Resumo Introdução: A dor lombar (DL) é a principal queixa musculoesquelética relatada na população ativa e incapacita atividades do cotidiano, como a marcha. Objetivo: Avaliar o recrutamento e co-contração dos músculos do tronco durante diferentes velocidades de marcha em indivíduos com e sem DL crônica. Método: Participaram 34 mulheres jovens, sedentárias, 18 compuseram o grupo DL (GDL) e 16 o grupo sem DL (GC). Foi avaliada a atividade eletromiográfica dos músculos locais oblíquo interno (OI) e multífido lombar (MUL), e globais oblíquo externo (OE), reto abdominal (RA) e iliocostal lombar (ICL), durante a marcha. A análise eletromiográfica foi realizada a partir da média do valor de envelope linear, normalizada pelo pico de ativação muscular. A co-contração muscular (OI/MUL, OE/ICL, RA/ICL, OI/OE e os grupos musculares abdominais/ paravertebrais) foi calculada com a fórmula de Falconer e Winter. A análise estatística foi feita por meio do teste Shapiro-Wilk, Análise Multivariada, Análise de Variância mista com pos-hoc bonferroni e coeficiente de correlação de Pearson (p < 0,05). Resultados: No GC podemos perceber que, quanto maior a velocidade, maior a ativação do MUL. Os dados de co-contração demonstraram que os músculos OI/MUL ativam 20% a mais no GDL, durante a velocidade de preferência, no GC, os resultados mostram que quanto maior a velocidade de marcha, maior a ativação dos músculos OE/ICL (21,8%) e OI/MUL (17,8%). Conclusão: O recrutamento dos músculos não difere entre os grupos e condições, contudo foi observado no GC que quanto maior a ação do músculo MUL maior é a velocidade de marcha.

Abstract Introduction: The lumbar pain is the main musculoskeletal complaint reported by the active population, and it prevents daily activities such as walking. Objective: To assess muscle recruitment and the co-contraction of the trunk muscles during different walking speed in individuals with and without chronic lumbar pain. Method: Thirty-four sedentary young women attended the study, in which 18 belonged to the lumbar pain team (LPT) and 16 to the team without lumbar pain (WLP). We assessed the electromyography activity of the internal oblique (IO) local muscle and lumbar multifidus (MUL), and global external oblique (EO), abdominal rectus (AR) and lumbar iliocostalis (LIC), during walking. The electromyography analysis was performed from the average of the linear envelope value, normalized by the peak of muscle activation. The muscle co-contraction (IO/MUL, EO/LIC, AR/LIC, IO/EO, and the abdominal/paravertebral muscle groups) was calculated with the Falconer and Winter formula. The Shapiro-Wilk test, Multivariate Analysis, mixed Variance Analyses with Bonferroni post-hoc, and Pearson (p < 0.05) correlation coefficient were made by the statistical analysis. Results: In the WLP we could notice that the higher the speed, the higher the MUL activation. The co-contraction data demonstrated that IO/MUL muscles activate 20% more in the LPT, during the preferred speed; however, in the WLP, the results showed that the higher the walking speed, the higher the EO/LIC (21.8%) and IO/MUL (17.8%) muscles activation. Conclusion: The recruitment of local muscles doesn’t differ among the evaluated groups and conditions; however, in WLP, the higher the MUL muscle action, the higher the walking speed.

Objetivo: Evaluar el reclutamiento y la co-contracción músculos del tronco durante diferentes velocidades de marcha en individuos con y sin DL. Método: Participaron 34 mujeres jóvenes, sedentarias, 18 compusieron grupo DL (GDL) y 16 grupo sin DL (GC). Se evaluó la actividad electromiográfica de los músculos oblicuo interno (OI) y externos (OE), multífido lumbar (MUL), recto abdominal (RA) e iliocostal lumbar (ICL) durante la marcha. El análisis electromiográfico fue realizado a partir del promedio del valor de sobre lineal, normalizado por el pico de activación muscular. La cocontracción muscular (OI/MUL, OE/ICL, RA/ICL, OI/OE y grupos de músculos abdominales/paravertebrales) se calculó utilizando la fórmula Falconer y Winter. El análisis estadístico fue realizado por Shapiro-Wilk, Análisis Multivariado, Análisis de Variedad mixta con pos-hoc bonferroni y coeficiente de correlación de Pearson (p < 0,05). Resultados: En el GC podemos percibir que, cuanto mayor es la velocidad, mayor es la activación del MUL. Los datos de co-contracción demostraron que los músculos OI/MUL activan un 20% más en el GDL, durante la velocidad de preferencia, sin embargo, en el GC, los resultados muestran que cuanto mayor la velocidad de marcha, mayor la activación de los músculos OE / ICL (21,8%) y OI/MUL (17,8%). Conclusión: El reclutamiento de los músculos no difiere entre los grupos y condiciones, contenido observado en el GC que cuanto mayor es la acción del músculo MUL mayor es la velocidad de marcha.

