RESUMO: A partir da constatação de contradições cotidianas e de sua recepção na lógica clássica, onde não são admitidas, este trabalho teórico interroga, junto a outros campos, fenômenos linguageiros considerados indesejáveis e, consequentemente, descartáveis em descrições e análises. A discussão reconhece na Lógica paraconsistente avanços importantes para a abordagem das contradições em sistemas lógicos. Na Clínica de Linguagem, tropeços e embaraços são tratados como dados de subjetividade relevantes para elaborações teórico-clínicas; ali encontramos contribuições para discutir a contradição na Psicanálise. ABSTRACT: Based on the observation of everyday contradictions and their reception in classical logic, where they are not admitted, this theoretical work interrogates, together with other fields, linguistic phenomena considered undesirable and disposable in descriptions and analyses. The discussion recognizes in Paraconsistent Logic important advances for the approach of contradictions in logical systems. At the Language Clinic, stumbling blocks and embarrassments are treated as relevant subjectivity data for theoretical-clinical elaborations; there we find contributions to discuss the contradiction in Psychoanalysis. ABSTRACT This article presents a reflection based on a theoretical framework built within a clinical area named as Language Clinic (Lier-DeVitto, 2002, 2006), an approach which articulates notions and concepts from both the European Structuralism, Saussure, and Jakobson, and from Psychoanalysis, Freud, and Lacan. Since Fonseca’s studies publications (1995, 2002, 2011), aphasia can be understood as a complex phenomenon involving injured brain, disturbed speech, and a dramatic subjective situation. Taking into account the aphasic’s singular subjective condition, this article sustains the importance of deepening the discussion concerning the subjective drama, introducing mourning as a theoretical and clinical problem. We stress the fact that the aphasic sees her/himself imprisoned in a speech disorder which leads us to consider that he/she is under the effect of a strong shock in the entenglament of the real world, the symbolic and the imaginary registers (Lacan, 1985/1972-3). Freud (1917) opens the discussion about mourning in psychoanalysis. His text and those of other psychoanalysts are addressed in this article. We argue that autobiographical texts are efficient linguistic tools for the therapist to deal with the aphasic patients’ clinical elaboration of mourning.

RESUMO Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão subsidiada pela Clínica de Linguagem (Lier-DeVitto, 2002, 2006), proposta teórico-clínica que articula noções e conceitos do Estruturalismo Europeu, com Saussure e Jakobson, e da Psicanálise, com Freud e Lacan. Desde os trabalhos de Fonseca (1995, 2002, 2011) a afasia é entendida como uma alteração linguística que envolve cérebro ferido, fala em sofrimento e drama subjetivo. O objetivo deste artigo é desenvolver o tema de que o drama subjetivo envolve luto - questão incontornável num atendimento a afásicos que priorize o sujeito e sua condição singular. Destaca-se que a afasia deixa o falante frente às ruínas de uma condição linguística abrupta e inesperada, que remete a um forte abalo no enodamento dos registros do real, simbólico e imaginário (Lacan, 1985/1972-3). Freud (1917) abre a discussão sobre o luto na Psicanálise. Seu texto e de outros psicanalistas são abordados neste artigo. A escrita autobiográfica é apresentada como um dos caminhos possíveis no percurso de elaboração do luto numa Clínica de Linguagem.

Resumen Se sabe que el habla de los niños puede ser tan impredecibles hasta el punto de sacudir el “límite consolidado por el lenguaje” (Figueira 2015: 174). Hay situaciones en las que consigue un efecto de corte que acaba separando el habla de determinados niños del conjunto de hablas reconocidas como “normales”. Manifestaciones sintomáticas del habla pueden poner en jaque la dinámica de la comunicación y lo que se concibe como (in) flexibilidad pragmática. Este trabajo discute la cuestión de la presencia o ausencia de flexibilidad pragmática en niños con habla sintomática y, para ello, incluye observaciones de la situación dialógica entre niño y adulto en el contexto de la Clínica del Lenguaje. El análisis tiene el estructuralismo europeo como trasfondo teórico sobre el lenguaje y, sobre el hablante y la clínica, se acerca al psicoanálisis. Se concluye que identificar la (in) flexibilidad pragmática en niños con habla sintomática no ayuda al encuentro del clínico con la singularidad del habla infantil.

