Resumo Esta investigação trata das compreensões e abordagens distintas, atribuídas ao conceito de Sequência Didática (SD), identificadas em pesquisas na área de Educação Matemática. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo entender e tipificar as diferentes compreensões e abordagens sobre o conceito de Sequência Didática, utilizadas na área de Educação Matemática. Trata de um ensaio teórico com abordagem qualitativa. Categorizamos seis abordagens diferentes sobre o conceito de SD na área de Educação Matemática, e apresentamos uma discussão sobre cada uma delas com base nos seguintes aspectos: (a) contextualização, (b) definição, (c) caracterização, (d) explicitação das fases/etapas/momentos, (e) síntese geral e (f) justificativa da compreensão sobre cada abordagem do conceito de SD. Em movimento de síntese, como resultados, interpretamos seis particularidades sobre as compreensões e abordagens atribuídas ao conceito de SD: (i) abordagens distintas sobre SD; (ii) características distintas sobre SD; (iii) semelhanças nas abordagens sobre SD; (iv) focos nas abordagens sobre SD; (v) três perspectivas nas abordagens sobre SD; (vi) duas dimensões nas abordagens de SD. As seis abordagens foram tipificadas como: compreensão didática de SD, compreensão pedagógica de SD, compreensão linguística de SD, compreensão matemática de SD, compreensão didática e pedagógica de SD e compreensão psicológica de SD. Concluímos que existem diferentes abordagens e compreensões de SD no âmbito da área de Educação Matemática, dessa forma, apontamos para a necessidade de aprofundamento e exploração sobre as especificidades dessas compreensões, particularmente, no que tange à dimensão formativa da SD.

Abstract This investigation deals with the different understandings and approaches, attributed to the Didactic Sequence (DS) concept, identified in research in the Mathematical Education area. The current research has as objective to understand and to typify the different understandings and approaches on the Didactic Sequence concept, used in the Mathematical Education area. It deals with a theoretical assay with a qualitative approach. We categorize six different approaches to the DS concept in the Mathematical Education area, and we present a discussion about each one on the following aspects: (a) contextualization, (b) definition, (c) characterization, (d) explanation of the phases/stages/moments, (e) general synthesis, and (f) justification of the understanding on each approach of the DS concept. In a synthesis movement, as results, we interpret six particularities about the understandings and approaches attributed to the DS concept: (i) different approaches on DS; (ii) different characteristics about DS; (iii) similarities in approaches to DS; (iv) focuses on approaches to DS; (v) three perspectives on DS approaches; (vi) two dimensions in the DS approaches. The six approaches have been typified as: didactic understanding of DS, pedagogical understanding of DS, linguistic understanding of DS, mathematical understanding of DS, didactic and pedagogical understanding of DS, and psychological understanding of DS. We conclude that there are different approaches and understandings of DS in the Mathematical Education area, this way, we point to the need for deepening and exploration about the specificities of these understandings, particularly with regards to the formative dimension of DS.

Resumo: Oriundo de uma tese que investigou experiências de formadores de professores de matemática em processos autoformativos, este artigo buscou mostrar possíveis compreensões das experiências de um formador de professores, na relação com processos autoformativos e reflexões transformadoras da prática. Adotou-se a pesquisa narrativa para a compreensão das experiências a partir de registros em vídeo, diário de campo e áudios de diálogos. Recorreu-se, ainda, à técnica da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), construindo-se as categorias de experiências como licenciando em Análise, experiências como formador e visão da formação continuada. Evidenciou-se que o formador passou a refletir sobre as experiências, ao revelar lacunas da formação e da prática desenvolvida, e passou a realizar novas estratégias avaliativas, com base em reflexões e interações vivenciadas. Concluiu-se que a participação do formador na pesquisa provocou mobilização de experiências e permitiu-lhe vivenciar movimentos de reflexão e de transformação da prática, caminho para se pensar novos modelos formativos.