RESUMO JUSTIFICATIVA E OBJETIVOS: Alterações no controle motor podem contribuir para déficits no recrutamento muscular. Sendo assim o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a força, resistência e o recrutamento dos músculos do tronco. MÉTODOS: Foram avaliadas 35 mulheres, divididas em dois grupos: dor lombar crônica (GDL, n=20) e controle (GC, n=15). Avaliou-se as condições clínicas, incapacidade, nível da dor, força, resistência e recrutamento dos músculos: oblíquo externo (OE) e interno (OI), reto abdominal (RA), iliocostal lombar (ICL) e multífido lombar (MUL). Utilizou-se MANOVA, MANCOVA e Kruskal-Wallis. RESULTADOS: No teste de força muscular não houve diferença significativa entre os grupos (p=0,172). O grupo controle demonstrou maior capacidade de resistência no teste de resistência muscular (p<0,001). No recrutamento muscular, o grupo dor lombar crônica apresentou ativação muscular maior, que ficou evidente nos músculos estabilizadores globais, OE e RA (p<0,05). CONCLUSÃO: Mulheres com dor lombar apresentaram resistência muscular diminuída e maior recrutamento nos músculos globais, quando comparadas às mulheres sem dor lombar.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Changes in motor control may contribute to muscle recruitment deficits. The objective of this study was to evaluate strength, endurance, and recruitment of the torso muscles. METHODS: We evaluated 35 women, divided into two groups: chronic low back pain (LBPG, n=20) and control (CG, n=15). The clinical conditions, incapacity, level of pain, strength, endurance and the muscles recruitment: internal oblique (IO) and external oblique (EO), rectus abdominis (RA), lumbar iliocostal (LI) and lumbar multifidus (LM) were evaluated. MANOVA, MANCOVA and Kruskal-Wallis were used. RESULTS: There was no significant difference between groups in the muscle strength test (p<0.172). The control group showed the greater capacity for muscle endurance in the muscle endurance test (p<0.001). In muscle recruitment, the chronic low back pain group presented greater muscle activation, which was evident in the global stabilizing muscles EO and RA (p<0.05). CONCLUSION: Women with back pain had reduced muscular endurance and greater recruitment of the global muscles when compared to women with no back pain.

Resumo Introdução Os acidentes de trânsito envolvendo pedestres são responsáveis por muitos casos de lesões graves e óbitos. Atravessar a rua com segurança requer complexo planejamento e demanda cognitiva, pois é necessário realizar mais de uma tarefa ao mesmo tempo. Objetivo O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar alterações eletromiográficas durante a marcha de indivíduos jovens realizada concomitantemente com tarefas cognitivas. Métodos Participaram do estudo 17 jovens do sexo feminino com idade entre 18 e 25 anos. A coleta de dados foi realizada em esteira ergométrica onde os voluntários realizaram o teste de marcha compostos por quatro condições distintas: marcha normal (MN), marcha com dupla tarefa fácil (DTF), marcha com dupla tarefa difícil (DTD) e marcha com dupla tarefa mista (DTM). Resultados Foram encontradas diferenças significativas entre a condição de MN para as demais condições para todos os músculos, sendo que durante a MN foram encontrados menores valores de ativação muscular. A co-contração muscular entre os músculos VM/BF mostrou diferença significativa entre as condições de MN e DTM (p = 0,04), sendo que durante a MN foram observados menores valores de co-contração. Conclusão Os dados do presente estudo, nos permitem concluir que a competição entre recursos motores e cognitivos afeta, significantemente, os níveis de ativação muscular e co-contração durante a marcha de mulheres adultas jovens. Assim, concluímos que a realização de duplas tarefas cognitivas durante a marcha pode ser considerada um fator de risco para o desempenho seguro da mesma, podendo ocasionar maior risco de acidentes aos pedestres.