Abstract It is unquestionable that children's speech can be highly unpredictable to an extent that it may touch “a language consolidated limit” (Figueira 2015: 174). In such cases, a major cut-off effect ends up separating a child's speech from the language set conceived of as "normal speech”. In fact, symptomatic speech troubles the communicative dynamics in interaction situations and deeply affects what is assumed as pragmatic (in)flexibility. In order to reflect on that theme (pragmatic flexibility) when symptomatic speech is at stake, the present work discusses some child-adult dialogues in clinical situations. The analysis is based on European Structuralism and, on the speaker, Psychoanalysis. We conclude that identifying pragmatic flexibility in children with symptomatic speech does not help the recognition of singularity of the infantile speech manifestations.

Resumo Sabe-se que falas infantis podem ser tão imprevisíveis ao ponto de chegarem a abalar o “limite consolidado pela língua” (Figueira 2015: 174). Há situações em que atingem um efeito de corte que acaba por apartar a fala de certas crianças do conjunto de falas reconhecidas como “normais”. Manifestações sintomáticas de fala podem colocar em xeque a dinâmica da comunicação e aquilo que se concebe como (in)flexibilidade pragmática. O presente trabalho discute a questão da presença ou ausência de flexibilidade pragmática em crianças com falas sintomáticas e, para isso, inclui observações de situação dialógica entre criança e adulto no contexto da Clínica de Linguagem. A análise tem o Estruturalismo Europeu como fundo teórico sobre a linguagem e, sobre o falante e a clínica, aproxima-se da Psicanálise. Conclui-se que identificar (in)flexibilidade pragmática em crianças com falas sintomáticas não auxilia o encontro do clínico com a singularidade da fala infantil.

RESUMO Este artigo discute a problemática da heterogeneidade e seus efeitos no Interacionismo em Aquisição de Linguagem e na Clínica de Linguagem, campos em que ela adquire o estatuto de proposição problemática. Está em questão a não-coincidência de um falante com a própria fala, dessa fala com a da massa falante e, também, entre falas de crianças e falas sintomáticas. Articula-se, neste quadro, o par heterogeneidade-singularidade, que impõe o afastamento ao recurso das descrições categoriais. Distingue-se singularidade de diferenças individuais que frequentam as Psicologias e campo das Ciências Humanas em geral. O pano de fundo teórico que movimenta a argumentação decorre de uma articulação particular entre Estruturalismo Europeu e Psicanálise. Saussure e Jakobson representam uma saída das descrições em favor de uma explicação sobre o movimento que subjaz os enunciados erráticos ou sintomáticos. A Psicanálise introduz a ideia de cisão subjetiva, que suspende a de sujeito epistêmico.

ABSTRACT This article discusses the problem of heterogeneity and its effects on Interactionism in Language Acquisition and Language Clinic, in which it acquires the status of problematic proposition. The focus is on the non-coincidence between the speaker and his/her own speech, between a speaker and other speakers of a speech community and, also, between children’s speech and symptomatic speech. It is argued that according such perspective, the heterogeneity-singularity opposition is enlightened, which raises obstacles to approach the speakers’s utterances in grammatical terms. The singularity notion is distinguished from individual differences which is deeply incorporated in the field of Psychology and the all Human Sciences, as well. The theoretical background that sustain the argumentative direction developed in this study articulates in a particular way the European Structuralism and Psychoanalysis. Saussure and Jakobson represent a departure from descriptions in favor of explanations concerning the movement that underlies the erratic or symptomatic utterances. Psychoanalysis introduces the notion of split subjective, which suspends that of epistemic subject.