Abstract: This text originated from a doctoral dissertation on the experiences of Mathematics Teacher Educators in self-formative processes. The work aimed to disclose possible perceptions of a Teacher Educator regarding his relations with self-education processes and transformative thoughts during his practices. His classes were recorded on video and audio and then analyzed by means of Textual Discourse Analysis (ATD) to create what we called Experiential Groups: Experiences as a Learner of Analysis; Experiences as a Teacher Educator; and Opinion about Continuing Education. It was found that the Teacher Educator started to think about his experiences after gaps were identified in his own training and practices. Therefore, he proposed and carried out new assessment strategies based on thoughts and interaction. It was concluded that the Teacher Educator's participation in this research has engendered a mobilization of experiences and has allowed him to come across movements of thought, besides a change in practices - a path onto thinking about new formative practices.

Resumo A Ansiedade Matemática é um fenômeno global e altamente prevalente, possuindo marcadores fisiológicos, cognitivos e comportamentais. No entanto, pouco se conhece sobre seus mecanismos neurais subjacentes. Fornecemos uma Revisâo Sistemática de estudos que investigaram os correlatos neurais da Ansiedade Matemática (AM) na última década e discutimos suas implicações para o processo de ensino aprendizagem. Foram selecionadas pesquisas que avaliaram parâmetros fisiológicos da funçâo cerebral de indivíduos com AM através de bancos de dados eletrônicos, atentando-se a critérios de inclusâo e exclusâo delineados. A qualidade da literatura foi analisada a partir dos 11 itens da escala de qualidade PEDro e conduzida pelo fluxograma de seleçâo de estudos PRISMA, resultando na inclusâo de 14 estudos neurocientíficos. Em geral, a literatura vem sugerir que as redes neurais de medo e de dor sâo estimuladas antes e durante tarefas numéricas em indivíduos com alta AM. Além disso, há uma capacidade reduzida de Memória de Trabalho e déficit de atençâo/inibiçâo em indivíduos com alta AM. Eles também sâo mais propensos a cometer erros em tarefas matemáticas, tem representações menos precisas de magnitude numérica, abordam os problemas matemáticos de maneira diferente de seus pares menos ansiosos e tendem a elevar mais recursos de controle cognitivo para concluir objetivos com estímulos aversivos relacionados ao raciocínio matemático, podendo impactar a eficiência de processamento e gerar déficits de desempenho. Resultados suportam, ainda, que os efeitos da AM estâo associados à uma menor ativaçâo cortical já durante os estágios iniciais do processamento de estímulos numéricos, independente da complexidade da tarefa. Implicações para guiar a prática do professor que ensina Matemática sâo discutidas à luz das evidências.

Abstract Mathematical Anxiety is a global phenomenon and highly prevalent, possessing physiological, cognitive, and behavioral markers. However, little is known about its underlying neural mechanisms. We provide a Systematic Review of studies that have investigated the neural correlates of Mathematical Anxiety in the last decade and discuss its implications for the teaching-learning process. We selected studies that made brain measurements of individuals with Mathematical Anxiety through electronic databases, considering the delineated inclusion and exclusion criteria. The quality of the literature was analyzed from the 11 items of the PEDro quality scale and conducted by the selection flowchart of PRISMA studies, resulting in the inclusion of 13 neuroscientific studies. In general, literature suggests that neural bases of fear and pain are stimulated by Mathematical Anxiety before and during numerical tasks. There is a reduced capacity for Working Memory and Attention Deficit / Inhibition in individuals with high Mathematical Anxiety. They are also more likely to make mistakes in mathematical tasks, have less precise representations of numerical magnitude, approach math problems differently from their less anxious peers, and tend to raise more cognitive control resources to complete goals with aversive stimuli, processing efficiency and generating performance deficits. Results also support that the effects of Mathematical Anxiety are associated with less cortical activation during the initial stages of numerical stimuli processing, regardless of task complexity.