Abstract Introduction Accidents involving pedestrians are responsible for many cases of serious injuries and deaths. Crossing streets safely requires complex planning and cognitive demand because it is necessary to perform more than one task at a time. Objective The aim of this study was to identify electromyographic changes during gait in young subjects who performed the cognitive tasks concurrently. Methods The study included 17 younger women aged between 18 and 25 years. Data collection was performed on a treadmill. The volunteers were instructed to walk in four different conditions: normal gait (NG), gait with dual easy task (DET), gait with dual hard task (DHT) and gait with dual mixed task (DMT). Results Significant differences were found between the MN condition to the other conditions for all muscles and, during the NG, smaller values of muscle activation were found. Muscle co-contraction between muscles VM / BF showed a significant difference between the conditions of NG and DMT (p = 0.04) and, during the NG, smaller values of co-contraction were observed. Conclusion The data of this study permits to conclude that the competition between motor and cognitive resources significantly affects the levels of muscle activation and co-contraction during gait in young adult women. Thus, we conclude that the performance of dual cognitive tasks while driving can be considered a risk factor for safe driving.

Resumo Objetivo: Avaliar a influência do método Pilates Solo na hipercifose torácica e no equilíbrio em idosas. Método: Estudo randomizado, longitudinal. Participaram do estudo 31 idosas entre 60 e 75 anos, que foram divididas em dois grupos: Grupo Controle (n=17) e Grupo Pilates (n=14). O Grupo Pilates realizou treinamento, enquanto o Grupo Controle participou de palestras. A avaliação foi composta por testes específicos de equilíbrio (teste Unipodal direita e esquerda) e de hipercifose torácica (biofotogrametria computadorizada). Ao término das oito semanas ambos os grupos foram reavaliados. Os dados obtidos foram analisados por meio do teste de normalidade Shapiro-Wilk, teste t Student pareado, teste t Student não pareado, teste Wilcoxon e teste Mann-Whitney. Considerou-se nível de significância de 5% (p<0,05). Resultados: O Grupo Pilates apresentou manutenção no equilíbrio (p>0,05) e diminuição da hipercifose torácica em média de 6 graus (p<0,001), enquanto o Grupo Controle não apresentou diferença significativa (p>0,05) em nenhuma das variáveis. Conclusão: Pode-se concluir que o método Pilates Solo contribuiu na diminuição da hipercifose torácica e manutenção do equilíbrio das idosas investigadas. REBEC: RBR-6jd8nq

Abstract Objective: To evaluate the influence of the Mat Pilates method on thoracic hyperkyphosis and postural balance among elderly women. Method: A randomized longitudinal study was performed involving 31 elderly women who were divided into two groups: the Control Group (n=17) and the Pilates Group (n=14). The Pilates Group underwent training while the Control Group attended lectures. Evaluation consisted of specific balance (one-leg right and left) and thoracic kyphosis (computed biophotogrammetry) tests. The subjects were reassessed at the end of eight weeks. Data was analyzed by the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, and the paired Student's t, the unpaired Student's t, the Wilcoxon, and the Mann-Whitney statistical tests, with a significance level of 5% (p<0.05). Results: The Pilates group maintained balance levels (p>0.05) and had a mean thoracic kyphosis reduction of 6 degrees (p<0.001). There was no significant difference (p>0.005) in any of the variables in the Control Group. Conclusion: The present study found that the Mat Pilates method contributed to a reduction in thoracic kyphosis and the maintenance of balance in the elderly women investigated. REBEC: RBR-6jd8nq

