ABSTRACT The origin of this article is a thesis that proposed to categorize actions to enable a more effective teaching of Mathematics for students with cerebral palsy (CP). The purpose of this text is to present the categorization of actions that contribute to a teaching proposal aimed at all. The actions are based on welcoming attitudes on the part of teachers and students, adaptation of materials or the use of resources that value the inclusion of people with PC. The research participants were 13 Mathematics teachers and 11 students with PC, distributed in five Basic Education schools. Their speeches, transcribed after conducting a semi-structured interview, were analyzed using the Discursive Textual Analysis, whose excerpts are articulated with a theoretical framework based on Neurosciences, Mathematics Education and Inclusive Education. In conclusion, the need for the school to offer an adequate environment for learning is exposed, structured through stimulation and the welcoming of differences. For this, body language and gestures are used as a communication strategy, as well as the application, in the classroom or specialized room, of manipulative materials or those from computerized technology that overcome the barriers imposed by the disability.

RESUMO A origem deste artigo é uma tese que propôs categorizar ações para possibilitar um ensino da Matemática mais eficaz para estudantes com paralisia cerebral (PC). O objetivo deste texto é apresentar a categorização de ações que contribuam com uma proposta de ensino voltada a todos. As ações fundamentam-se em atitudes acolhedoras por parte de professores e estudantes, adaptação de materiais ou uso de recursos que prezem pela inclusão de pessoas com PC. Os participantes da pesquisa foram 13 professores de Matemática e 11 estudantes com PC, distribuídos em cinco escolas de Educação Básica. Suas falas, transcritas após a realização de uma entrevista semiestruturada, foram analisadas por meio da Análise Textual Discursiva, cujos excertos são articulados com um referencial teórico baseado nas Neurociências, na Educação Matemática e na Educação Inclusiva. Na conclusão, é exposta a necessidade de a escola oferecer um ambiente adequado para a aprendizagem, estruturado por meio do estímulo e da acolhida às diferenças. Para isso, utiliza-se da linguagem corporal e gestual como estratégia de comunicação, bem como da aplicação, em sala de aula ou em sala especializada, de materiais manipulativos ou provenientes de tecnologia informatizada que supram as barreiras impostas pela deficiência.

ABSTRACT This article presents an interview with Professor Mônica de Carvalho Magalhães Kassar, from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, about the historical movements and displacements produced in the Special Education policies in Brazil, especially regarding the issues surrounding Decree no. 10.502/2020. Throughout the interview, the researcher highlights some important historical milestones in the field of Special Education, refers to the setbacks and dangers that are foreseen with Decree no. 10.502/2020 and also discusses the problem of public funding for education.

RESUMO O presente texto traz uma entrevista realizada com a Professora Mônica de Carvalho Magalhães Kassar, da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, acerca das movimentações e dos deslocamentos históricos produzidos nas políticas de Educação Especial no Brasil, especialmente no que se refere às problematizações acerca do Decreto nº 10.502/2020. Ao longo da entrevista, a pesquisadora destaca alguns marcos históricos importantes no campo da Educação Especial, refere os retrocessos e os perigos que se vislumbram com o Decreto n° 10.502/2020 e ainda discute o problema do financiamento público à educação.

ABSTRACT The inclusive paradigm has meant great advances in the education of students with special educational needs, but it has maintained its labeling, interpreting them as those who should be included compared to the rest that it includes. In this context, this article is committed to a change towards a personalized paradigm in which no student is labeled, but rather each student is considered special and different from the rest and can receive an education adapted to their Personal Educational Needs (PEN). This concept of PEN allows attention and educational response to be focused on what each boy and girl needs to develop their individual potential to the maximum, avoiding falling into reductionisms of diversity that perpetuate ableism and segregating practices on the most vulnerable groups. Thus, this paper presents the approach to this concept and the paradigm that frames it, offering its definition and describing the principles on which it is based. Likewise, some of the national and supranational sources that it takes as reference and that justify and scientifically support its proposal are addressed, to finally conclude by explaining the reasons why this conceptual and paradigmatic change is urgent and a priority to create true schools for all.

