen its acceptance, but situations that can lead to its rejection were predominant.

Objetivo: analizar la difusión de la innovación tecnológica “estrategia e-SUS AB” en un equipo de salud de la familia del oeste de Minas Gerais. Método: estudio de caso único con enfoque cualitativo a la luz de la Teoría de Difusión de Innovaciones y del Modelo de Aceptación de Tecnología. Para recolectar los datos se llevaron a cabo entrevista y observación directa del trabajo cotidiano de un equipo. Los datos fueron sistematizados en el software Atlas ti y analizados a través del Análisis de Contenido. Resultados: la innovación provee apoyo en la planificación de la atención por disponer de datos individualizados, además de perfeccionar el trabajo cotidiano. Sin embargo, su difusión ha generado predominantemente sobrecarga de trabajo y otras dificultades que representan limitadores de su aceptación por los profesionales de salud. Conclusión: la difusión de la estrategia e-SUS AB como una innovación tecnológica ha presentado situaciones que potencializan su aceptación, pero predominaron situaciones que pueden llevar a su rechazo.

Objetivo: analisar a difusão da inovação tecnológica “estratégia e-SUS AB” em uma equipe de saúde da família do oeste de Minas Gerais. Método: estudo de caso único de abordagem qualitativa à luz da Teoria da Difusão da Inovação e do Modelo de Aceitação de Tecnologia. A coleta de dados compreendeu entrevista e observação direta do cotidiano de trabalho de uma equipe. Os dados foram sistematizados no software Atlas ti e analisados através da Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: a inovação proporciona suporte no planejamento da assistência por dispor de dados individualizados, além de aprimorar o cotidiano de trabalho. Entretanto, sua difusão tem gerado, predominantemente, sobrecarga de trabalho e outras dificuldades que se conformam como limitadores de sua aceitação pelos profissionais de saúde. Conclusão: a difusão da estratégia e-SUS AB como uma inovação tecnológica tem apresentado situações potencializadoras de sua aceitação, porém predominaram situações que podem conduzir à sua rejeição.

ABSTRACT The wide eco-bio-social intervention generated by the SaoFrancisco River Integration Project (PISF) may contribute to the dispersion or introduction of schistosomiasis intermediate hosts in areas without prior recording. The objective was to characterize the limnic malacofauna and its distribution along watersheds involved in the PISF. A cross-sectional study based on the collection of mollusks from 33 water bodies, from Aurora, Brejo Santo, Jaguaretama, Jaguaribara, Jati e Mauriti municipalities in the Ceara (CE) State was developed. The conchological characteristics were used to identify snails at the genus level. The snails of the genus Biomphalaria were analyzed for the presence of Schistosoma mansoni cercariae and the molecular identification (only mollusks from Brejo Santo-CE) for differentiation between species. The following species were found: Biomphalaria sp.; Drepanotrema sp.; Melanoides sp.; Physa sp.; and Pomacea sp. Pomacea sp. (75.8%) and Biomphalaria sp. (72.7%) were the most prevalent species. All municipalities showed Biomphalaria sp. Biomphalaria straminea (Porcos Stream) and Biomphalaria kuhniana was identified in the Boi 1 and Cipo reservoirs (Brejo Santo). The evaluated municipalities under the influence of the PISF present areas with potential for schistosomiasis transmission. It is necessary to intensify control actions and health surveillance in these areas.

Abstract INTRODUCTION: The development of the São Francisco River Integration Project [Projeto de Integração do Rio São Francisco (PISF)] in the State of Ceará, Brazil, has resulted in environmental and socioeconomic changes with potential risks to public health. We aimed to determine the presence of Schistosoma mansoni infections in schoolchildren (aged 7-14 years) and workers from the construction site in an area under the direct influence of the PISF in the municipality of Brejo Santo-CE, to aid in the prevention and control of schistosomiasis. METHODS: We conducted a cross-sectional study using two S. mansoni-detection methods: detection of S. mansoni eggs by the Kato-Katz parasitological method in stool samples (assessed in triplicate for each sample) and S. mansoni circulating cathodic antigen by the point-of-care immunochromatographic rapid test (POC-CCA) in urine. RESULTS In general, the positivity rates for S. mansoni detection were 1.9% (2/106) among schoolchildren and 2.9% (4/138) among workers. No child had evidence of S. mansoni eggs in their stools; 1.9% tested positive by the POC-CCA method. Among workers, two (1.4%) tested positive by the Kato-Katz test and three (2.2%) by the POC-CCA test. If the POC-CCA test results that were scored as traces were considered negative, then the positivity rates dropped to 0.9% and 0.7% for schoolchildren and workers, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The active transmission of schistosomiasis in a region covered by the PISF was recognized, reinforcing the necessity to consolidate surveillance and control actions, as well as structural sanitation measures to reverse the social determinants of the disease.

O Estudo de abordagem qualitativa que teve como objetivo analisar o contexto atual de definição e implementação da Política Nacional de Informação e Informática em Saúde (PNIIS). Realizaram-se pesquisa documental e aplicação de um formulário online aos envolvidos com a definição da PNIIS no cenário nacional. Os dados coletados foram analisados por meio da Análise de Conteúdo, modalidade Temático Categorial. Verificou-se que a PNIIS em construção é alvo de debates e proposições em diversas instâncias. Normativas emergem em paralelo para regulamentar ações de informação e informática em saúde. A participação da população na construção desta política e a convergência das leis, normas, resoluções e instâncias para a formulação de uma política comum, reconhecida, legitimada e implementada são desafios, bem como articulação entre o público e o privado. Conclui-se que o panorama da PNIIS no cenário nacional avança lentamente, predominantemente em debates teóricos, revisões e atualizações. Há muitos desafios para sua implementação e prevalece a necessidade de legitimação.