Abstract: This paper discusses the interpretation of symptomatic speech, characterized by a remarkable and perplexing grammatical organization from which its pragmatic inadequacy is derived. The clinical dialogue, locus of symptom displacements, is driven by the hard encounter among conflicting speech chains and the unequal positions between therapist and patient. Faced with insistently disordered speech chains, clinician finds himself pressed by questions on subjectivity. Foucault (1980) is punctual: in the domain of the clinic, "the fantastic articulation between knowledge and suffering" is unavoidable: listening is challenged by subject’s difficult relationship with his speech and his conditions of speaker. The theoretical background here assumed does not see dialogue as dyadic - la langue is a third element in this relation. In this work, of a theoretical nature, the discussion is developed under the light of European Structuralism assuming, with respect to the subject, the hypothesis of the unconscious (Freud 1900 (1970)).

Resumo: Este trabalho discute a problemática da interpretação de enunciados insólitos, de que decorre sua notável inadequação pragmática. O diálogo clínico, locus de deslocamentos do sintoma, é impulsionado pelo encontro tenso entre cadeias faladas conflitantes e pelas posições díspares entre terapeuta e paciente. Frente a falas insistentemente desarranjadas, um clínico vê-se pressionado pela questão do sujeito. Foucault (1980) é pontual: no domínio da clínica, “a articulação fantástica entre saber e sofrimento” é inevitável: a escuta é desafiada pela difícil relação do sujeito com sua fala e com sua condição de falante. O fundo teórico assumido afasta o diálogo como relação dual, intersubjetiva - la langue é terceiro nesta relação. Neste trabalho, de natureza teórica, a discussão é desenvolvida à luz do estruturalismo europeu e assume a hipótese do inconsciente (Freud 1900(1970)), no que diz respeito ao sujeito.

RESUMO Define-se apraxia de fala como a inabilidade de sequenciar os movimentos necessários a uma produção articulatória acurada, cuja explicação, tradicionalmente, é remetida a um déficit na programação motora da fala. Não é infrequente que clínicos de linguagem se defrontem com casos clínicos em que a inconsistência da fala coloca questões quanto ao diagnóstico diferencial entre apraxia e quadros considerados de linguagem. O reflexo desse impasse é observado na dificuldade em estabelecer uma direção de tratamento adequada ao problema apresentado. Neste trabalho, apresentamos o relato de um caso clínico em que tanto o diagnóstico quanto o tratamento mobilizam discussões a respeito da condição apráxica de fala na infância. Nas apraxias, partimos do reconhecimento de que o corpo colocado em evidência é aquele que ultrapassa sua configuração puramente orgânica. Consequências clínicas são retiradas da premissa de que o corpo humano é aquele cuja orelha pode escutar e a boca, falar, ou seja, é estrutura orgânica posta a funcionar de maneira especial pela incidência da música da linguagem a invocar o corpo falante.

ABSTRACT Apraxia of speech is defined as the inability to sequence the movements required for accurate articulatory production, traditionally involving a deficit in speech motor programming. Language clinicians often confront about speech inconsistency clinical cases, which raise questions concerning the differential diagnosis between apraxia and language disorders. Such problem often results in the difficulty to establish an adequate treatment decision. In this work, we discuss a clinical report in which both diagnosis and treatment raise questions about the apraxic speech condition in childhood. We start from the recognition that, in apraxia, it seems imperative to consider that the body to be considered is the one that surpasses its organic functions and structure. Clinical consequences are drawn from the premise that the human body is one whose ear can listen, and mouth can speak, i.e., the organic structure is a material realm open to the incidence of language and its “music”, which creates the speaking body.

RESUMO Este artigo nasce da constatação de que o pensamento do “pai da Linguística” não rendeu no campo dos estudos linguísticos. Saussure é mencionado como organizador de ideias sobre a linguagem, como quem formulou famosas dicotomias, mas a novidade saussuriana , representada por la langue - o objeto perene e universal da linguagem - não teve incidência na produção linguística depois de Benveniste e Jakobson. Este não foi o destino de Saussure em outras ciências humanas. Levi Strauss e Lacan são exemplos maiores do impacto de Saussure fora de seu campo próprio. Há, no Curso de Linguística Geral, duas definições de língua, de certo modo conflitantes. Desenvolve-se, aqui, o argumento de que uma delas está na base da leitura desvitalizante de Saussure e outra, aquela que introduz o pensamento do negativo, vem como solo da produtividade que pode ter em outros campos.