RESUMEN El paradigma inclusivo ha supuesto grandes avances en la educación de los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales, pero ha mantenido su etiquetaje, interpretándolos como quienes deben ser incluidos frente al resto que incluye. En este contexto, el presente artículo apuesta por un cambio hacia un paradigma personalizado en el que no se etiquete a ningún estudiante, sino que cada alumno se considere especial y diferente al resto y pueda recibir una educación adaptada a sus Necesidades Educativas Personales (NEP). Este concepto de NEP permite focalizar la atención y respuesta educativa en lo que cada niño y niña necesita para desarrollar al máximo su potencial individual, evitando caer en reduccionismos de la diversidad que perpetúen las prácticas capacitistas y segregadoras sobre los colectivos más vulnerables. Así, en este trabajo se presenta el enfoque de dicho concepto y el paradigma que lo enmarca, ofreciendo su definición y describiendo los principios en los que se basa. Así mismo, se abordan algunas de las fuentes tanto nacionales como supranacionales que toma como referencia y que justifican y avalan científicamente su propuesta, para finalmente concluir exponiendo las razones por las que este cambio conceptual y paradigmático resulta urgente y prioritario para crear verdaderas escuelas para todos.

ABSTRACT The study aimed to analyze the productive narrative discourse of students who attended kindergarten in special language schools in Chile, considering the expressive and mixed Specific Language Impairment (SLI) with the periodicity of reading stories at home. Enriched natural environments into the family provide better opportunities to develop early literacy, linguistic and social skills. Children with SLI may show difficulties in narration, affecting academic, social performance, and generally affecting their quality of life. The narrative discourse in a sample of 150 preschoolers was evaluated using a formal instrument that included the retelling of three original stories. The performance of narrative development and reading stories by parents at home were examined. A form was applied to collect demographic information from families. Through a comparative-descriptive study, descriptive and inferential statistics (two-way ANOVA) were used to analyze the variables. The results show that type of SLI, frequency of reading and the interaction of both variables did not cause statistically significant effects in the narrative discourse. However, qualitative findings were observed, in the quantity of oral discourse related to storytelling.

RESUMEN El objetivo del estudio es analizar el discurso narrativo productivo de estudiantes de kínder en escuelas de lenguaje de Chile, considerando Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje (TEL) expresivo y mixto junto a la periodicidad de la lectura de cuentos en el hogar. Ambientes naturales enriquecidos en la familia aportan mayores oportunidades de desarrollo favoreciendo la literacidad, las habilidades lingüísticas y sociales. Los niños y niñas con TEL pueden mostrar dificultades en la narración, afectando el desempeño académico, social y en su calidad de vida. El discurso narrativo en una muestra de 150 preescolares es evaluado, utilizando un instrumento formal a través del recontado de 3 cuentos originales. Se examina la etapa del desarrollo narrativo y la lectura de cuentos realizada por padres en el hogar. Se aplica una ficha para recoger información demográfica de las familias. A través de un estudio descriptivo comparativo, se aplica estadística descriptiva e inferencial (ANOVA de dos factores) para analizar las variables. Los resultados muestran que ni el tipo de TEL, ni la frecuencia de lectura o la interacción de ambas, provocan cambios estadísticamente significativos en el discurso narrativo. Sin embargo, se observan hallazgos cualitativos en la cantidad de narración, en función de la lectura de cuentos.

ABSTRACT This article aims to answer the question: Is intellectual giftedness in human beings, when compared to the normal intelligence of individuals, associated with the experience of depression or depressive disorder? Considering the results of five databases (PsycInfo, Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO and PubMed) and inclusion and exclusion criteria, depression in gifted individuals is related to: self-esteem (n = 4); internalizing behaviors (n = 2); stress (n = 4); protective and/or risk factors (n = 5); suicidal ideation (n = 2); perfectionism (n = 3); emotional adjustment (n = 6). The diversity of criteria for giftedness or psychometric tests used restricts the possibility of conclusion; however, points of convergence are observed. In the one hand, three studies found that the gifted were less depressed than average-achieving students, one article found the opposite. One study confirms the proposition that girls are more depressed than boys in the same condition. On the other hand, the results of two articles demonstrate that, among the gifted, boys are more depressed than girls. It is postulated that a future meta-analysis will be carried out in order to measure the significance and effect size of each result.

RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo responder à pergunta: A superdotação intelectual em seres humanos, quando comparada à inteligência normal de indivíduos, está associada à experiência de depressão ou de transtorno depressivo? Considerando resultados de cinco bases (PsycInfo, Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO e PubMed) e critérios de inclusão e de exclusão, relaciona-se a depressão em superdotados: à autoestima (n = 4); a comportamentos internalizantes (n = 2); ao estresse (n = 4); a fatores de proteção e/ou risco (n = 5); à ideação suicida (n = 2); ao perfeccionismo (n = 3); ao ajustamento emocional (n = 6). A diversidade de critérios para superdotação ou de testes psicométricos utilizados restringe a possibilidade de conclusão; contudo, observam-se pontos de convergência. Por um lado, três estudos revelaram que os superdotados eram menos deprimidos do que os alunos de desempenho normal, e um artigo revelou o contrário. Um estudo ratificou a proposição de que meninas são mais deprimidas do que meninos na mesma condição. Por outro lado, os resultados de dois artigos demonstraram que, entre os superdotados, meninos são mais deprimidos do que meninas. Postula-se a realização de futura metanálise a fim de mensurar a significância e o tamanho do efeito de cada resultado.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to evaluate a computer training program for teachers who assist students with visual impairment. The research had as specific objectives: to contribute to the appropriation of theoretical and practical knowledge by teachers about visual impairment; to provide teachers with training in operating the computer using the core functions of major products, such as operating systems, text editors, spreadsheets, presentation applications, the Internet; to provide teachers with training in the use of softwares to construct accessible materials, screen magnifiers and screen readers to assist students with visual impairment. Twelve teachers participated in this study, namely: one teacher from the Instituto Federal Baiano (IF Baiano) - campus Guanambi; ten teachers from the Municipal Education Network of Guanambi; and one teacher from the Municipal Education Network of Caetité, state of Bahia, Brazil. The data collection place was the IF Baiano - campus Guanambi. The instruments used for data collection were: an initial questionnaire on the characterization and the level of computer literacy; pre and post tests of the modules. The results showed that the research contributed to the teachers’ learning process in order to operate the computer. It also enabled the teachers to use softwares in the construction of accessible materials, as well as the use of magnifying softwares and screen readers.

RESUMO Este estudo teve por objetivo avaliar um programa de formação em informática para professores que atendem a alunos com deficiência visual. A pesquisa teve como objetivos específicos: contribuir para a apropriação de conhecimento teórico e prático, por parte de professores sobre deficiência visual; propiciar aos professores formação para operar o computador usando as funções básicas dos principais produtos, tais como sistemas operacionais, editores de textos, planilhas eletrônicas, aplicativos de apresentação, Internet; possibilitar aos professores formação para a utilização de softwares para a construção de materiais acessíveis, ampliadores de telas e leitores de telas, no atendimento de alunos com deficiência visual. Participaram do estudo 12 professoras, a saber: uma professora do Instituto Federal Baiano (IF Baiano) - campus Guanambi; e dez professoras da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Guanambi; e uma professora da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Caetité, Bahia. O local de coleta de dados foi o IF Baiano - campus Guanambi. Os instrumentos utilizados para a coleta de dados foram: um questionário inicial de caracterização e de nível de conhecimento em informática; pré e pós-testes dos módulos. Os resultados mostraram que a pesquisa contribuiu com o processo de aprendizagem das professoras no sentido de operar o computador. Também habilitou as professoras para a utilização de softwares na construção de materiais acessíveis, bem como o emprego dos softwares ampliadores e leitores de tela.

ABSTRACT The participation of family members of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), especially mothers, in the search and use of information on the subject to improve life quality is recognized. However, little is known about the participation ways, the knowledge, the tools for information circulation, the representations involved or the determinations arising from these processes. In order to understand the participation of family members of people with ASD in communicational actions on the theme as well as the related cultural elements, the Culture Circuit was used as a theoretical and methodological tool. An online questionnaire aimed at family members of people with ASD was applied, disseminated via associations. From a qualitative and quantitative analysis, it was realized that the science communication about ASD can be an important tool for communication between subjects and collectives involved with the theme. The search and production of information and formation of supportive networks between family members and specialists promote changes in perceptions, attitudes and values in the family group and often out of familiar contexts.