RESUMO Trata-se do resultado de um estudo documental descritivo-analítico sobre questões investigativas e resultados apresentados pelas teses desenvolvidas nas áreas de Educação e de Ensino da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) que tem como foco de estudo o processo de Formação Inicial de Professores que ensinam matemática nos anos iniciais de escolarização. Tem como campo de investigação o banco da produção acadêmica brasileira produzido pela pesquisa “Mapeamento e Estado da Arte da Pesquisa Brasileira sobre o Professor que Ensina Matemática” do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) constituído por 858 trabalhos no período de 2001 a 2012. Do corpus de 63 teses identificadas, foram selecionadas 12 por meio dos descritores “Pedagogia” e “anos iniciais” no título. As teses foram organizadas e analisadas segundo as dimensões temáticas “conteúdo matemático”, “aspecto didático-metodológico”, “construção de saberes e produção de sentidos” e “estágio curricular”. A análise descritiva mostra teses relacionadas ao professor que ensina matemática cujos temas são importantes, mas estão voltados à verificação de ênfases não vinculadas necessariamente ao processo de formação dos professores no curso de Pedagogia. Também, são poucas as que têm como questão de investigação o processo em si da formação inicial de professores que ensinam matemática nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental.

ABSTRACT This is the result of a descriptive-analytical documentary study about investigative questions and results presented by theses developed in the areas of Education and Teaching of Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) which focus on the process of Initial Training of Teachers who teach mathematics in the early years of schooling. It has as research source the Brazilian academic production gathered by the research Mapeamento e Estado da Arte da Pesquisa Brasileira sobre o Professor que Ensina Matemática (Mapping and State-of-the-art Review of the Brazilian Research on the Teacher of Mathematics) of Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq)consisting of 858 works from 2001 to 2012. From the corpus of 63 theses identified, 12 were selected using the descriptors “Pedagogy” and “early years” in the title. The theses were organized and analyzed according to the thematic dimensions “mathematical content”, “didactic-methodological aspect”, “construction of knowledge and production of meanings” and “curricular internship”. The descriptive analysis shows theses related to the teacher who teaches mathematics whose subjects are important, but are focused on the verification of emphases not necessarily linked to the process of teacher training in the Pedagogy Graduate Course. Also, there are few ones that have as investigation question the process itself of the initial training of teachers who teach mathematics in the early years of Elementary School.

Resumo: O estudo objetiva estabelecer uma compreensão holística sobre identidade formativa de professores que ensinarão matemática em contextos de educação rural, discutindo aspectos da constituição dessa identidade no âmbito das Licenciaturas em Educação do Campo, reconhecidas por formar educadores para os espaços rurais brasileiros. Como método, pautamo-nos nos procedimentos da Análise Textual Discursiva de Roque Moraes e Maria do Carmo Galiazzi, tendo como corpus de análise documentos e outros materiais produzidos sobre o tema que direcionam a graduação desses professores. Os resultados categorizam a constituição dessa identidade a partir de quatro fatores específicos: fator formativo (ou institucional), contextual, matemático e sociopolítico, sendo este último aquele com maior proeminência e impacto identitário. Trata-se, portanto, de uma identidade não apenas pedagógica e restrita ao ambiente escolar, mas fortemente integrada às questões políticas e sociais relativas ao campo, onde se buscam as interligações com o saber matemático acadêmico.

Abstract: This study aims to establish a holistic understanding about the formative identity of teachers who will teach mathematics in rural education contexts by addressing aspects of the constitution of this identity within the scope of the Degree in Education in the Countryside, recognized for preparing educators for Brazilian rural areas. As for the method, we have used the procedures of Discursive Textual Analysis, and the corpus of analysis consisted of documents and other materials produced on the subject that steer the education of these teachers. The results categorize the constitution of this identity based on four specific factors: formative (or institutional), contextual, mathematical and sociopolitical factors, the last one being the one with the greatest prominence and impact on identity. It is, therefore, an identity which is not only pedagogical and restricted to the school environment, but strongly integrated to the political and social issues related to the field, where the interconnections with academic mathematical knowledge are sought.