Resumo Introdução : Quedas são eventos frequentes durante a marcha e são consideradas as principais causas de morte e lesões em idosos. Objetivos : O presente estudo teve por objetivo comparar o desempenho de jovens (GJ) e idosas (GI) durante a marcha com dupla tarefa cotidiana (simulador de semáforos) por meio de parâmetros cinemáticos e eletromiográficos. Materiais e métodos : Participaram do estudo 17 jovens e 18 idosas ativas. As voluntárias andaram sobre esteira em 2 condições distintas: marcha normal (M1) e marcha dupla tarefa (M2). Os sinais eletromiográficos foram coletados dos músculos reto femoral (RF), vasto medial (VM), vasto lateral (VL), bíceps femoral (BF), tibial anterior (TA), gastrocnêmio lateral (GL) e sóleo (SO). Os dados cinemáticos analisados foram comprimento de passada, tempo de passada e velocidade de preferência. Para a análise dos dados foram usados os testes de Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney, o teste T-student e o T-student para amostras independentes. Foi adotado nível de significância de p < 0,05. Resultados : Os músculos RF, VM, VL, BF e SO apresentaram ativação muscular maior na condição M2 em relação à condição M1 no GI e GJ. O GJ apresentou ativação muscular menor do RF, VM, BF e SO na condição M2 que GI. Na condição M1 os valores de comprimento de passada encontrados foram maiores que na condição M2. O tempo de passada para o GJ na condição M2 foi maior do que para o GI. Conclusões : Os idosos apresentaram velocidade de preferência menor que jovens. Nossos resultados sugerem que a marcha associada à dupla tarefa cotidiana, altera o comportamento neuromuscular do idoso, aumentando assim o risco de quedas.

Abstract Introduction : Falls during gait are one of the leading causes of death and injuries in elderly adults. Objective : This study aimed to compare the performance of young (YG) and elderly (EG) adults during dual-task gait (using a traffic light simulator) according to kinematics and electromyographic parameters. Materials and methods : 17 young and 18 elderly physically fit female subjects participated in this study. The volunteers walked on a treadmill under two different conditions: normal gait (M1) and dual-task gait (M2). We recorded EMG signals from the rectus femoris (RF), vastus medialis (VM), vastus lateralis (VL), biceps femoris (BF), tibialis anterior (TA), gastrocnemius lateralis (GL) and soleus (SO). The following kinematic data were obtained: step length, step time and self-selected velocity. Data analysis was performed using Wilcoxon's, Mann-Whitney, T-student tests and T-student for independent samples. The level of significance was set at p < 0.05. Results : For both groups, there was greater muscle activation of the RF, VM, VL, BF and SO during M2 than during M1. The YG showed lower muscle activation of the RF, VM, BF and SO during M2 when compared to EG. The EG had smaller step length than the YG. The step length values detected during M1 were higher than the ones collected during M2. During M2, the YG showed higher step time compared to the EG. Elderly subjects walked at a lower self-selected velocity than young subjects. Conclusions : Our findings suggest that dual-task gait modify the neuromuscular behavior in elderly subjects, increasing the risk of falls.

Introdução Existem diversas técnicas de alongamento que auxiliam o aumento de flexibilidade, entretanto ainda prevalecem dúvidas sobre qual método aponte ganhos majoritariamente eficazes. Objetivos Avaliar e comparar os efeitos das técnicas de alongamento Facilitação Neuromuscular Proprioceptiva (FNP) e o Alongamento Estático na flexibilidade dos músculos isquiotibiais de jovens mulheres. Métodos Participaram do estudo 45 jovens, mulheres, com média de idade entre 20,45 (± 1,66), que foram divididas em três grupos: grupo alongamento estático (GAE, n = 15), grupo alongamento facilitação neuromuscular proprioceptiva (GFNP, n = 15) e grupo controle (GC, n = 15). Os grupos GAE e GNFP realizaram três sessões semanais de alongamento durante quatro semanas. As voluntárias foram avaliadas por meio do Teste Sentar e alcançar e pelo Teste do Ângulo poplíteo no início e ao fim das intervenções. Os dados com distribuição normal foram analisados pelo Teste t de student, para os dados com distribuição não normal, foi utilizado o Teste de Wilcoxon para comparar cada técnica e o Teste de Mann-whitney para comprar as duas técnicas. Foi adotado o nível de significância de 5% (p < 0,05). Resultados Houve aumento significativo da flexibilidade dos músculos isquiotibiais quando analisadas as avaliações e reavaliações em ambos os protocolos de alongamento. Conclusões Ambas as técnicas são eficazes para o ganho de flexibilidade dos músculos isquiotibiais, não apresentando diferenças significativas que evidenciasse qual delas é a melhor para o ganho de flexibilidade desse grupo muscular.