RESUMO A participação de familiares de pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), em especial as mães, na busca e na utilização de informações sobre o tema para melhoria da qualidade de vida é reconhecida. Entretanto, pouco se sabe sobre os modos de participação, os conhecimentos, as ferramentas de circulação de informação, as representações envolvidas ou as determinações decorrentes desses processos. Com o objetivo de compreender os modos de participação de familiares de pessoas com TEA em ações comunicacionais sobre o tema bem como os elementos culturais relacionados, utilizou-se, como ferramenta teórico-metodológica, o Circuito da Cultura. Aplicou-se um questionário online destinado a familiares de pessoas com TEA, divulgado via associações. A partir de uma análise quali-quantitativa, percebeu-se que a divulgação científica sobre o TEA pode constituir-se como uma importante ferramenta para a comunicação entre sujeitos e coletivos envolvidos com o tema. A busca e a produção de informações e a formação de redes de apoio entre familiares e especialistas promovem transformações em percepções, atitudes e valores no grupo familiar e, muitas vezes, em contextos extrafamiliares.

ABSTRACT This interview aims to share Andrea Canevaro’s reflections, a scholar considered the main academic who has dedicated himself to Special Education and school inclusion in Italy, in the last 40 years, with work that unfolds in many other countries, which includes training activities for professionals, project coordination and consulting services for public institutions in the educational field. Through a dialog, it was sought to shed light on the historical dimensions and current challenges related to school inclusion policies, changes in the organization of services and the promotion of new perspectives in the understanding of phenomena such as disability. This analysis aims to highlight dynamics that have favored changes in the organization of services and the creation of new alternatives in the pedagogical field.

RESUMO Esta entrevista tem como objetivo compartilhar as reflexões de Andrea Canevaro, um estudioso considerado o principal acadêmico que se dedicou à Educação Especial e à inclusão escolar na Itália, nos últimos 40 anos, com trabalho que se desdobra em muitos outros países, o qual contempla atividades de formação de profissionais, coordenação de projetos e assessoria a órgãos públicos no campo educacional. Por meio de um diálogo, procurou-se dar destaque às dimensões históricas e aos desafios atuais concernentes às políticas de inclusão escolar, às mudanças na organização dos serviços e ao avanço de novas perspectivas na compreensão de fenômenos como a deficiência. A análise procura colocar em evidência dinâmicas que favoreceram as transformações na organização dos serviços e a criação de novas alternativas no campo pedagógico.

ABSTRACT Throughout this interview, Professor Maura Corcini Lopes, from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, develops a range of analyzes related to the education of the deaf people, starting from a resumption of the articles published in the Revista Brasileira de Educação Especial on the education of the deaf, throughout the three decades of the existence of this journal. She invites the reader to reflect on the types of knowledge produced about deafness and the ways in which the subjects with deafness were being narrated during this period. When looking back at the last 30 years of proposing education policies in Brazil, Professor Maura problematizes the effects of these policies in the organization of school practices aimed at deaf students and the way in which the society relates to difference, after inclusion policies.

RESUMO Ao longo da presente entrevista, a Professora Maura Corcini Lopes, da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, desenvolve um conjunto de análises relativas à educação de surdos, a partir de uma retomada dos artigos publicados na Revista Brasileira de Educação Especial sobre a educação de surdos, ao longo das três décadas de existência desse periódico. Ela convida o leitor a refletir sobre os tipos de saberes produzidos sobre a surdez e as formas como os sujeitos com surdez foram sendo narrados nesse período. Ao voltar a olhar para os últimos 30 anos de proposição de políticas educacionais no Brasil, a Professora Maura problematiza os efeitos dessas políticas na organização de práticas escolares destinados aos alunos surdos e na forma como a sociedade se relaciona com a diferença, pós-políticas de inclusão.