The This qualitative study aimed to analyze the development and implementation of the Brazilian National Policy on Health Data and Information Technology (NPIIH). We analyzed documents and applied an online questionnaire to the experts involved in developing the policy. The data were submitted to content analysis using the categorical thematic modality. The PNIIS is the target of debate and proposals at various levels. Provisions have appeared in parallel to regulate measures on health data and information technology. Community participation in developing this policy and the convergence of laws, standards, resolutions, and policy-making levels in a common and broadly acknowledged and enforced policy are challenges, in addition to linking the public and private sectors. The study concludes that the National Policy on Health Data and Information Technology is making gradual progress, predominantly in theoretical debates, revisions, and updates. There are numerous challenges for its implementation and a prevailing need for legitimation.

Este estudio cualitativo tuvo como objetivo analizar el contexto actual de la definición e implementación de la Política Nacional de Información e Informática en Salud (PNIIS). Hemos llevado a cabo la investigación documental y la aplicación de un formulario en línea para los que participan en la definición de PNIIS en la escena nacional. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados mediante análisis de contenido, modalidad temática categórica. La PNIIS en construcción es objeto de debates y propuestas en varios casos. Las normas emergen en paralelo para regular las acciones de información y de la informática de la salud. La participación popular en la construcción de esta política y la convergencia de las leyes, reglamentos, resoluciones y órganos para la formulación de una política común, reconocida así como la interacción entre lo público y lo privado. Se concluye que las perspectivas para PNIIS en la escena nacional avanza lentamente, sobre todo en los debates teóricos, revisiones y actualizaciones. Hay muchos retos para su implementación, pero sigue siendo una necesidad legítima.

Community participation in developing this policy and the convergence of laws, standards, resolutions, and policy-making levels in a common and broadly acknowledged and enforced policy are challenges, in addition to linking the public and private sectors. The study concludes that the National Policy on Health Data and Information Technology is making gradual progress, predominantly in theoretical debates, revisions, and updates. There are numerous challenges for its implementation and a prevailing need for legitimation.

Este estudio cualitativo tuvo como objetivo analizar el contexto actual de la definición e implementación de la Política Nacional de Información e Informática en Salud (PNIIS). Hemos llevado a cabo la investigación documental y la aplicación de un formulario en línea para los que participan en la definición de PNIIS en la escena nacional. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados mediante análisis de contenido, modalidad temática categórica. La PNIIS en construcción es objeto de debates y propuestas en varios casos. Las normas emergen en paralelo para regular las acciones de información y de la informática de la salud. La participación popular en la construcción de esta política y la convergencia de las leyes, reglamentos, resoluciones y órganos para la formulación de una política común, reconocida así como la interacción entre lo público y lo privado. Se concluye que las perspectivas para PNIIS en la escena nacional avanza lentamente, sobre todo en los debates teóricos, revisiones y actualizaciones. Hay muchos retos para su implementación, pero sigue siendo una necesidad legítima.

Estudo de abordagem qualitativa que teve como objetivo identificar e analisar as contribuições do Grupo Técnico de Informação em Saúde e Populações (GTISP) para a construção da Política Nacional de Informação e Informática em Saúde (PNIIS). Desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa documental a partir dos relatórios das oficinas de trabalho do GTISP, no âmbito dos Congressos Brasileiros de Saúde Coletiva, no período de 1992 a 2013. Após a análise preliminar, procedeu-se à Análise de Conteúdo dos documentos. Verificou-se que o GTISP tem contribuído para aconstrução da PNIIS propondo: a valorização do entono sócio-cultural que envolve a política de informação; a necessidade de construir uma política de informação para a área de forma coletiva, plural, pactuada e gerida de forma colegiada; o resgate da informação como um direito de todos e a necessidade de romper com o modelo de gestão da informação hegemônico no Brasil; a definição de planos diretores com vistas à suplantar as dificuldades reconhecidas no campo da informação e informática em saúde. Conclui-se que apesar das contribuições do GTISP para a construção da política de informação em saúde, a mesma ainda não foi legitimada. É preciso avançar em sua definição e reconhecimento em todas as esferas de governo, bem como no locus assistencial.

This qualitative study aimed to identify and analyze the contributions of the Technical Group on Health Information and Populations for the construction of the National Information and Health Informatics. Developed a research document from the reports of the workshops of group under the Brazilian Congress on Collective Health , in the period 1992-2013. After preliminary analysis, we proceeded to the Content Analysis of the documents. It was found that the group has contributed to the construction of PNIIS proposing: the appreciation of the socio-cultural context involving information policy, the need to build an information policy for the area collectively, plural and collective management; redemption of information as a right for all and the need to break with the model of information management hegemonic in Brazil , the definition of master plans with a view to overcome the difficulties recognized in the field of information and health informatics . It is concluded that despite the contributions of group for building policy for health information , it has not been legitimized . You need to advance in their definition and recognition in all spheres of government as well as the locus of care.