Introduction There are several stretching techniques that help increase flexibility, however, there are still questions regarding which method leads to the most effective gains. Objectives To assess and compare the effects of two stretching techniques, namely proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and static stretching on the flexibility of hamstring muscles of young women. Methods The study sample consisted of 45 young women, mean age 20.45 (± 1.66),assigned to one of three groups: static stretching group (SSG, n = 15), proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation group (PNFG, n = 15) and control group (CG, n = 15). Both SSG and PNFG carried out three weekly stretching sessions over a four-week period. The sit and reach and popliteal angle tests were used at the beginning and end of the intervention. Normally distributed data were analyzed using Student’s t-test, whereas data with non-normal distribution were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, to compare initial and end measurements for each technique. Finally, we used the Mann-Whitney U test to compare both techniques with each other. A significance level of 5% (p < 0.05) was adopted. Results There was a significant increase in hamstring flexibility when analyzing the assessments and reassessments of both stretching protocols. Conclusions Both techniques were effective in increasing hamstring flexibility and there were no significant differences to indicate which one is better in increasing the flexibility of this muscle group.

Introdução: As quedas em idosos são responsáveis por muitos casos de lesões e morte. As alterações de equilíbrio e força muscular decorrentes do envelhecimento, que contribuem para a ocorrência de quedas, podem ser parcialmente revertidas com o exercício físico.Objetivo: Verificar os efeitos de 8 semanas de treinamento de equilíbrio com haste vibratória, sobre o comprimento de passo e a ativação muscular do membro inferior de idosas durante marcha com duplas tarefas.Métodos: Participaram do estudo 16 idosas divididas aleatoriamente em dois grupos: grupo treinamento de equilíbrio (GTE) e grupo de treinamento de equilíbrio com haste vibratória (GTEHV). A avaliação da marcha foi composta por três condições distintas que incluiram marcha em velocidade de preferencia e duplas tarefas. Foram coletados os dados eletromiográficos dos músculos reto femoral, vasto lateral, bíceps femoral, tibial anterior e gastrocnêmio lateral, e dados cinemáticos de comprimento de passo.Resultados: O GTEHV apresentou maiores valores de comprimento de passo após o treinamento. Ambos os grupos (GTE e GTEHV) mostraram menores valores de ativação muscular após o treinamento.Conclusão: Os resultados sugerem que o treinamento de equilíbrio com haste vibratória pode ser eficaz para melhora do desempenho durante diferentes condições de marcha em idosos, contribuindo para a prevenção de quedas nesta população.

Introduction: Falls in elderly are responsible for many cases of injury and death. Changes in balance and muscle strength associated with aging that contribute to the occurrence of falls, can be partially reverted with exercise.Objective: Investigate the effect of eight weeks of oscillatory pole training on the step length and lower limb muscle activation during dual-task gait in elderly.Methods: The study included 16 female elderly randomly divided into two groups: balance training (GTE) and oscillatory pole training (GTEHV). The gait evaluation was composed of three conditions that included gait speed preference and dual-tasksgait. Electromyography findings of the rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris, and tibialis anterior, lateral head of gastrocnemius as well as kinematic data of step length were collected.Results: The GTEHV group showed higher values of step length after training. Both groups (GTE and GTEHV) showed lower muscle activation after training.Conclusion: The results suggest that balance training with oscillatory pole may be effective for improve performance during different gait conditions in elderly contributing to the prevention of falls in this population.

Introducción: Las caídas en personas mayores son responsables por muchos casos de lesiones y muerte. Las alteraciones de equilibrio y fuerza muscular provenientes del envejecimiento, que contribuyen para la ocurrencia de caídas, pueden ser parcialmente revertidas con el ejercicio físico.Objetivo: Verificar los efectos de ocho semanas de entrenamiento de equilibrio con vara vibratoria, sobre la longitud de paso y la activación muscular del miembro inferior de mujeres mayores durante marcha con dobles tareas.Métodos: Participaron en el estudio 16 mujeres mayores divididas aleatoriamente en dos grupos: grupo entrenamiento de equilibrio (GTE) y grupo de entrenamiento de equilibrio con vara vibratoria (GTEHV). La evaluación de la marcha fue compuesta por tres condiciones distintas que incluyeron marcha en velocidad de preferencia y dobles tareas. Fueron colectados los datos electromiográficos de los músculos recto femoral, vasto lateral, bíceps femoral, tibial anterior y gastrocnemio lateral, y datos cinemáticos de longitud de paso.Resultados: El GTEHV presentó mayores valores de longitud de paso después del entrenamiento. Ambos grupos (GTE y GTEHV) mostraron menores valores de activación muscular después del entrenamiento.Conclusión: Los resultados sugieren que el entrenamiento de equilibrio con vara vibratoria puede ser eficaz para mejoría del desempeño durante diferentes condiciones de marcha en personas mayores, contribuyendo para la prevención de caídas en esta población.