ABSTRACT Cerebral palsy is a chronic encephalopathy that affects family functioning, altering everyone’s routine and well-being. The intense care routine can lead to stress and affect parental self-efficacy. Thus, the aim of this article was to evaluate the possible association between stress and self-efficacy in parents of children with cerebral palsy. Eighty-one parents of children up to 12 years old participated in the study. The sociodemographic inventory, the gross motor functional rating scale, the parental stress index and the self-efficacy scale were used. The Correspondence Analysis Technique was also used. High levels of self-efficacy were associated with low levels of stress in the domains of parental distress [2.33 (98.00)] and dysfunctional parent-child interaction [1.12 (73.54)]. High parental self-efficacy acts as a buffer against stressful events in parents of children with cerebral palsy.

RESUMO A paralisia cerebral é uma encefalopatia crônica, que afeta o funcionamento familiar, alterando a rotina e o bem-estar de todos. A intensa rotina de cuidados pode acarretar estresse e afetar a autoeficácia parental. Assim sendo, objetivou-se, neste artigo, avaliar a possível associação entre estresse e autoeficácia em pais de crianças com paralisia cerebral. Participaram do estudo 81 pais de crianças com até 12 anos de idade. Utilizaram-se o inventário sociodemográfico, a escala de classificação funcional motora grossa, o Índice de Estresse Parental e a Escala de autoeficácia. A Técnica de Análise de Correspondência também foi usada. Altos níveis de autoeficácia foram associados a baixos índices de estresse nos domínios sofrimento parental [2.33 (98.00)] e interação disfuncional pai e filho [1.12 (73.54)]. A autoeficácia parental elevada funciona como um amortecedor dos eventos geradores de estresse em pais de crianças com paralisia cerebral.

ABSTRACT In this article, the aim was to revisit the history of the Revista Brasileira de Educação Especial [Brazilian Journal of Special Education] (RBEE), with a focus on the constructions expressed in the organization and structuring of the Journal, over its three decades of existence. For this, we went through the publications of the RBEE from 1992 to 2021, in order to collect, organize and analyze systematized data through units of analysis. Methodologically, the work was organized in two moments: initially, the Journal’s contents, titles, editorials, errata, reports, evaluations and awards were objects of study; in a second moment, the titles of the published studies received attention and their expressions were systematized to create word clouds. From these movements, we created three units of analysis, which were organized respecting the historical landmarks evidenced in the RBEE: I) Creation Phase, which covered the period from 1992 to 2004, marked by the beginning of the institutionalization of RBEE; II) Expansion Phase, which involved the period from 2005 to 2012, in which we visualized the maintenance of the periodicity, as well as the indexing of the RBEE in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) system; III) Consolidation Phase, which comprised the period from 2013 to 2021, mainly characterized by the internationalization of the Journal and the reach of Qualis CAPES A1 in Education.

RESUMO Neste artigo, objetivou-se revisitar a história da Revista Brasileira de Educação Especial (RBEE), com um olhar voltado às construções expressas na organização e na estruturação da revista, no decorrer de três décadas de existência. Para isso, percorreram-se as publicações da RBEE de 1992 a 2021, de modo a coletar, organizar e analisar dados sistematizados por meio de unidades de análise. Metodologicamente, o trabalho foi organizado em dois momentos: inicialmente, foram objetos de estudo os sumários, os títulos, os editoriais, as erratas, os informes, as avaliações e os prêmios da revista; em um segundo momento, os títulos das pesquisas publicadas receberam atenção e suas expressões foram sistematizadas para a criação de nuvens de palavras. Desses movimentos, desprendeu-se a criação de três unidades de análise, as quais foram organizadas respeitando marcos históricos evidenciados na RBEE: I) Fase da Criação, a qual contemplou o período de 1992 até 2004, marcado pelo início da institucionalização da RBEE; II) Fase da Expansão, que envolveu o período de 2005 até 2012, no qual se visualizou a manutenção da periodicidade, assim como a indexação da RBEE no sistema Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO); III) Fase de Consolidação, a qual compreendeu o período de 2013 até 2021, caracterizado, sobretudo, pela internacionalização da Revista e pelo alcance do Qualis Capes A1 em Educação.