ABSTRACT This article takes into account the astonishing verification that the fundamental concept, introduced by “the father of Linguistics”, was fruitless within the field it appeared and was elaborated. Saussure is mentioned as the organizer of ideas about language, as the formulator of famous dichotomies, but the idea of la langue as the “object of Linguistics” and its possible consequences were not the focus of interest. Exceptions were, no doubt, Benveniste and Jakobson. On the whole, la langue, as “symbolic functioning”, neither reducible to any particular language nor with grammar, did not guide the approach to Saussure. It should be pointed out that Saussure’s destiny was quite different outside de field of Linguistics: Lévi- Strauss and Lacan are glaring examples of the impact of Saussure’s ideas in Anthropology and in Psychoanalysis. Two conflicting definitions of la langue can be found in the Cours de Linguistique Générale. This article puts forth and explores the argument that one of them is at the bases of the devitalizing reading, mentioned above, and the other, that one which sustains the negative reasoning which relates la langue to the notion of “value” , is responsible for the fructiferous effects of that concept in other realms.

Na Fonoaudiologia há trabalhos que exploram uma gama de questões relativas ao atendimento de pessoas com Paralisia Cerebral. Praticamente todos são orientados por vertentes organicistas ou sócio-cognitivas. A ausência de oralização, muito frequente em casos graves, talvez tenha um papel nesse caso: pesquisadores e profissionais concluem que se não há fala, a pessoa está fora da linguagem. Supõe-se a pessoa, contudo, capacidades perceptuais e cognitivas, mas não linguísticas. Sob esse raciocínio, a linguagem e seus efeitos sobre o sujeito são ignorados. É exceção neste quadro tradicional uma discussão que teorize de modo consistente sobre linguagem e sobre sujeito (Vasconcellos 1999 e 2010; Dudas 2009). Em outras palavras, são raríssimas as pesquisas que se distanciam do discurso organicista e do sujeito epistêmico. In the field of speech-language pathology there´re researches that explore a range of issues related to looking after people with Cerebral Palsy. They´re oriented by social-cognitive aspects. The absence of speech, very common in severe cases of the disease, may have a role in this case: researchers and practitioners conclude that if there´s no talk, the person is out of language. It´s assumed the person, however, perceptual and cognitive capacities, but not languages. Under such kind of reasoning, language and its effects on the subject are ignored. This traditional framework exception is a discussion that another theory is consistently about language and about subject (Vasconcellos 1999 and 2010; Dudas 2009). Summarizing, are very rare the researches that distance themselves from the speech and organization epistemic subject. This article takes the direction of the exception mentioned to reflect on the institutionalization of people with Cerebral Paralyses and subjective and clinical effects.

Este trabalho é efeito de questionamentos teóricos e práticos sobre a posição do clínico de linguagem e do pesquisador frente à fala sintomática. Uma posição que implica uma escuta teoricamente orientada para poder dar “tratamento” a essa fala que chega à clínica, isto é, dependendo de como se concebe linguagem, sujeito e clínica, o acolhimento destas falas será de um determinado modo. Seguimos com a recomendação de Arantes (2001) sobre “ler depois do clinicar”: transcrever as falas de paciente e terapeuta para poder apreender os efeitos que cada uma implica na outra e, também, poder assumir uma posição em relação ao manejo clínico com esta fala patológica. Para movimentar a discussão, apresentamos caso G. que, a partir da consideração teórica sobre o procedimento indicado por Arantes (2001), pudemos levantar questões e ele pôde ganhar outras considerações e manejos dentro da cena clínica após a realização do trabalho fora da cena

This work is the result of theoretical and practical questions about the position of the language specialist and the clinical researcher on symptomatic speech. Involves a listening theoretically oriented in order to enable a treatment of the patients speech when arriving at the clinic, that is, depending on how the language is conceived, the subject and the clinic, the reception of those speeches will happen in a certain way. We follow Arantes (2001) recommendation on "read after practice": transcribe patient and therapist speeches to appreciate the effects that each one implies the other and also be able to take a position to the clinical management with this pathological speech. We present the G. case and from the consideration of the procedure indicated by Arantes (2001), we were able to raise questions and it could receive other considerations and managements in clinical scene after this work out of the scene