Objetivou-se, por meio deste estudo, comparar o efeito de três técnicas de alongamento muscular (balístico, estático e contrai-relaxa) no ganho imediato de flexibilidade dos músculos isquiotibiais. Foram avaliados 23 sujeitos, de ambos os gêneros [média (DP) idade 21,17 (1,4)]. Todos os voluntários realizaram o alongamento estático, o balístico e o contrai-relaxa. Cada técnica foi realizada em sessão única com intervalo de sete dias entre as sessões. Para avaliar os efeitos imediatos das diferentes técnicas, realizaram-se, antes e após a série de alongamentos, os testes de flexibilidade Sentar e Alcançar e o Teste do Ângulo Poplíteo. Em comparação à linha de base, houve aumento significativo de flexibilidade para o teste do Ângulo Poplíteo após aplicação do alongamento balístico (6,26%) e contrai-relaxa (6,5%), respectivamente (p<0,05). Ao contrair-relaxar as três técnicas em relação ao escore de mudança, encontrou-se diferença considerável no teste do Ângulo Poplíteo para os alongamentos balístico e contrair-relaxar, porém, o Teste Sentar e Alcançar não apresentou relevância. De acordo com esses dados, as técnicas balísticas e -contrair-relaxar foram melhores que a técnica de alongamento estático, e ambas as técnicas mostraram-se igualmente efetivas. As técnicas de alongamento balístico e contrair-relaxar melhoraram a flexibilidade dos músculos isquiotibiais.

This study aimed to compare the effect of three stretching techniques (ballistic, static and contract-relax) on instant gain muscle flexibility on the hamstring muscle. We evaluated 23 subjects of both gender [means (SD) age 21.17 (1.4) years]. All volunteers performed static, ballistic and contract-relax stretching. Each technique was performed in a single session with an interval of seven days between sessions. To assess the immediate effects of the different techniques were performed two tests of flexibility, Sit and Reach Test and the Popliteal Angle Test. In comparison with the baseline there were significant increase in muscle flexibility in the Popliteal Angle Test after application ballistic (6.26%) and contract-relax technique (6.5%) respectively (p<0.05). When comparing the three techniques regarding the change score significant difference was found in the the Popliteal Angle Test for ballistic and contract-relax stretching, but Sit and Reach Test showed no significance difference. These data suggest that the ballistic and contract-relax were better than the technique of static stretching and both are equally effective. The ballistic contract-relax stretching techniques improved gain of muscle flexibility on the hamstring muscle.

Se procuró, por medio de este estudio, comparar el efecto de tres técnicas de alongamiento muscular (balístico, estático y contrae-relaja) en el aumento inmediato de flexibilidad de los músculos isquiocrurales. Se evaluaron 23 sujetos, de ambos géneros [media (DE) edad 21,17 (1,4)]. Todos voluntarios realizaron el alongamiento estático, el balístico y el contrae-relaja. Cada técnica fue realizada en sesión única con intervalo de siete días entre las sesiones. Para evaluar los efectos inmediatos de las diferentes técnicas, se realizaron, antes y después de la serie de alongamientos, los tests de flexibilidad Sentar y Alcanzar y el Test del Ángulo Poplíteo. En comparación a la línea de base, hubo aumento significativo de flexibilidad para el test del Ángulo Poplíteo, después de aplicación del alongamiento balístico (6,26%) y contrae-relaja (6,5%), respectivamente (p<0,05). Al comparar las tres técnicas en relación al escore de cambio, se encontró diferencia considerable en el test del Ángulo Poplíteo para los alongamientos balístico y contrae-relaja, sin embargo el Test Sentar y Alcanzar no presentó relevancia. De acuerdo con esos datos, las técnicas balísticas y contrae-relaja fueron mejores que la técnica de alongamiento estático y, ambas técnicas, se mostraron igualmente efectivas. Las técnicas de alongamiento balístico y contrae-relaja mejoraron la flexibilidad de los músculos isquiocrurales.