ABSTRACT Although the access of people with disabilities (PwD) to work is intensifying due to a global trend of humanization, the portion of this segment that is formally employed is still tiny. In order to problematize such a scenario, this article sought to understand how scientific productions have been discussing PwD in the Brazilian work context. From a systematic review of literature published from 2010 to 2021 in the Web of Science, Spell and CAPES Periodicals databases, among other criteria, a corpus of 33 articles was reached to support the analyses. Finally, it was found that, despite the normative and cultural advances, some urban, architectural, transport, communication and information, attitudinal and technological barriers persist, which trigger difficulties related to accessibility, prejudice and discrimination. Such obstacles make it impossible to include PwD in the work context and demand actions from organizations that, combined with complementary actions by the families of these people and the State, have the potential to enable effective social transformations.

RESUMO Embora o acesso de pessoas com deficiência (PcD) ao trabalho venha se intensificando ante uma tendência global de humanização, a parcela desse segmento populacional formalmente empregada ainda está longe do esperado. Visando problematizar tal cenário, este artigo buscou compreender como as produções científicas têm discutido sobre PcD no contexto de trabalho brasileiro. Mediante revisão sistemática de literatura publicada de 2010 a 2021 nas bases de dados Web of Science, Spell e Periódicos Capes, dentre outros critérios, chegou-se a um corpus de 33 artigos para subsidiar as análises. Por fim, constatou-se que, apesar dos avanços normativos e culturais, persistem algumas barreiras urbanísticas, arquitetônicas, nos transportes, na comunicação e informação, atitudinais e tecnológicas, que desencadeiam dificuldades relacionadas à acessibilidade, ao preconceito e à discriminação. Tais obstáculos dificultam a inclusão das PcD no contexto laboral e demandam ações das organizações que, aliadas a atuações complementares das famílias dessas pessoas e do Estado, têm o potencial de viabilizar efetivas transformações sociais.

ABSTRACT In this paper, we aimed to identify possibilities and difficulties related to teleservice in physical exercise for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) attended by a specialized service in Maceió, Brazil. The AB design was used, and, at baseline, instruments for characterizing the ASD-related symptom profiles of the participants and sociodemographic aspects of both the participants and their family mediators were applied. The intervention phase, which consisted of a teleservice in physical exercise via WhatsApp and a phone call for those who had smartphones and only via phone call for those who did not, was extended from April 2020 to December 2021 and counted on ten male children (6.8 ± 2.1 years old) and their family mediators. During the intervention, analyses of the audiovisual records of the family mediators were conducted regarding the possibilities and difficulties of the application of the intervention. Although there were technological and social difficulties, it was concluded that teleservice was an important strategy to continue the practice of physical activity in the home environment and was associated with an improvement in the relationship between family mediators and individuals with ASD.

RESUMO Neste artigo, objetivou-se identificar possibilidades e dificuldades relacionadas ao teleatendimento em exercício físico para crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) atendidas por um serviço especializado de Maceió. Utilizou-se o delineamento AB; e, na linha de base, foram aplicados instrumentos de caracterização dos perfis de sintomas relacionados ao TEA dos participantes e de aspectos sociodemográficos, tanto dos participantes quanto de seus mediadores familiares. A fase de intervenção, que consistiu em um teleatendimento em exercício físico via WhatsApp e chamada telefônica para aqueles que tinham smartphones e somente via chamada telefônica para quem não tinha, estendeu-se de abril de 2020 a dezembro de 2021 e contou com dez crianças (6,8 ± 2,1 anos) do sexo masculino e seus mediadores familiares. Ao longo da intervenção, realizaram-se análises dos registros audiovisuais dos mediadores familiares acerca das possibilidades e das dificuldades relacionadas à aplicação da intervenção. Concluiu-se que, ainda que tenha havido dificuldades tecnológicas e sociais, o teleatendimento foi uma importante estratégia para dar continuidade à prática de atividade física no ambiente doméstico e esteve associado à melhoria na relação dos mediadores familiares com os indivíduos com TEA.

ABSTRACT: The Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized by deficit in the areas of communication and social interaction, beyond restricted, stereotyped and repetitive behaviors. Although it is a topic under constant discussion in the current literature, there are still many doubts to be investigated. Therefore, in this article, we aimed to investigate the scientific production on the motor development in children with ASD. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis was carried out through searches in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases in relation to the topic of motor development in children with ASD, in the period between 2014 to 2021. For the data analysis, the Bibliometrix package and the Shiny UI for bibliometrix package (biblioshiny) were used, in addition to the Ms Excel® 2013 software for the presentation of tables and charts. An analysis corpus of 89 articles was obtained according to the eligibility criteria. The bibliometrics revealed a panorama of gaps in the educational area, because no publications were found in specific journals in the area. It is also referenced that studies of this nature are important to identify the tendencies in relation to the knowledge production, in order to map institutions, journals and the most published authors.

RESUMO: O Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) é caracterizado por déficits nas áreas de comunicação, interação social e comportamentos restritos, estereotipados e repetitivos. Embora seja um tema em constante discussão na literatura atual, ainda existem muitas dúvidas a serem investigadas. Dessa forma, neste artigo, teve-se como objetivo investigar a produção científica sobre o desenvolvimento motor em crianças com TEA. Para tanto, realizou-se uma análise bibliométrica por meio de buscas nas bases de dados científicas Web of Science (WoS) e Scopus, para o tema desenvolvimento motor em crianças com TEA, no período compreendido entre os anos de 2014 e 2021. Para a análise de dados, foram utilizados os pacotes Bibliometrix e o Shiny UI for bibliometrix package (biblioshiny), além do software Ms Excel® 2013 para a apresentação das tabelas e dos quadros. Obteve-se um corpus de análise de 89 artigos conforme os critérios de elegibilidade. A bibliometria revelou um panorama de lacunas na área da educação, pois não foram encontradas publicações em periódicos específicos da área. Referenda-se, também, que estudos dessa natureza são importantes para identificar as tendências em relação à produção do conhecimento, a fim de mapear as instituições, os periódicos e os autores que mais publicam no mundo

ABSTRACT: Children’s play is recognized as an occupation that favors children’s development and autonomy. Studies carried out with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) showed impairments in participation in playing. This study aimed to describe the participation of children with typical development and with ASD in play situations in the context of Early Childhood Education. It was an exploratory and descriptive qualitative study that used the observation of playing behavior in school as an instrument of data collection. Six children between 4 and 5 years old participated in the research, three with typical development and three diagnosed with ASD. Although the study was not intended to make comparisons, the main results showed differences between the two groups. Children with ASD showed development of playful behavior not consistent with age and concrete play with absent or rudimentary social interaction. These results point to reflections in the context of Occupational Therapy for the development of strategies aimed at the participation of children in Early Childhood Education, indicating the need to promote mediated opportunities and/or with toys adapted according to the interests of children with ASD.

RESUMO: O brincar infantil é reconhecido como ocupação que favorece o desenvolvimento e a autonomia das crianças. Estudos realizados com crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) evidenciaram comprometimentos na participação no brincar. Este estudo objetivou descrever a participação de crianças com desenvolvimento típico e com TEA em situações de brincadeiras no contexto da Educação Infantil. Tratou-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa do tipo exploratória e descritiva que empregou a observação do comportamento do brincar na escola como instrumento de coleta de dados. Participaram da pesquisa seis crianças entre 4 e 5 anos, sendo três com desenvolvimento típico e três diagnosticadas com TEA. Embora o estudo não tenha tido a intenção de estabelecer comparações, os principais resultados apontaram diferenças entre os dois grupos. Crianças com TEA evidenciaram desenvolvimento do comportamento lúdico não condizente com a idade e um brincar concreto e com interação social ausente ou rudimentar. Esses resultados apontam para reflexões no contexto da Terapia Ocupacional para o desenvolvimento de estratégias que visem a participação das crianças na Educação Infantil, indicando a necessidade de promoção de oportunidades mediadas e/ou com brinquedos adaptados de acordo com os interesses das crianças com TEA.
